Iwa broke a small piece of his skin off, quite easily. As he held it in his hands, the broken body part started to heal as the broken piece began to turn into Quartz.
"Catch this."
He said, throwing it to Ren.

Ren caught the quartz stone with both hands as he stared at it with his Byakugan still activated.

"Tsuchi stone focuses on changing the molecular geometry of rocks, making them grow faster. Essentially, when you do this, you also begin to spawn new crystalline structures, create new compounds, hard enough to match the hardness of diamond."
Iwa paused. Thinking for a bit.
"You, having already figured out how to mold stone, this is no different. With crystal structures, they will grow in a specific way. Quatz is cubic, meaning if you were to make it grow, it's for square like shapes and edges. 90 degree angles. Different crystals grow in different ways. For now, like you're been doing, keep that piece of quartz. Your job is to use your chakra to grow it into a perfect rectangle. As such, you'll need to shape it, often."
He Paused again.
"And one last thing, it has to be twice the size of your body."

"All I got from that was I'm suppose to make this little quartz larger than my body two fold..!"
Ren stated in anguish. The energy flowing through the quartz was slightly different than the stone he shapeshifted before. His Byakugan was still focused on the quartz stone in his hand.

Ren saluted with his free hand, "Yes sir! I'll try my best!"
Ren sat on the ground and crossed his legs Indian style. He held the quartz up in one palm and tried to get familiar with this new type of stone.

Ren's Byakugan was focused on both the quartz stone in his palm and the earth he was sitting on. Their makeup was defiantly different from one another.
Ren tried to mold the quartz into a different shape but his current chakra output wouldn't make it budge.

He suddenly clasped his other hand over the quartz stone and tried to apply the same amount of chakra as before. He held the quartz stone in between both hands as he slowly started to pull them away from the quartz. The quartz was extending and growing according to how far he pulled his hands away.
The chakra was guiding the stone's growth.

Ren lost focus and the quartz stone slipped from between his hands.
"AGH!"
The stone had grown longer than his arms and as wide as his chest. Also, it was heavy. Ren forced it off his legs and stood up; walking around in circles to make sure his legs weren't damaged.

"I managed to make the quartz the size of my torso."
Ren stopped walking around in circles and decided that his legs were fine. He pointed to the large quartz stone that was sitting on the ground.
"I don't know how to make it bigger than that-- let alone twice the size of my body."

He cleared his throat.
"Remember, each stone has a specific shape it grows in. Slowly, like the speed of its chakra rotation. What you have to notice, is that the chakra rotates in the shape of its growth. If you accelerate that, it will grow larger and bigger. The more energy you put into it, the bigger it will become."

Ren's Byakugan focused on the large quartz stone and he started to notice the chakra pattern flowing through the stone. He walked up to the quartz stone and placed both palms on it. Ren closed his eyes and started to focus more on the quartz's chakra flow.

Ren opened his eyes and forced chakra into the quartz stone. He channeled his chakra into the stone's chakra path. His Byakugan revealed that the stone's composition was starting to grow rapidly. In a few seconds the quartz was three times the size of Ren's body. He deactivated his Byakugan and took several steps back with a smile on his face.
"YEAAYEAYEAA!!
EAT IT MEESHA, EAT MY DELICIOUS EDUCATION!"
