After the man made his remark, he let him leave without a word. He knew Lena was behind him due to his sense being so acute at the current moment. He calmed down in almost no time and turned back to Lena, taking a few steps back so he wouldn't be so uncomfortably close.
Before speaking, he hesitated for a moment to make sure that the other man was gone. He looked up and down the corridor and didn't spot him so he spoke freely. "I've still got nothing in particular to do. We can do whatever you want.", he said.
He drew one of his blades and began to casually spin it on his palm and flip it in the air. He didn't know why he did things like this. They probably didn't mean anything more than something to keep him occupied. He kept repeating this procedure until something came out of Lena's mouth.

Lena could only stare at him. A part of her wanted to throw herself at him. The other part wanted to laugh. She chose the latter and let a soft chuckle out. She moved beyond him and started for the door. "Well we could always go to the courtyard and torture people?" Lena's eyes were lit up in good humor. She wanted to play.

His mind disregarded the statement about torture. He wondered why she'd said it but, did not dwell upon the matter for he knew it was a bad decision. Because of the statement, it made him wonder a bit about Lena's true character, and what she was like in her own private world. He took these thoughts and put them into the back of his mind, trying his best to stay focused on the here and now.
He nodded in reply and started off towards the Southern end of the courtyard. Maybe something interesting might happen.

Jessi smiled as she lay a hand on Darius's.
"Thats amazing. Tell me about what happened...how did you get there? what did you do? You must have been so brave!"
Jessi smiled twirling a piece of hair with the hand that wasn't placed on Darius's. Lily hadn't said a word since she'd given her 'the look' and she was quite pleased with herself for having her plan working so well, unlike those others with had failed so terribly.

Darius looked down at the hand staring at it for a second, until deciding to play along.
"Well me and Lily went to the slave arenas and called the slave masters out."

Jessi smiled quickly remembering when Lily had called her out in the middle of the forest.
"It's a good thing you were there Darius....Lily usually calls out people she can't beat." She looked over at Lily, and Jessi knew that Lily knew what she was talking about.
"But you are always there to save the day aren't you? Whatever would she do without you?" Jessi looked curiously innocent as she waited for his answer, knowing she was pushing Lily's buttons, but the real question was--did Darius know she was pushing buttons?

Darius knew that Jessi was pushing buttons, so, to make Lily feel better, he decided to lie a little.
"Oh no, she did a lot of the work herself, we cut a deal where if we beat their top slaves then the slaves would be released. Long story short Lily beat the top slave and I took down the second and we won."

Jessi cocked an eyebrow at Darius. She could not tell that he was lying but she had trouble beliving that Lily had done alot of work. Lily usually seemed like the girl who always needed help. Never able to do things on her own...still Darius wouldn't lie to her would she?
"Oh you had to fight too?! You didn't get hurt did you?" Jessi asked worried that he might have been hurt.

"No me and Lily didn't have any problems at all. Then we went with the slaves out of the arena and we walked along the road until about 15 killometers away and then we helped build a house for them, isn't that right Lily?"

Lily nodded but said nothing more still feeling a wimp for being so small around Jessi but she was a major threat to Lily and the last time she'd tried to do something about it Lily had made Darius disapointed in her. So she sat there silent as the dead as Darius and Jessi conversed.

Darius noticed the timid feelings emiting from Lily at this moment. He thought it would be best if he would wrap his discussion up soon so he wcould talk with Lily alone.

Jessi could feel the tension that had slowly risen ever since Jessi had silenced Lily. Still she wasn't sure if she should give up on the conversation yet.
"Thats amazing Darius. So you are brave. I bet all those guys were so excited to have a home besides being fighter slaves. I mean wow, pretty cool of you...and Lily."

Darius nodded his head and then took another glance at Lily.
"Well I think it's time to go don't you think Lily?"
Darius was really hoping she would answer, because he wished that he could talk with Lily. It was importnat to talk with her and reassure her. She seemed to be on the breaking point for herself and he didn't want the situation to get any worse.

Lily listened intently to Jessi talk to Darius, but wouldn't look at her, she kept her head down, like a beaten dog, and watched her reflection in the water. When she heard Darius speak to her again she turned to look at him. She could still feel Jessi's eyes on her so she nodded once again, saying nothing but getting up and out of the water wondering if Darius was going to do the same.

Darius also got up and began to walk out of the hot tub.
"I'll see you in a second Lily. You go on ahead."
He then turned around to face Jessi and frowned. It was time he told her about how he felt about what had just gone down. He wished for Lily not to be in attendance because he didn't know what would happen. Besides he knew that Jessi had her silenced.
