Dalcon is knocked slightly back by the force of the explosion, covering his face at first. As he peeks between his fingers, it's all he can do not to wretch. "Huaah...I don't believe it..."

Something wet bothers Iri's foot. She looks down at her toe without uncrossing her arms. Now she's in Dalcon's same boat.
"Blood... Blooood... Ack!"
Despite the fact that her left arm is covered in her own blood, Daedalus' single drop of blood is what makes her flip. Then, she notices something. It's not a single drop of blood. It's like blood rained upside down. Onto her.
"OH HELL NO!!!" Though she keeps an eye on the woman's corpse, just in case, Iri begins to fervently brush at the blood with her only wrapped hand. "This would be why I've never practiced that. Ew, ew, ew. Serves her right, though, trespassing and then trying to kill an innocent kid. Speaking of... Dalcon!? You okay?"

Seeing someone's head get asploded is somewhat of a traumatic experience, and it hits Dalcon rather hard. He leans over and gags a bit just from the sight alone, not to mention the fact that...well, let's just say he needs a shower, badly. In shock, his eyes are wide, but are a sort of muted green.

Daizing's barrier fell. It would appear as though he had fallen asleep during the commotion.
"Ji-wha?"
He grunted, rubbing his eyes and moving over to the corpse. Drinking from an Iron Canteen.
"I'm gonna go report this to Kaimen."
Flipping through a few handseals, there was a flash of lightning, and he was gone.

In front of the dojo doors a large bag full of items from the dojo that was destroyed before this one was built.
"ATTENTION ALL GNA MEMBERS." The Loud intercom spoke.
"DUE TO RECENT CIRCUMSTANCES I REALIZE WE ARE NOW IN PRESSING TIMES. I KNOW, IMPLORE YOU ALL TO HEED THIS ADVICE, AND TAKE ON YOUR DUTY TO DEFEND THE ACADEMY. SOON, YOU WILL BE CALLED TO COMPLETE CERTAIN MISSIONS, PERTAINING TO THE DEFENSE OF YOUR HOME, AND YOUR LIVES. THIS IS KAIMEN, OVER AND OUT."

Iri gives Daizing's antics a roll of her eyes. Then she startles at the sound of the loud speaker. She flaps her wings, hovering in mid air as she listens. That's not good news. Not good at all. And what's with the bag next to the dojo door? Wasn't there a moment ago, was it?
For now, Iri's biggest concern is the kid. She glides over to him and alights so she's still facing the direction of Daedalus' corpse. Even now, she doesn't let it out of her sight. Still watching it, Iri sidles over and stands next to the boy. One wing comes around to hug his shoulders while she puts a comforting hand on his head.
"I did say this wasn't a good idea, Dalcon. I had planned to use that tactic all along. I didn't want to expose you to something that violent, but it was the only way I could compete with her speed. Come on, there are showers in the Kaze Dojo." She stands up, encouraging him to move with her via nudges of her extended wing. "Do you have any other clothes with you?"
As she's speaking, Iri reaches out for someone familiar. Tier is her target. "Hey, ol' yellow eye? You got a moment? Another corpse is lying in front of the Kaze Dojo. It's that woman with the Rai and razor blade wings. You gonna come examine her?" She doesn't expect a telepathic response. She never gets one. In fact, she's not sure if Tier receives the messages. She might have to rely on the man's habit of being almost everywhere and anywhere at once.
Jin is standing at the door, examining the strange package that has appeared. He looks up at Iri. "If ya want, Ah can keep an eye on the wench while you 'n yer friend clean up. But, uh, what should Ah do 'bout her?"
"Don't worry about her, Jin. Just stand watch and holler if anything changes. I want to make sure she doesn't have any other tricks. Though I don't know how she could."
Iri looks back at Dalcon, patiently awaiting an answer or movement.

As things settle down, the blades rattle a bit, moving closer to the corpse, and after a moment, the headless body stands up, wings shivering as the black ooze begins to pool at her exposed chest cavity. It suddenly stops as an eerie blue glowing circle appears on her stomach, under her clothing. Than, in a split second and with a brilliant display of lightning, she is gone, blades, body, and all.

Dalcon instinctively nuzzles against the feathers. "Mom," he says with an almost comforted sigh, and begins to comply and head toward the showers- that is until decapitated body starts moving. At that, he completely shuts down.

Iri blinks. She blinks again. The first blink is in response to Dalcon. Did he just call me "mom"!? The second is in response to Daedalus. Iri had just kind of stared as a corpse stood up, and disappeared in a flash of lightning. Freakiest thing Iri's seen in her entire life. She didn't shut down like Dalcon. She just assumed one of her Stonewall Jackson expressions.
Once again, she makes an attempt at contacting Tier. "Eh, never mind. The body kind, well, it went away. I had decapitated her, and she stood up, and the lightning took her away. Holy sh*t, man."
Iri's still looking at the spot in which Daedalus had been when she says to Dalcon, "Next time, kid, provided there is a next time, I'll go for the wings. Apparently the head wasn't good enough for her."
She finally turns her head to look at Dalcon. "Kid? You okay?"
In the doorway, Jin is standing perfectly still. Did he really just see a headless corpse stand up and teleport of some kind? Messed up. Really messed up. Bad a**, yes, but really messed up.
Jin picks up the bag and takes it to the staircase to set it down next to the steps. Iri can retrieve it later. For now, he feels like taking a nap. A long nap. And so, he makes his way to his dorm room to do so.

From the earth near the far side of the Kaze building, Kaimen rose out of the ground, helmet on straight he began walking slowly surveying the damage.

"Hm? Haven't seen him before."
Kaimen mutters in the distance, still taking his mental notes and getting closer towards the child, and what appears to be Iri, in his mind, though it was common for people to have wings now, apparently. Some new fashion trend he assumed.

Iri winces at the kid's state. Hopefully, he'll be able to take this experience and learn from it, mentally steel himself thanks to it. On the other hand, it might just scar him for life.
The woman walks to his left side and kneels down next to him. Her right wing wraps around him in another hug, while her left comes up to shield the both of them from the rain. With her right hand, her thankfully uninjured hand, she starts to wipe away at the black blood she can reach on him. It gets soaked up into the cloth wrap covering her arm.
"It's okay, kid, it's okay. She's gone and for now it's over." Iri keeps her voice soft and comforting.
Movement catches her eye. Iri looks over to see Kaimen approaching. She gives the man a short nod and looks back to the boy. Iri continues to mutter reassurances as she projects her thoughts to Kaimen.
"I hope you can repair the blade on the Kaze Dojo, 'cause I don't have a clue as to how to maintenance that kind of thing." She's sure that isn't why Kai is here, but it's the best way she could think to start a conversation.

~Sure I'll fix it. But I need to know what just happened here. I got a bit of a report from Daizing. Something about children and headless bodies.~
He Projected back, flipping through some handseals.

"I appreciate it. Anyway... You've got enough intelligence, I'm sure you heard about that strange, black-skinned woman that showed up at the Main Dojo a while back? She almost killed an innocent kid that day, this same one. Well, she came back to challenge me. She's the one that tore up my Dojo and started the thankfully dying grassfire. I managed to decapitate her and she fell down dead. At least, I thought she was dead. b***h stood up and disappeared in a flash of lightning, weapons and all. I don't know if she consciously left or if someone else possibly transported her body to protect her secrets. Her name's Daedalus. Anything else you need to know?"
Iri doesn't move or show any outward sign that she's communicating with Kaimen. All of her attention appears to be on Dalcon. She's still muttering to him, though her voice is getting quieter. If he's not right after this, Iri won't let herself live it down. She should have ordered Jin to take the kid away. Just because Iri used negative experiences in positive ways as a kid doesn't mean all kids can.
