Eulalia Danae Midna responded without any humility.
As they stepped through the portal the sight of them was taken in by Temarin, who let out a loud gasp at the blood and damage. Nuri however was nowhere to be seen. "Where's Nuri? I needa talk da Nuri!" Anc stumbled a bit, hand still clamped firmly over his arm, "Safalli are plannin' an attack. Needa git him somewhere safe."

"He's resting" Temarin snapped back, "he's been ill. If we're dealing with an attack that's your responsibility isn't it? Are you not Nuri's guard? Deal with it. The palace should be safe enough for all of us."

The palace should be safe enough for all of us." Anc growled, stepping towards Temarin. "Fer yer and 'is safety... I am placin' yeh both under my protection. He goes da me tower, yeh go with Midna and stay safe with her, on da move. That's whut we're gonna do, yeh got no say."

Midna gave him a sharp look as he pushed the crazy woman on her, but didn't say anything.
"He's in his room, resting. He's been ill." Temarin said, an odd sharpness to her voice. "If you move him it could make it worse."

Eulalia Danae Midna gave him a sharp look as he pushed the crazy woman on her, but didn't say anything. "He's in his room, resting. He's been ill." Temarin said, an odd sharpness to her voice. "If you move him it could make it worse." He shot Temarin a dark look, and a small smile crept over his lips. "Aight. Have it yer way. Midna, watch Nuri. Imma take a look at 'im befer we deal with lil miss uncooperative, ere."

Eulalia Danae Mid stopped and gave Anc an odd look. "who am I watchin now?" Anc stepped owards Nuri's chamber, "Yer gunna watch Nuri after we see how bad he is. Temarin, yeh gunna come with?"

Temarin hovered close by the door as if wanting to escape. "I can fair well enough here for now."
Mid gave a slight salute to Anc. "That I can do."

Nuri's chamber was kept rather dark, though his breathing was evident in the room. It was a heavy wheeze, though more dry than wet.

"That I can do." -- Nuri's chamber was kept rather dark, though his breathing was evident in the room. It was a heavy wheeze, though more dry than wet. Anc kneeled by Nuri, looking over his form.
Anc clasped Nuri's hand in his, closing his eyes, entering his friend's mind, hunting for something, anything, that would help him out.
