Okay Let's See if I can Help.
Lyra Elizabeth
Ok, here we go. This is going to be sort of long, by the way. EDIT: Actually, it's very long. Don't say I didn't warn you. XD
Things in square brackets are comments/questions.
Now lets play "spot the errors" and discuss everything that you think is wrong with it!
Threads to create:
General Info and RP rules (Announcement – I think Adonis wanted to make a post of some sort too)
Shops info +applications (sticky?)
Residential Areas (sticky)
St Mungo’s Hospital (sticky?)
Shops (normal threads)
All shops and residential areas should have an abbreviation at the beginning of the thread title. Eg, HgsMd: Joke Shop.
RA: Residential Areas
HgsMd: Hogsmeade
DgnA: Diagon Alley
General Info Thread:
Aging:
You are now a Hogwarts graduate. After one term, you will be 30 years old. You will then age one year per term.
Children:
At the start of each term (once you are 30), you may choose to have a child. After one term, this child will be 11. They will then age one year per term.
Once your child is 11, they may start at Hogwarts as a first year. They will be in the same house that you were in. Once they graduate, you can no longer have any children (remember that this will be about 2 RL years after you first graduated). You can choose to RP with either your original character or the newer one (the child; they will age as a new graduate would).
Residential Areas (RA):
There are four residential areas, one for each Hogwarts house. These are sort of like common rooms, except theoretically each one contains a bunch of houses. How they are organized has been left up to each individual Hogwarts house [[should we put in some basic guidelines for this?]], so make sure you read the rules for your house’s residential area.
Gryffindor: Godric’s Hollow
Ravenclaw: Raven’s Glen
Hufflepuff: Brock’s/Broad Valley
Slytherin: ?
Shops:
Once you have graduated, you can own your own shop. It can either be a shop from the HP books (Hogsmeade or Diagon Alley) or one of your own making. To do this, you must fill out a shop application in THIS[link] thread.
{{For when there are a few shops up and running:
Once you have graduated, you may work in someone else’s shop. Simply ask the shop owner if they will “hire” you (if they agree to, post in the shops application thread). You must work in another shop for one term before you can apply to have your own shop.
Each shop may have one owner and one “employee”. (Subject to change to two if there are many new graduates).
Once you have completed the above requirement, you may apply to have your own shop by filling out a shop application.}}
Shop Information + Application Thread:
[[From general info thread:]]Once you have graduated, you can own your own shop. It can either be a shop from the HP books (Hogsmeade or Diagon Alley) or one of your own making. You must fill out a shop application form (below). Please note that shops will be approved only if they are likely to attract a reasonable amount of RP.
Current shops + owners:

[[Possible idea: Make these two to begin with, though someone can still apply to own them?
Inn/tavern (graduates only)
Tavern (everyone)]]
Ideas for shops:
(A good place to look is the HP Lexicon, under either Hogsmeade or Diagon Alley. Please consider that only shops which are likely to get a reasonable number of posts (attract RP) will be accepted. We don’t want shops that will simply sit there empty because that will cause the forum to die.)
Zonko’s Joke shop
Sweet shop
Magical items/instruments shop
Potions shop/Apothecary (potions ingredients)
Miscellaneous/School supplies (quills and parchment, cauldrons, scales)
Animal shop/Vet (owls, cats, rats, toads, etc)
Flourish & Blotts (bookstore: textbooks, interest books, novels)
Clothing store (robes, school robes, quidditch robes, dress robes)
Shop Application:
Please make sure you have read the information above before applying to own a shop.

{{If we decide to change the rules about shops after a couple terms, a question about "have you worked in another shop for at least one term?" will need to be added at that time.}}
I agree that should be added later we are up and running but, I cant think of anything to add.
We should put some basic guides for the average house. For Example the rules of the house, like we talked about.
The only thing I don't agree with in this is that the Inn (which I think I might run, if it's okay with everyone, it was my idea)is going to need more then 1 other person as an 'employee'. I would probably need 2-3 'employees'.
Also are we going to have a seperate thread for applying. I'm a little confused. If we do, it could be like the Staff room. If we don't, should they just post that info in the shop?
Also you didn't discuss where everyone (grads) would live during this period (Either the Inn or if they have a family home already up and running).
I thought we desided the Hogsmeade had enough shops for everyone. Especially since we can also make new stores.
Everything else I agree with.
Also, I just wanted to say thanks to you Lyra for keeping everything together and your and everyone elses amazing ideas.
(Sorry If that's confusing I tried to put everything in order of what you talked about)
