Pastela gave him a quizzical look. "Really? You don't seem the type to be alone often.... Well, you're more than welcome to hang by me for as long as you feel you can put up with me." She than cast a glance to the two Squirrels. "And for as long as they can put up with me as well, of course."

Woobie smiled, "That would be nice." He didn't remember how nice ti was to be with others. "I usually just hang out with the squirrels." They did whatever he told them, but wasn't nice to be someone who just wanted to be with him.
Woobie stuck out his elbow, "M'lady?" He chuckled as that was the most formal he had ever been. "Which way should we go?" He didn't leave the forest much.

Pastela laughed a little and took his elbow. "Are you being formal because I'm taller, or just because it's something to do?" She gave him a toothy grin, then looked around. "I really don't know which way to go.... maybe we should just start walking?"

"I don't know, just seemed the thing to do." He smiled and then closed his eyes. He threw an acorn and then opened his eyes, "Where it went we'll start walking...sound like a plan?" Woobie was so random it was a miracle he remembered what he had set out to do in the first place.
((I have to go, but we can pick this up tomorrow. biggrin ))

Ooh, that actually sounded like a good idea. First, Aysu had given her that beautiful ring, and now she could give her a necklace. It sounded like a good idea; the naiad loved showering Noel with all sorts of gifts. "Yeah! Let's grab a few more!" With a grin, Aysu dipped back under the water and started grabbing more of the beautiful shells from hermit crabs and beautiful, smooth rocks before coming back to the surface again.
"Here's some... Maybe we should head back to the shore once we get enough." All these rocks could be a little tedious to swim with. It was hard to move her arms with all of these rocks and shells in her arms. All of them were beautiful, and she could make a great necklace for Noel with all of these pretty shells and rocks.

The only problem with Faroth's theory was that Texas wasn't particularly irritated. Dealing with both Magnus and now Okeanos had built up his patience. Both of them were incredibly annoying, similar to the way that Faroth was acting now. Texas could deal with this, but he needed to find a good approach to get the kid to start talking instead of simply trying to challenge him to hurt him or something.
Perhaps he needed to ask a different question. Focusing on the fact that Faroth insisted he was no longer scared, Texas asked, "If you're no longer scared, why won't you answer? It's not like we're going to eat you or anything."
Magnus rolled his eyes. If it was his choice, he would've drugged the thing up until it talked. Of course, Texas wouldn't appreciate that very much; it probably wouldn't get the faerie too far if he was even able to get the alcohol in the young one's system. Hopefully Texas' method would eventually work, though. He usually could get answers out of Magnus, though that was because Magnus had realized he couldn't really hide anything from his best housemate.

Seiana_ZI The naiad felt his face heat when the angelic teenager grabbed his hand. That was an odd feeling. Zuri shook his head slightly in an attempt to rid himself of the heat in his face--not that he particularly wanted the feeling of his skin crawling back--before he turned towards Waikiki Kiki. "Well, alright." If she wanted to come with him, he wasn't going to protest; the naiad was definitely a social creature. He fell back so he could walk with her, though he still wanted to get to the lake as soon as possible.
After a few moments, the naiad offered a, "Thanks. You know, for coming with me." He smiled at her, before becoming distracted by another terrible itch. He started raking his not free arm with his free hand. The other hand was still occupied with Waikiki Kiki's hand; he didn't seem to think of letting go of it. "You could have easily just stayed back there," he offered, in-between the various noises he made while itching his bad arm.
*** ((okay adding Pinky Lee to Cutter, Nitidu, Arvid and Safforn.)) Pinky Lee had wandered the forest long enough. She was bored and wanted to find some shrimp to nosh on. Before long she saw a group of others. She wondered what they were doing.
"They seem nice." the angel flamingo said.
"No, they don't. Anyway, shrimp!" the demon flamingo demanded.

Well, if she actually had a reason to go back, perhaps he didn't need to feel so guilty. Perhaps Waikiki Kiki was going to go back soon anyway, and he just gave a conveinent excuse for her to leave early. Yeah, that was it--nah. Still, pretending that was so made Zuri Seabrook feel a little better about walking with her back to Tuatha'Ri Lake. "Well, he'll get to see that you're fine soon enough, then."
The naiad never bothered to let go of Waikiki Kiki's hand as they walked for some reason. It was almost like he had forgotten he was holding on her hand. Zuri scratched his leg with his free hand, not really helping the itch go away but certainly giving himself a short relief in the few spots he was consistently itching. He walking was fairly slow; it was a bit painful for him to move and he was busy itching, but he was still moving at a steady pace.

Sadly, the poor angel pae got just as frightened as the first time, starring at the newcomer with wide eyes before taking a few frightened steps away, only to bump ever so slightly into Cutter, which made her more frightened. Closing her eyes she bolted, running as fast as her frightened legs could carry her away from the group, shaking all the while. She didn't get very far, as because her eyes were in fact closed, she ran right into a tree and toppled backwards with a thud, lying stunned on the forest floor.
While his sister spent her time freaking out, Arvid placed a hand over his face, shaking it in dismay. He wished he could say that this was the first time that she had done this, but alas, she even did this with plants when they shook on windy days if the lighting was poor enough. Once she wasn't running away anymore, he heaved a heavy sigh and moved over to her location.
"These two aren't going to hurt you. They both seem very nice. Now stop acting this way and lets go, okay?" he said, speaking in a calming tone, hoping she would calm down.

"I hope so. Though I'm worried that they won't be strong enough to carry me all the way to the other side. Maybe someone will be able to build a bridge."
Alaera stretched out her wings even more as she spoke trying to rise into the air as Ivy had, growling lowly in annoyance when she found that the bag she'd slung across her shoulder was now in the way. Removing it, she discovered that it was no longer as light as she remembered it being. Moving the brown leather satchel to hang just around her neck she peered into it a bit distracted from her company, a look of surprise and shock entering her face.
She pulled out the acorn she had placed inside revealing that it had grown probably ten times in size and was now purple. Looking it over carefully she just couldn't believe the change. Looking up at Ivy, she presented it to her. "You're the Elder of Flora. Ever seen anything like this? It used to be regular sized and brown." Sally felt her eyes water up as she thought of the ruined state her garden and home were in. She nodded. "I'm afraid so. My home was completely destroyed, I don't think there's even any fixing it. And my garden well. It's not much of a garden anymore. At least there's nothing growing in it now.
She grew silent at the news that the island had fallen into the sea. She wasn't sure of her feelings. For the first time ever she began to feel angry and the fierceness of the emotion scared her. Angry that the Guardians hadn't given them warning. Angry that the Guardians had let this happen. She wondered how many other pae over the island had suffered as she and Hula Bob had or if any of them were hurt.
The pumpkin pae sighed and pushed the confusion in her head aside. "What are you going to do Hula Bob? I mean about your bar?"
Lhiannan stumbled out of Dragnid forest, very confused. Something felt wrong and her head hurt very bad. She couldn't remember much of anything at all other than waking up in a deep dark well with the smell of sulfur burning in her nose. The brightness of the day blinded her and she squinted trying to survey the land around her. Green grass seemed to stretch out across the horizon and she could hear running water to her left.
Her head started spinning and she stumbled again. 'Something was not right' The thought kept repeating itself inside her mind.

"Could you gt me some seaweed?" They could use that to string them. While Aysu was busy getting shells, Noel was busy punching holes in each one so they could string them. They would be beautiful necklaces.

CUtter watched the girl with a small smile on his face. He really couldn't help it, it was sort of funny. "No, we won't bite." Cutter said and walked over to the girl. He offered her hand and hoped she would take it.

Ivy took the acorn and was busy studying it when her family strode up. She wasn't sure what it was. No tree sh had seen could produce an acorn of this size and color. "I'm not sure. Takeko?" Her daughter-in-law knew about every plant she saw, maybe she knew?
Aspen smiled at his mother who was now too deep in thought to be interrupted. He took Melek's hand, "Let's go check out what everyone is reading, Ok?" That way he felt useful while the girl's worked on the acorn.

Waikiki KiKi smiled. "Yeah, I guess he will. I wonder if they have fixed the bar yet?" She really didn't know what her family was going to do about it. If she had a say her vote would be moving to the new beach. Sure, Zuri couldn't go in the water, but that didn't mean he could go to the bar on the beach. It just seemed like the better place for it now that there was a real beach and ocean.

"Oh, no bummer dudette." Hula Bob said and put his arm around Sally's shoulders. He really didn't like the thought of someone getting their home and their loved garden destroyed. He was only thinking of himself and that wasn't right. "I'm sorry to hear that." He said as he tried to smile to her.
"I don't know. There is a real beach now...I was thinking of moving it there, but then I don't leave the beach. Shaw...it's a nasty problem."

Pinky Lee watched the others for a while. She wasn't sure if she should bother them. They seem to being talking about something. Still, something did seem off. "What is wrong?" She wouldn't remember herself.
"The island fell to the water. the angel flamingo told her.
"About time." the demon added.

Pastela watched as the acorn flew up and over their heads, turning to see where it fell. "Alright, sounds plan enough.... If your squirrel friends are right and the island has changed, then any way we go could hold surprises of any kind...."
'And perhaps my brothers has well....' She thought quietly to herself. Now, more than ever, she was worried about them. She had no way of knowing if they were in danger or not, but she really prayed that they would be alright.
(Bwahahaha, Kira sorta has her colors up again!)

Woobie nodded, "Yeah!" He was excited to see the changes. He wasn't one for sameness he loved change. "Let's go then." He took her arm and started toward where the acorn fell. He wasn't sure exactly which way it was taking them, but that was the fun of it all.

Pastela easily kept pace with him, snuggling a little into his arm. She felt rather nervous and a bit scared at what the changes could hold. Quietly, her other arm snuck around his arm so that she was hugging it rather like a child would to an adult. "Do you think the island is still safe for us...?"

Woobie blushed a little as the girl wrapped her arms around him. Been a while since he had close contact with other paes. He knew she was nervous and didn't want her to be. "Nah, I doubt it. I bet there is a good reason for this. Don't worry, I'll protect you." Plus, he had an army of squirrels all he need do was call to them and they would be there.
