Amelia leaned against Rhys' side; like always, he was warm, and she liked the feel of his thick cloth robes against her. His arm was a nice pressure on her lower back, like a silent reassurance. Her green eyes softened a little as Teifi spoke; there was genuine concern in her voice. Was she even aware of the situation she, Rhys, and Isadora now found themselves in? That her friends had taken over her home, that their leader was in cahoots with a dark god of evil, and that they three were unable to so much as step outside of the building for fear of certain death?
It certainly didn't seem so.
"Why wouldn't I be concerned, dear? I've been gone for quite some time. It'd be horrible if you were hurt! I'm afraid I haven't been around for your journey here- things could go wrong in a hurry."
Amelia nodded slowly. Things really could go wrong in a hurry, Teifi didn't know the half of it... the reserved expression stayed, but the more hostile emotions started to flit away from her eyes. "I see... I'm fine, though. So are Isadora and Rhys. It's just..."
She trailed off as Teifi went rigid for just a split second after Rhys spoke. What was that for? "I... see. A pleasure to meet you, Rhys. How does man of the cloth fare with a girl so young, I wonder? Are you not a celibate priest?"
Amelia felt her face redden for just a moment, but she recovered within moments. She smoothed out her skirt and let Rhys make his explanation before speaking. "The age difference between us isn't as great as you might assume, Teifi," Amelia said quietly. She put her own arm around Rhys' middle, but she didn't look over to Rhys; Amelia kept her eyes on Teifi. "I don't... think the concern is needed, but I... um, appreciate the sentiment, I suppose."

<[ – K Y Ř O Ş – ]> o[-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------]o -...I can change your life, rest assured...- "I have seen love in vain..." "...I have felt the pain..." The pot sat, steaming and bubbling, while the spoon continued rotating about the edges. The burner was turned off, and bowls were grabbed from the cabinet above. The bowls were evenly spaced on a large plate, each one then filled with a ladle, the vegetable soup steaming even as it entered the bowl.
Kyros took the plate in his hands, cautiously balancing it as he walked out into the common area, smile on his face getting even wider as he saw Teifi lounging on the couch, Amelia's little friend next to her, and that blue woman, Isadora, nearby.
"Dinner's ready, everyone! Minestrone soup tonight. Come on and take a bowl, so I can put this plate back, kids." The smile stuck, even as the steam nearly caused tears to well up in his eyes. Cooking the food was one joy, but nothing compared to seeing others actually enjoy the meal. "...Torn by desire..." "...Lead by the fire..." Isadora heard Kyros announcing dinner was ready along with the aroma filling in the room. Turning her attention, she saw the Warrior carried a large platter with bowls of soup with it. The paladin went and thanked him while grabbing her bowl of soup and spoon.
As she took a chair next to the couch, she dipped her spoon and took a sip. The soup was delicious. She had to admit she had never tasted it before. In fact, she never had any food that tasted great when she was imprisoned. Maybe these Heroes weren't so bad after all..... Despite them working with Mika.
Speaking about Mika, Isadora turned her attention beyond the door frame and wondered. Would she see Mika again in this very room? It was unsure. She could call for Mika if she wanted some food. But then again, the Arch-Druid was in a foul mood right now. Mika........ Isadora thought concerning.

Evelyn continued to curse her luck as Jyoti helped her carefully up the stairs. Blood lose wasn’t yet a problem, due to the gash, yet, but Evelyn was starting to feel a bit sluggish. Such a state could have been caused by numerous things though, take hunger for example. Kyros must have found the kitchen to this strange house that attacked people for a hobby, since Evelyn found a wonderful scent hitting her nose. She wasn’t always keen on eating Kyros’ cooking, but there can’t be too many ingredients she would rather avoid stocked in the house, so it ought to be safe to eat. If by chance it wasn’t… well Triumph would more than enjoy it, but she had a feeling it be edible for her.
”Phew,” Evelyn said as she breathed a sigh of relief, once Jyoti had handled the task of healing her knee. She would now be able to conquer the enemy that is stairs. Those stairs would rue the day they tried to mess with Evelyn, that’s for sure. ”Na, I should be fine.” The beastmistress stood up and flexed her knee to prove this, finding that it no longer created any difficulty for her. ”More importantly, lets go get dinner!” It was if on cue that Kyros made the call for dinner, something she could admit to have been looking forward to. Well, before she went down the stairs again, she would have to clean up the blood from her newly healed knee before it decided to harden and get all yucky.

A small, delicate flower, fluttering in the breeze...... A petal, claimed by a gentle wind, floats away... ☼ JYOTI ☼ ¤▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬¤With Kyros' call for dinner, Jyoti nodded slightly, as if the warrior could see her nod from up the stairs and through the rooms. The food smelled great from what Jyoti could tell, and she remembered how much she missed his cooking... well, as long as it didn't include too much meat. ... That wasn't the point, though.
"Yes, let's!" The valkyrie chimed in agreement, heading down the stairs while Evelyn went to clean off her leg. On the way down, though, she nearly kicked a shield that was placed on the top step. She stared at it for a couple of moments. That would have hurt... Jyoti made a mental note to ask about the shield later as she made her way down the stairs. She tried to do this as quickly and quietly as possible, but really, doing both was nearly impossible. She opted for the quietly, making little noise as her feet took her from the top of the stairs back into the main room, so that she wasn't disruptive of anything.
"Smells great, Kyros!" Jyoti commented, smiling at Kyros and taking a bowl of the soup and a spoon carefully in her hands. She kept a firm grip on it as she sat on the floor with her back against the wall. She dipped the spoon into the soup, blowing on the broth gently to cool it off a bit before beginning to eat.
It was absolutely delicious.¤▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬¤... Detached from its home, destined to wither and die alone in an unknown land.

Break me, shake me, hate me... But when the madness stops, you'll be alone.→τειғι← ◣ ♪ I can't feel nothing at all... ♪ ◥ You've confused me in a way that I've never known... She couldn't help but look surprised- priests that weren't required to take the vow of celibacy? It was utterly unheard of, and she'd come from Tellius. Then again, she was probably alive before his great-grandparents had even begun to walk the earth, so she didn't make a mention of it. How awkward would that have been? She could imagine it now...
Hm? But I could have sworn it was required? ...What? Outdated? It was required only a few hundred years ago!
"Ah, I see! My apologies. I was under the assumption that all went through such vows." Deciding that it was much better to avoid asking an obviously awkward question, she just nodded her head and tried on as calm a smile as she could manage. She still bristled at the mere thought of a priest attempting to lay with such a girl, but tried not to let it show. So while appearing stiff, the dancer still looked to be rather cordial. Was she really feeling all right? No, not particularly.
To Amelia, she looked to her arm for a moment before forcing her eyes away. It was wrong, for such a young girl to have her arms around a man like some kind of harlot! Why, if she had anything to say about how a girl her age should act--!
She kept quiet. Instead, she just nodded her head in understanding and excused herself, moving to the table to sit by Kyros and smile.
"Happy to be cooking again?"۞ You just keep me contemplating that your sσuℓ is _slowly_fading... ۞

Seeing that the other morphs had either backed off, or been taken care of, Shento turned back to Melethia. He lifted his hand and stroked the side of her face, then moved behind her, to examine the arrows that had lodged themselves into her back. She fact that they had not done her too much damage was not surprising to him, judging from who he thought she was. He looked up to her face again, and spoke gently.
"This... may be hurt."
He then swiftly plucked both arrows out at once, using both hands, not giving her time to know that pain would come. It was a theory similar to where parents pull their children's baby teeth out, while they aren't expecting it, so that it doesn't hurt as much. Nevertheless, that pain afterwards would be noticeable, but Shento knew she would be able to handle it. He stood straight up, and cracked the arrows in half, in his hands.
"Come.. to inside. ...Yes."
He offered out his hand, to help her go inside, to receive the rest of the proper healing she needed. He wasn't sure why the morphs had attacked her, maybe they saw her as a threat. Now that he thought about it, his fellow heroes may see her as another captive. He didn't want that, but he couldn't tell them who she was to him. And she needed to be healed. So, inside they needed to go.
"You to come.. yes?"

Rhys' frown stayed in place as he noticed Teifi's apparent surprise. What, so just because we're "of the cloth" means we have to deny part of our humanity? ...Hmmph. Thank goodness Begnion nobility of ages past came to their senses.
As Teifi left, he turned his head to Amelia.
"Well, are you hungry? I wouldn't mind getting something, myself."

"... ...Good."
When she took his hand, he gripped her tightly, and pulled her close, and gripped her waist with his arm. He then lifted her up and caught her legs with his other arm, and looked into her eyes.
"...We go."
He then moved forward and made his away into the manor, to where the other heroes were, namely where the captives were located, and placed Melethia down gently upon an open lounging seat. He stood back up, and turned to one of his comrades.
"Jyoti. Heal."
He took a few steps away, then turned back to look at Melethia. After a few seconds, he continued off, out of the room. He didn't like seeing her in that situation. It didn't suit her. So, he'd wait for her to heal. He was fully capable of doing that. After all, she waited for so long for him to wake up. ...In more moments than in Learania.

A small, delicate flower, fluttering in the breeze...... A petal, claimed by a gentle wind, floats away... ☼ JYOTI ☼ ¤▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬¤"Jyoti. Heal."
Jyoti looked up from her soup, staring at Shento for a few moments before turning her gaze to Melethia. She was completely unfamiliar to the valkyrie. Why did Shento want her to heal this girl? It didn't really make make much sense to her.
Regardless, she set the bowl down next to her, standing up and grabbing the Heal that was laying next to her. She couldn't ignore a request from a hero unless she wanted to have a fight start. And, well, a fight would be a rather nasty way to end a nice dinner. "Alright..." Jyoti walked over to where Melethia was, noticing as she got closer the bloodstains on her back. The valkyrie offered Melethia a warm, gentle smile. "This should only take a moment or two..." Her eyes closed and she held the staff out in front of her, once again focusing her magic on the staff and the staff on closing the wounds on Melethia's back. A pale blue orb of light focused on the injuries.
And, sure enough, the wounds were completely sealed a moment later. Violet eyes reopened and she lowered the staff to her side. "That should do it!" She chirped, a smile on her face. ¤▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬¤... Detached from its home, destined to wither and die alone in an unknown land.

Amelia tried not to squirm under Teifi's scrutiny. She nodded just once as Teifi spoke, her voice gaining more strength as she piped up once more. "It's a... common misconception, as he said. I mean... the goddess knows that people want families, right...? I... can't say I know much about the following of Ashera, mostly remembering what I learned of Latona, but I don't think Ashera would condemn her priests for wanting to follow their hearts. It just... doesn't seem right."
The call of food lured Amelia to start to stand, her eyes widening a little. Food sounded really good right now... a full stomach would help her to keep rational. She never acted smart on an empty stomach. "Well, are you hungry? I wouldn't mind getting something, myself."
Amelia turned to Rhys and smiled warmly. "Yeah. It smells great, doesn't it?" she questioned him, rising to her feet. She took Rhys' hand after peeling away her gloves, guiding him to the kitchen. She released his hand once she was able to pick up a bowl and dish out her own serving, and after a minute of blowing on the hot broth, Amelia tasted it. She smiled, sat down quietly at the table, and ate in contented silence. It was really good, she had to admit...

"Thank you." Melethia smiled. She was really glad that those 2 arrow wounds were healed. She didn't want to add those wounds to her list of scars. She was still a little surpised at the way Shento carried her. The way he looked into her eyes.
"He must really think I'm this Katalis person." She thought, "He must have loved her. There was alot of passion in his eyes. Alot of love. I would hate to see the pain he would get if he knew I wasn't that person. He must not like seeing his love in pain. He should come back though now that I'm healed. But what am I going to do?"

Thoughts of concern were slowly diminished when she saw a shadow figure entering in. It took the paladin a minute to get back into reality to see what had happened.
Shocked came to her when she saw Melethia, being carried by a strange man. So she had been captured too..... Isadora thought grimly.
When she heard the man announced his comrade to heal her, the paladin arched her eyebrow. What had happened outside? She thought. As the young woman she saw earlier raised a staff to heal Melethia, Isadora took another closer look at her. She widened her eyes when she saw the sight of blood covered clothes.
"Melethia!" Isadora shouted as she placed her bowl down and headed to her. "What happened to you?"
If Melethia was injured from those morphs she saw earlier, then the members of FEF must be hurt too. Concern started to flood into her veins. "Melethia, were you with the other members? If so, what had happened to them?"

Rhys likewise was more than happy to take a bowl and start eating. Other than one kebab, he hadn't eaten ANYTHING since breakfast, and boy was he hungry! He accepted a bowl of minestrone, noting with approval that it was nice and thick with all the assorted vegetables inside. Pulling up a chair beside Amelia and seizing a slice of bread from a nearby loaf, he began to dig in.
"OMNOMNOMNOMNOM", was all he said for the next five minutes or so until the bread slice was gone and the soup partly so and not-so-hot before he slowed down.
