Opehlia stalkd off a little ways. She didn't care if that was what it took to get out this place, she wasn't going to kiss anyone.

Opehlia turned around, about to threaten Kevin again when she saw he was gone. She blinked, then sneered, her heart hardening. She slunk off to the tree where he had been sitting and slashed at it, shredding it's feeble trunk. She chuckled and circled around it slashing at the other side, making the whole thing wobble. She kicked at it and it fell over with a dry whispery sound, almost like a huge wad of tissue paper had fallen on the ground. She looked at it hatefully, then sat down next to the crumpled ruins of the dead tree. She clawed at it again, more slowly this time.

She tucked herself against the tree, her eyes half lidded. Well, she was alone again. She didn't mind that so much, but the lack of food was going to be a problem. She was still hungry. That vial Kevin had given her only dampened her hunger, and now it had been a long time. Her belly gurgled and she hissed, her eyes snapping open. She was starving.

She snarled, leaping up, her eyes full of wild fury. She hated being hungry. And she was hungry all the time. At least at her den there was a steady supply of Hollows to satisfy her hunger somewhat. But this place had nothin. Nothing even living. Not even grass!

She stalked around, hissing and mumbling to herself.

"There's no food here...I'm hungry...I want my den...I want to eat...I'm hungry...I want to kill that woman...I'm hungry..." She muttered, her movements becoming more jerky by the minute.

Opehlia screeched, slashing at the air. Her breath came in ragged gasps. Hollows and Arrancar needed much more food than most other beings, due to their insatiable need to fill the mptiness inside themselves from losing their own soul. Their metabolisms worked at an astonishing rate, breaking down anything consumed almost instantaniasly, unless that somthing was very, very strong. This is why Hollows always saught soul reapers to eat, because of their highly concentrated Reitsu bodies.

Opehlia's own body was begining to break it's very muscles down, much as a human's would do in an extreme survival situation. Pretty much all this screaming and flailing around was speeding this process up.

Opehlia didn't know any of this, but she knew her belly was burning. She needed something to eat. She groaned, clutching at her belly and squatting on the ground, as if that could make it feel better.

It didn't.

She squeezed her eyes shut and hissed again to herself. She was begining to rock back and forth when she thought she heard something. her head snapped up, foam flecking the edges of her mouth.

"Whose there! Show yourself!" She snarled, standing up and wobbling a little. She screeched, her hands half lifted and her claws beared. She knew she heard them. the footsteps. The patent leather shoes clicking down the dirty linoleum floor. She screamed, trying to run backwards and tripping and falling onto the hard rocky soil.

She could feel the straps on her arms...that wretched light shining on her face...Those cold hands...The laughter...The explosion of electricty all throughout her body, happening again...and again...and again...

"No...No...I don't want to...Don't make me..." She whimpered, hugging her shoulders and scooting backwards.

But, there was no one there. She was alone.

Opehlia shivered, keeping her eyes closed. A distinct smell of aftershave seemed to drift from kevin, and she could hear his leather shoes clicking on the tile, his white coat fluttering about him as he moved. He cooed to her,

"Don't worry sweetheart, this treatments are doing you good. You'll be all better. Just a few more treatments and you can feel better. Just do I say and you'll feel better."

Opehlia whipped her head back and forth in a negative and snarled, shoving at the man who whispered in her ear.

Opehlia's throat constricted, wildly thinking for a moment it was medicine. Then she tasted it and it brought her around a little. The scene around her vanished and she looked blearily around, hearing something about a kiss. She fell forward, catching herself with her arms before sliding to the ground.

"No." She hissed softly.

"No!" Opehlia screamed, choking on a mouth full of dirt. She coughed, pressing her face into the soil until her visioon was nothing but dirty gray bits of sand. She closed her eyes, completig the blackness. She shook her head again.

Opehlia said nothing. She didn't know why she wasn't taking Kevin's offer, she knew it was him now, her body screamed at her YES! YES TAKE IT! DO WHAT HE WANT!

But she wasn't going to. She didn't bend to to other people's will, no matter how much life sucked. She didn't know why she did this, but she did. She breathed heavily into the sandy ground and a smile crept across her face.

"I have already been to that hole. And I've come back." She laughed softly, breathing in more sand and coughing.

Opehlia chuckled softly.

Aww, just like the good old times eh? Demons jumping all around? Eyes glowing in the shadows? Those heels clicking down the hallway? She shivered, clenching one hand into a fist hard enough to draw blood. The pain refocused things, brought her back.

What good was that though? She knew it was coming. The darkness. Filled with it's unimaginable horrors yet again. She bared her fangs to the cold ground. She wasn't going to give into it this time.

"I'm...stronger than before...You'll have a hell of a time getting me." She spoke, to who, no one could be certain. A weak flicker of electricity snapped at the empty air around her, then crackled around her body before diminishing.
