    Oh and hunny; i love you♥ Mitsukai ( Angel? ) Kanji Mitsukai smiled at everyone and stood up on here seat. "Attention!" She called, and smiled when everyone looked over at her. "Okay, if you walk over at Maggie Moos icecream palor, there's a afterparty! With cake and Icecream(: With your ticket stub you'll get 25% off on ice cream and a free peice of cake. See you there." Mitsukai beamed and got down. "Lets goo!" she said, now recovered from the movie, that no one except her was scared by? Whoa Mitsukai was a scardy cat. Oh well. Mitsukai started walking out of the theater, figuring she'd be social at Maggie Moos, the best icecream parlor in the world!
When Mitsukai got over to the location she sat down, waiting for the remainder of the crew. She went to the coner and imformed the lady that they should be coming and showed her the stub that she'd be accepting. The lady nodded in approval. "I'll get my food once the birthday girl eats." Mitsukai smiled at the cashier and sat down, waiting for everyone else.Joseph Douglas Jones Joesph smiled at L. "Yummy Icecream." He said smiling and walked out. "Comeon." He callled as he walked out of the theater. When he made his way into Maggie Moos he sat next to Mitsukai. "Waiting for the birthday girl?" He asked, she nodded yes. So it all was fine. Joesph looked at the selections. He knew Mitsukai would order 'red velvet cake milkshake' and he'd order an 'icecream sunday'. It was the most common eatting choice for the two.
"Nice party you threw. What we doing for my birthday?" Joseph said and laughed. "Ohh, Nothing Much. Just throw you in the dumpster" Mitsukai mumbled, causing Joesph to glare. "Ohh, so so nice." Joseph laughed, knowing she was teasing.

L giggled at Joseph's first reply, but then quickly looked back to the screen when she heard a scream. The movie ended and she oculdnt't help but shake her head at how lame it was. It'd be uch better as a book. She glanced over at Mitsukai and grinned, knowing full well the girl had been scared.
She started to look around for her brother but Mitsukai commanded her attention again. Oh yay, I love Maggie Moos. That was possibly the best parlor in the whoe country. A smile danced across her face as she jumped up in her seat. "Yummy." She followed not far behind Joseph and arived about a minute after he did. She plopped down beside the two when she entered. L was going to get the Rocky Road ice cream, it was the BEST.
Adam was entertained the entire movie since he sat by Daina. She had laughed so hard she had gotten him laughing a few times, while others he had feared for her life. As they ley left for ice cream the boy turned to her with a crooked grin. "Your a riot at movie theatres you know that?"

Mick had found the movie hilarious overall. When Mitsukai announced the Aafter partyMick debated if she should go. She wasn't really friends with Nikky and she felt bad for crashing the paty. But Adam would probably kill her if she left early so she decided to stay.
When she entered the parlor Mick looked oer the flavors, wanting to decide what it was she would eat. She ended up settling with the mint chocolate chip, something she usually got.

Thorne raised an eyebrow at Mitsukai. Jeez, this girl was a bottle full of emotions. First she was scared, then mad, then scared again, once again mad, and now she was staring into his eyes for whatever reason that he could not pin down. But before he could say anything, she was once again scared and clutching his arm. Sighing at her behavior, he turned back to the movie that was….over, oh. That was unexpected. He was so distracted by Mitsukai he didn’t even realize that it had ended.
Thorne stood up and stretched especially his arm, which he was sure had all the circulation cut off. Hearing Mitsukai’s comment of not liking the movie, he couldn’t help but add an “I’ll say.”
Once again, Mitsukai stood up on a theater chair as she let everyone know about the after party. Man, that girl was certainly an attention grabber. Stuffing his hands in his pockets of his jacket, Thorne set off after everyone else. Trailing behind, he considered sneaking away, but he knew for a fact that Mitsukai would kill him. Really, she certainly was a social butterfly quite the opposite of him. While Mitsukai seemed to thrive in groups like this, Thorne preferred being only with one or two people or by himself. Quite the opposites they were, but wasn’t there that old saying…
Entering the ice cream parlor, Thorne sat down across from Mitsukai. He already knew that he was just going to order the superman. So, he relaxed and leaned back in his chair observing the people around him. …Your best look,

Kyuubi walked out of the theater, and walked over to the ice cream parlor. He took a seat near everyone else. He would wait until everyone else decided on their ice cream while he thought about what to get. He was always picky about what he would eat. He knew his parents had the same problem. He decided he picked it up from them.

But he hadnt. Woot! Mitsukai was overjoyed. Mitsukai looked at Joseph smiling at him comment. "Comeon, you know a dumpster is exacly where you belong." Mitsukai giggled sticking her tounge out at him.
She then put her attention back on Thorne. "Soo, what ya' getting?" Mitsukai asked. She was really happy to be in a crowd like this. Mitsukai relized she was still holding her gummys, that made her laugh. "Okay, is there a time limit befor these things are supposed to be aten up? I think i broke it." She said and finished the bag. "yum." She said and excused herself to throw the bag away, than sat down in her seat, returning her intrest back to Thorne.Joseph Douglas Jones Rolling his eyes at MItsukai's comment Joesph looked for L. "Hey boo. Mitsukai's being mean. Beat her up." Joesph teased, when he looked over at Mitsukai, her attention was to much on Thorne. Of course she'd get attached to that boy. She was good at that. Joesph figured she wanted to know everything about Adam, Thorne, and that kid she was talking to at dinner. Last year it was Kyuubi, Minron, and Exo. Though Minron did an disappering act. Kyuubi's her ex. And Exo dissapered half the year then graduated.
"Uhh, are we going to wait for Nikky? I want icecream." He chuckled and noticed other students getting there frozen treats. He grabbed Mitsukai's ticket and got up. "Ones for me and ones for her." He said to the cashier pointing to Mitsukai and handing her the tickets. He ordered a medium red velvet milkshake with choclate cake for mitsukai. And and icecream sunday with no cake for him. He paid and handed Mitsukai the treats. "On me. kay?" He said and took a bite outta his icecream. 'Thankyou.' Mitsukai mumbled and took a sip of her milkshake.

Wow. That movie... wasn't good. Devon sighed, having eaten all his treats, and exited the theater before anyone else got out. He briefly heard an announcement of ice cream and stuff at Maggie Moo's. Whatever. Free cake. Cheap ice cream. What could be much better? He moved swiftly, caring not a whit that he hadn't spoken a word to anyone. It would be more personable at the ice cream parlor. But did he want it to be? Did he really want to talk to any of them? Well, unless one of them proved to be especially awesome or assholey, then not really, but still, free food. Devon was never one to pass up food.
With this in mind, he nabbed his skateboard, and set off down the slightly wet streets. At least it wasn't rainy anymore. Just wet. Like the streets. And the puddles, which he rode through, and proceeded to slide — off his skateboard, that is. It was slick, and his board skid sideways out from under his feet. He landed hard on his forearm with a grunt of pain. That hadn't been pleasant. Having had his sleeves rolled up, it left a shallow, yet stinging, gash in his arm. He brought the abused skin to his mouth and tried to clot the blood and clean it off somewhat. The metallic taste made him grimace, and he quickly figured out this wasn't working. Oh well, it wasn't bleeding profusely. He pulled his sleeve down and decided to wrap it once he got back to his dorm.
After taking his little fall, he saw that many had arrived before him. Well, as to be expected he supposed. He just realized how horribly awkward it would be walking in while they were all talking and being amiable. Like an intrusion. Oh well. Free cake. He strode in, propping his board (that was slightly roughened at the side it skid on) against the wall, and pretended he didn't feel uncomfortable.
The lady behind the counter seemed slightly displeased at his appearance. No doubt because he looked scruffy and unkempt, maybe a little dirty after his fall, but it mattered not. He gave her his ticket stub and got his free piece of cake; and just because he was there, he got a triple scoop of ice cream: one scoop of Deutsch chocolate, one scoop Oreos and cream, and one scoop rocky road. Yeah, he was making it difficult simply to piss off the counter lady. He sort of did that. On purpose. A lot. And, just because he felt like it, got gummy bears and Reeces Pieces toppings. Ahh, sugary joy. It was an amazing thing he wasn't three hundred pounds. The joys of being a technopath. "I thank you, mellon nin," he chimed with a fake Elvish accent, giving her a wink. She looked slightly disturbed at the use of this... whatever the hell he said, but smiled when he winked. He paid the lady (and gave her a generous tip for putting up with him), and took his cake and ice cream to a table.
"Thy shan't strike thee fair lady," Devon said to Joseph, an astonished hand on his chest as if scandalized. Amber eyes darted to Mitsukai briefly, just long enough to wink at her, before eating a heaping scoop of his strange (but delicious) ice cream combination.

Nikky should have known that her birthday party wasn't going to stop just because the movie was. After gathering all her things, she made her way to Maggie Moo's, not rushing because she had alot of things to carry. Once she dropped her presents off in her car, she headed across the street.
When she got there, she noticed some of her friends hadn't gotten their ice cream yet. "How sweet, waiting on me...Get your butt's up their and get some grub!" she teased, heading to the counter herself. Nikky handed the lady her ticket stub, and said that she was the birthday girl. The lady behind the counter gave her a huge corner slice of cake and she ordered some strawberry cheescake icecream to go with it.
Nikky paid the lady for her icecream and sat down with Mitsukai, Joseph, Thorne, and everyone else. She smiled up at the rest before making the illusion of eighteen lit candles on her birthday cake. "Ready for me to make a wish and blow out the candles?"
Daina stood up and streched once everyone was starting to leave. She turned to face Adam once he made his comment. "Me? A riot at movies? Nah, not usally." She said with a smile. " Its really only the gory movies that get me going, seeing as I know what really happens when bodies get mutilated. All thanks to my power." She laughed.
Daina noticed that most everyone else was gone. "Hey, you heading over to get Ice cream too?" She asked Adam. "That way we can walk over together." She stated.
Cadence's mood improved a bit when she heard ice cream and cake mentioned. That was just the thing she needed at the moment. Before heading to Maggie Moo's, Cadence made a stop at the movie theatre's bathrooms. She checked to make sure the almost tears didnt mess up her makeup.
Once she was satisfied with her appearance, Cadence walked through the nearly empty theatre lobby, through the parking lot, and across the street to the icecream parlor. She waited in line. When she got to the window, she gave the lady her ticket stub, got her free cake, and got herself a double scoop of cotton candy ice cream, her favorite. She took her food over to sit by the rest of her friends, and she began to eat her icecream.

Oh and hunny; i love you♥ Mitsukai ( Angel? ) Kanji Mitsukai smiled when she sat Archimedes. "Hey, join us?" She offered, not really in the moodto force him to do anything. But getting to talk to him would be pretty cool. Mitsukai couldnt help to giggle at Archimedes comment. "Eh, if he striked me, i'd surly deserve it." Mitsukai said and looked at Joseph, he seemed entertained by the new arrival. "Oh my manners. Okay Everyone this is Archimedes. Archimedes this is Nikky, L, Joseph, Thorne, Cadence, and Kyuubi" Mitsukai said pointing to everyone sitting near them and introdusing them.
Mitsukai giggled at Nikky. "Hmm, should we sing happy birthday again? Or you just wish?" MItsukai asked since they sung happy birthday earlier. She loved birthday wishs. They were the best, okay well next to star wishes and 11:11. Joseph Douglas Jones Joseph smiled at Archimedes. "Nah, i wouldnt harm Mitsukai. She's more likly to harm me." Joseph said remebering the time she was mad at him so she quicly grabbed him and made a tornado swing him across the school, ouch. When Mitsukai introduced him Joseph smiled at Archimedes. "Nice to meet you." He said polightly.
"I think we should sing it first, it's kinda tradition." Joseph said and started singing it, and everyone else joined in. "Now you can wish." Joseph said after they sung to her.

Thorne shrugged at her question and looked out the window to avoid Mitsukai’s gaze. It was dark, dismal, and wet. It was the perfect weather for where his thoughts were involuntarily going. Every time he started to relax, they once again snuck up behind him. His past obviously did not want him to forget. It’s clutch on him was the reason he could not be like them. Mitsukai’s comments about the gummy bears made him want to sigh and laugh at the same time. Her thoughts seemed so carefree. It was surprising, actually, for one who could accidentally absorb whole lives. Maybe that was her defense mechanism, like blowing up was for him.
A slight p***k on his chest brought Thorne’s attention to the shark tooth that was still hanging around his neck. He had forgotten that he was wearing it. Why was he wearing it in the first place? Why did he need to be reminded of her? This was not the time or place to be weighed down by her. Taking it in his hand, Thorne tugged it from his neck almost savagely. Thorne gazed at it from where it laid in his hand. Maybe it wasn’t the past that had a hold on him, but it was the other way around. What were those lyrics again? Well, bless my soul. You’re a lonely soul .Cause you won’t let go .Of anything you hold. Oh, right. Shaking his head lightly to rid his head of the song, Thorne gently placed the necklace in his jean’s pocket.
He looked around at the smiling and talking friends. They all seemed so happy and carefree at the moment. Even that Archimedes kid seemed to fit in, while he felt as if he floated on the outside. He could occasionally put a toe across the line that separated, but as soon as he relaxed and felt that he actually belonged, he was thrust back to the outside. Glancing at Mitsukai, she thought that she understood, but really she couldn’t. She was able to sympathize, but never empathize with a person like him. He didn’t belong here, and never would. So, he sat quietly looking out the window during the singing. He would wish Nikky a Happy Birthday, and slip out quietly when she was done making her wish. …Your best look,

Oh and hunny; i love you♥ Mitsukai ( Angel? ) Kanji Seeing that Thone looked troubled, Mitsukai got worried. She took of her glove and touched his arm, advoiding thoughts, powers, etc. 'You okay? Wanna go? I'll hang with you, Nikky doesnt need me.' She thought to Thorne. She was overprotective of him and cared. Yea she could never fully understand his problems, she never focused on pain. When she did, it was far to deppressing. So instead she remained pessimistic. Yea, she had her share of trouble. But nothing that she wanted to cry over. She never liked the feeling of deppression.

L laughed at Joseph's earlier comment. "I think me and Mitsukai wouldn't be a fair match. In fact we'd probably end with a tie." She went into a daze for awhile trying to imagine the outcome of that fight, L catching Mitsukai's eye and Mitsukai touching L's skin. It'd definitely be high-top entertainment.
L was interested with Mitsukai's interest in Thorne. She seemed to be glued to him the entire evening. What was that about? When Joseph began to sing she joined in before going up to the counter and buying a rocky road ice cream, no cake.
Sitting back down beside Joseph she took a bite of her ice cream.
Adam chuckled as the crooked grin appeared on his face once more. "Wow, now I'm interested in seeing a gory movie with you. I think one of us would die from the laughter, but I'm not sure which one." He knew if Daina was the one to die she could quickly regenerate. Not fair.
He then glanced around and noticed everyone had left, even Nikky. "You bet, Ice cream sounds delicious. " He nodded and started to walk towards the theater door, holding it open for her.
After singing to Nikky Mick ordered her ice cream and cake, eating both as she watched everyone laugh and converse. She really didn't want to be here anymore. After all she was never really invited. After finishing her cake she walked over to Nicky and wished her a Happy Birthday once more before heading to the door.
Once outside she formed into a Great Dane and took off towards the school.
It only took maybe 10 minutes thanks to the dogs speed, but of course when she got there she was panting heavily. She found a hose and turned it on, lapping the water up slowly. After her drink she turned it back off and headed to her dorm, morphing back to human when she reached the door.

Cassie dropped her bag onto her bed in her dorm. The bed seemed so bouncy, so soft, so warm. This definitely was better than living on the streets. She put on her favorite outfit, jeans with her multicolored sweater over her light blue 'Arnold is a Weenie' t-shirt. She'd had friends while on the street, but a lot of them were'nt so trustworthy, even if they were friendly and caring. She hoped she'd find some friends here that she could lend her possessions to without fearing that they were gonig to be stolen. She tidied up her room and walked out of her dorm, looking for people to talk to.

Thorne was startled out of his thoughts as Mitsukai invaded with her touch and concerned feelings. Shaking his head, he ignored her questions, but responded in thought. ‘You don’t have to do that. Enjoy the party.’ He wasn’t going to ruin her time especially when she planned the whole thing. Thorne stood up. He wasn’t going to be a joy kill for anyone here. Wishing Nikky a final ‘Happy Birthday’, he gave everyone a small smile though it was more of a grimace, and putting his hands in his leather jacket’s pockets, Thorne walked out of the parlor.
Trudging over to where he had parked his car, Thorne skirted around puddles wishing that it was still raining. It was a refreshing element, one that just simply was. Rainy days gave you the excuse to lounge about, or be gloomy and no one would question it. They would blame your mood on the weather, and you could effectively hide whatever your reason was for wanting to sulk. And, when it rained, it was as if the sky was mourning for you, so that you didn’t have to. A wonderful element…the rain.
Reaching his car, Thorne unlocked the doors, and situated himself in the driver’s seat. Taking a minute to detonate a couple fingers, he let the soothing effect of endorphins wash over him. At times like these, he loved feeling pain as pleasure, but he also knew that this was a curse, one that he should hate, but couldn’t help but love. What a masochistic gift. …Your best look,

Oh and hunny; i love you♥ Mitsukai ( Angel? ) Kanji 'Stuborn.' Mitsukai thought and smiled at everyone. She knew she wouldnt be able to enjoy the party any longer. "Happy birthday Nikky, bye y'all. Joseph, eat my cake!" MItsukai demanded and gave Joseph the cake, he took a bit. Mitsukai then walked outside, rain. Mitsukai thought of the makeup she was wearing, no eyeliner. Good; she could enjoy the rain. Though her hair was slowly turning into curls. NOt shirly temple curls. Wavy ones, as is she crunched her hair.
Now where was Thorne. He should of knew she was going to find him. Mitsukai was very predictable. So Mitsukai closed her eyes and thought what would Thorne do. Car, Okay where was his car. Oh, this would be so much easier if she knew what his car looked like. Mitsukai walked to the parking loot and looked at all the cars. Where was his? Oh, just great. Mitsukai kept walking untill she saw tiny explosions. Eh, she felt like barfing. And she still had half a cup of red velvet milkshake left! Mitsukai walked to Thorne's car, kinda glad of his weird way to get relif. Goodness, he must be upset. Great. As if she needed more of a reason to get worried.
Mitsukai walked to his car and tapped on the driver side window. "Comeon, you have to know me better than that!" Mitsukai said. She was kinda concerned. More so she didnt want him alone, esspelly when he was upset. About his ex most likely, poor kid. He ripped off his necklace in the palor, only Mitsukai noticed that. Eh, that made her kinda pathatic.

A tap on the window interrupted Thorne’s internal debate of whether he really was a masochist. Looking over, Thorne saw Mitsukai getting drenched in the rain. Really, what was that girl doing? She didn’t have to come looking for him. ‘Typical’. Rolling down the window so that she could hear him, green eyes met hers, “Get in,” he said shortly. Rolling it back up, he unlocked the passenger door so that she could enter the car, if she wanted. There was still the option of walking away, which she should do. Getting attached to him was never a good thing. He had broken a few hearts in his lifetime. What was it with girls that they seemed to be attracted to the broken? They thought they could change his ways, and that his bad habits would be gone in a matter of days. They thought that he would open up his eyes to see a better world. But boy, were they surprised. They seemed shocked that he wouldn’t bend over backwards for them, or that he wouldn’t clean up his act. They could never realize what his brooding had been for, nor did they want to. They wanted someone carefree and fun to be with. They had been attracted to what they thought was his ‘mysterious’ attitude, when in reality all they wanted was to be loved. This was something he could definitely not give, at least not to them. Lorrie had been different. She had been genuinely concerned, when she had first met him. But, she had accepted his faults and failures without trying to reform him. She knew that one person couldn’t change a whole other person’s life for a short-lived relationship. Lorrie knew how to comfort without prying, and she knew how to feel pain, which she did for the both of them since he couldn’t. She knew when to keep quiet, and when to talk incessantly. She knew how to read his moods, and knew his habits. He had thought that she was the one. Finding out about his powers had just been a road bump; he had been going to break it to her gently, but he put it off managing a way to hide it from her. But of course, she had to walk in on him exploding his hand. After that, she wouldn’t talk to him; she couldn’t even look at him without wincing. She had been confirming what his mother always told him, and so he gradually he gave up. But, he couldn’t let go. He soon started dating like mad trying to find a replacement. He ended up dating and discarding girls within weeks of each other, but none could fill that hole that she left. Even though it had been years since he had seen her, she kept popping up back in his mind. She had been the first love, and no matter how cliché it sounded…the only. Zooming back to the present, Thorne tried to relax in the black leather interior of his car as he waited to see what Mitsukai would do. …Your best look,
