Syn wiped the bit of bug juice off of her robes and watched the swarm of insects as they flew by. She chuckled as they passed them, and began rocking her feet again, trying to swing the harness a little more.

The two fliers blast through the swarm of insects. Iri thinks it strange that the swarm had appeared at just that time, but doesn't think much else of it. Besides, the insects can't hurt them in the sphere of flowing air.
Concentrating on their course, Iri continues to soar toward the quickly approaching Kaze Dojo. As she does, she allows Syn's swing a little more movement. Let the kid have fun!

The Main Dojo is now visible through the trees. Jin keeps up his steady jog, not having broke a sweat or even breathing hard. He had stopped whistling, but the sound of his clanking armor still resonates through the woods.
Eventually, the half dragon slows to a stop. He's not sure if he'll get a warm welcome from the inhabitants of the dojo. It's not like he was given an invitation, after all. And so, Jin stops to observe the clearing in which the building stands. He can see two other buildings near by, but they are obviously used for separate things. Jin sees people, but isn't sure if they see him.
Willing to be patient, Jin decides to observe a little while longer. The armored man walks to a nearby tree and climbs/leaps into its boughs. He seats himself in a crook, makes himself comfortable, and keeps watching.

Tier took several steps out onto the lawn of the Main Dojo. He watched the two women leave by air as his single yellow eye was scanning the treeline for lifeforms.
Tier's eye picked up something seated in the trees. It's chakra readings were different than a human's. He started to move closer to the tree.

(( Don't feel like switching accounts at the moment. XD ))
Jin had had his eye on Tier. Not that he had anticipated the man would notice him. He had just thought the man to be... Well, he looked odd. Almost like something he would see out of a Sci-Fi flick. The single eye was certainly strange. Was the man a cyclops of some sort, or was that just a mask?
Well, he's seen me. Might as well get this o'er with.
Jin pushes off and lands in a crouch on the beaten dirt path. He straightens up and looks Tier in the eye. As he usually deals with people, he gives a friendly smile and bows a little from his waist.
"Sorry if I be botherin' ya. A friend told me 'bout the place. If I'm tresspassin' just let me know 'n I'll be on my way. The name's Jin, by the way. Jin Ryu."

Tier observed the man's strange way of speaking. It had an accent to it or something. He stopped walking towards the man.
"Who's your friend who told you about this place?"
Tier suddenly half turned before turning back to Jin with a fist raised into the air.
"WAS IT A MAN IN A MASK WITH RED HAIR?" He accused quickly.

Jin's blue eyes widen at Tier's unexpected antics, his eyebrows shooting up to his black headband. The man's a little taken aback. He doesn't put his hand on his sword or anything. He just looks surprised.
"Eh, no. Nothin' but an ol' nin, by the name o' Shishi Koto. He's retired now. Did nah train here or anythin'. He had heard 'bout the academy, happened upon it once on his travels, 'n committed the place to memory. He told me I might find meself a good teacher here."

"Really, we ought to be kinder to guests, don't you think?" Seph leaned forward, hopping off the roof and landing in front of the stairs on the lawn, flicking his cigarette away. "If you're looking for good teachers, you've come to the right place." He crossed his arms and nodded his head to the side at both men in front of him.

"Eheheh, well that's good to know!" Jin's laughter is a little nervous. He hadn't noticed anyone on the roof. At least this bloke seems to be a bit more hospitable.
Jin gives another bow, this one intended for Seph. "Jin Ryu! Pleasure to meet ya, I'm sure!"
One hand reaches up to scratch the base of one white antler. A nervous habit.

Tier pretended to stroke an invisible beard below his mask as he considered Seph's advice.
"Tier noticed you have an accent. You're not from this country are you?" He addressed to Jin.

Seph smiled politely and returned the bow. "The pleasure is mine. My name is Sephiroth Erik Giddeon Mousser. Everyone around here just calls me Seph." He strolled forward until he was a respectable, but manageable, distance away from Tier and Jin both, then gave a grin. "Welcome to the Gaian Ninja Academy!"

Jin's features break out into a pleasant grin. Now things are starting to look a little brighter!
"The welcome be very much appreciated! 'N you'd be right, I'm a foreigner. Irish father, Japanese dragon for a mother. Spent most o' me life wit' me dad, so I sound jus' like the ol' man."
Jin looks toward the dojo, interest in his eyes. "So, got a question for ya. Where would a man find lodgings? Been travelin' for weeks to get here, 'n I'm wiped."

Bet the bed broke several times."
Tier mocked to himself in a mumbled level of voice. He cleared his voice with a loud "AHEM" before putting up a hand towards Jin.
"Before we take you in. Do you plan on becoming a student of the Academy? THROUGH BETTER OR WORSE!"

"Oooh, that ain't right, man." Jin twists a pinky finger in his ear and winces. "Really wish I hadn't o' heard that. Ugh! Just... No, not gonna comment. And for the record, me ma does shape-shift into a human!"
Jin gives his head a good shake before looking back at Tier. "And yes, I do intend to sign meself up. I got the short end o' the stick when it came to usin' the elemental stuff. You know the legends o' dragons controllin' fire, water, storms, 'n what not? So far, I've only been able to make the wind pick up a wee bit, 'n that's it. So, I figure I should start with controllin' the wind, right? 'N Shishi told me this would be the place to start."

"!!!" Tier was surprised at how good this man's hearing was.
Tier lowers the hand to Jin and gives a short nod. "Sounds promising, then." He turns around to the Main Dojo and points out the different trams that leave to different Dojo's.
"Either now or later, after you've rested, you have to take the tram that leads to the Kaze Dojo."
Tier looked over to Seph. "Tier isn't sure where the rooms are in the Main Dojo to rest in, but maybe "Seph" would be able to help with that. Fufufu."
