Stroud lifted her head as she stood up from her desk. It was rare for a student to come to her during class hours. She opened the door to find Maya. "Maya? What are you doing here? She asked. "Don't you have class right now?"
Ryu sat inside his father's office. He was looking through a book about Lycan behavior patterns. It gave little help except about those who can channel their aggression into a change at will. Nothing new to Ryu so he continued to rummage through his father's books.

Maya bit her lip " yes...but thats not the point." Maya said as she walked by her into her office and sat at the chair intended for 'guests' in front of her desk. " We need to talk." Maya said simply. " Its about the Lycan..er...would you call it an uprising, or a brawl, or an escape attempt either ways, its about the Lycans." Maya said simply.

Stroud strolled to the edge of her desk and sat upon the edge in front of Maya. "You can tell me anything." She said as she looked at Maya with concern on if Maya was there when the incident began to unfold.
Nite walked out of class as the bell rang with a grin upon his face. He hadn't felt this good since he first became a Hunter. Life was simple then but as time goes on everything gets tougher. He saw Xaivier and approached him. "What's going on pretty boy?" He said with a smile on his face knowing full well that Xaivier was part of the Lycan incident.

Xaivier grinned. "What? I know you were there, but I'm just a good person and won't tell. But if worst comes to worst They'll know." He smirked knowing that would get to him some. "And if you plan on fighting Ashliegh, know that you'll have to be better than ever." He said reading his mind.

Maya looked at her and smiled. " I was in the twilight dorms and as soon as the sun went down I left. I heard howling so I went to check it out. It was the Lycans and Ryu was trying to stop them, all by himself. I couldn;t let them hurt him so I went out to do what I could from a safe aerial distance." Maya didn't want to get in trouble for flying so she spun it a different way. " Ashleigh got there a few minutes before me." Maya said simply. " But I would hit them with logs hoping they would get surprised and change back or become unconcious, and the ones that did change backs I...um used my powers to move to safety." Maya said simply as she looked at the floor.

Nite shook his head. "Are you sure it's my mind you're reading telepath?" He said as another Nite appeared to Xaivier's right then to his left. "Don't threaten me." All of them said at once they began to walk encircle Xaivier. "You think I'm worried about the new little Lycan girl. You don't even know me. No one does here and don't think for a minute that your little telepathy will have an effect on me because it won't. So think all you like try to read my mind. You'll only get what you want to hear every time." The three Nites stopped walking then fell into the shadows disappearing form Xaivier's view.
Stroud put her hand on her chin as she continued to listen to Maya's explanation of what had happened. "But you didn't see how Ryu or the Lycans got there did you?" she said as she raised her brow. "I believe you but it still doesn't help in the investigation. I already have a couple of students that saw you go there as well as Ashleigh. So why are you really here?" She asked.

Maya sighed " two reasons. Unlike most guards Nite especially, Ryu takes his job seriously. I've heard his dads away and left Ryu in charge something like this will kill Ryu, he's gonna think he let him down. Ryu is dependable and approachable and will always help you when you need it. And I just thaught I'd ask you could hear the howling form the Twilight dorms where Nite was stationed why didn't he help? Oh and Ryu gave me this and told me to come to you." Maya said as she handed Stroud the slip.

Xaivier shook his head. "You know that I'm reading your mind. What else is it? I know that your planning on something, but I don't know what. And no I don't think you give a crap out the Lycan. You just need someone you can toy around with. Which is a fraction of the school."He grinned. Xaivier loved messing around with Nite. It was quite entertaining. "And I only warn you of Ashliegh because I've fought her four times before the incident today. She wasn't as good, but still better than me." He grinned. Then noticed there weren't as many Nite's and kept listening ot the sounds around him, but stayed calm. He knew he wouldnt die either way, just maybe cut a few times. "And if you want proof. Heres a scar from five years ago from her." he said unraviling a bloody white bandage form his arm and once completely off was a scar stretfhing for his wrist to his elbow. It was dark red. Some people find it gross, but it's smooth and has formed with his skin. he pulled the bandage in the pocket of his cloak and loked back to Nite. "This is what happens if you get over confident with her. She still has some trouble controling herself, but its more or less not good.= nor bad if that has made any sense." He explained.

Stroud sighed as she took the paper. "We'll get to this but first let me tell you a story. You seem to underestimate some people dear. Ryu is in fact the Headmaster's son but you won't believe how much he has been through already. Nite, on the other hand, I can[ understand. He is a bit of a trouble maker and a terrible Hunter but no one really knows him." She said as she walked around her desk and pulled a book from a drawer. She pulls a couple of photos of out it. "Look at these pictures. It's from six years ago." One picture had Ryu, at age 12, standing next to an elderly man while the other was of Nite and a young girl holding hands both of them smiling.. "The old man in this picture was Ryu's master. Although I can't speak of what actually happened to him. The other is of Nite and a girl named, Lite." She laughed lightly. "I know the irony of it right? Anyways all this had happened when the school had first started. All we know what had happened to Ryu is that one day he and his master had left on a trip but when it was time for them to return the found Ryu curled up on the mountain covered in blood holding the katana you see him use today. As for Nite, he wasn't always a menace. He was once very different. Lite always kept him at peace calm but Nite didn't know that she was dying from a heart condition. When she did die though I ask him personally if I could help but all he said was 'Humans live and die this isn't any different'. I was shocked he just walked away like it never happened."
Ryu sat at his father's desk thinking on what needs to be done. He exited the office locking the door behind him. He proceeded towards the Day dorm gates. When he got there a few Hunters were there looking at him. He ignored them and began doing his own investigation around the gate.
Nite wanted to just sock this guy one but he knew it wouldn't solve anything. "So you're telling me to be afraid of her AND you?" He said as he sat in the shadows. He scoffed. "You're just like everyone else here. Things'll never change around here."

Maya's eyes widened as she thaught of the terrible story of Nite's life, and Ryu's. " So, he's lost someone, havn't we all, it is no excuse to let him stay and terrorise everyone living and dead. Ryu has moved on from what I'm sure was a horrifying experience, why can't Nite. Everyone has pain, we all lose people we love I did, and I'm still here, I'm still okay, why isn't he." Maya said as she shook her head. " What happened to him is terrible but he hurts people, he prays on their inadequacies and their insecurities and thats not okay, no matter how many times he's loved and lost." Maya was on the brink of tears at the similarities between their lives but couldn't let the empathy she felt blind her to who he was NOW.

Stroud put the photos back into the book and the book back into her desk. "I know your right dear but I just wanted to let you know that his story. Not many do but I believe the day Lite died was the day Nite gave in to his darkness. As for Ryu, I think he keeps it locked away after all his master was a vampire." She said as she wrote something down on the paper Ryu gave Maya. She handed it back to Maya. "Maybe that's why he tends to keep his distance from them. No offense darling." Stroud got up and lead Maya back to the door. "Now your escort will be ready when you are. Now get to class." She put Maya out in the hall and closed the door.
After looking at the gate for sometime, Ryu proceeded to the rooftop of the Day Boy's Dorm. As he looked down from the roof he could hear the screams echo through his mind. He snapped out of it and looked to the stars. "Heh must be getting tired after being awake for so long." He said rubbing his eyes. He heard a voice in the stairwell leading to the roof. Probably just making sure he didn't do anything stupid or anything.

Nite scowled at Xaivier as he walked off. Tch, whatever." He said to himself. "It just a few days away from the Full Moon Watch. I look forward to watching him lose control of himself." Nite walked towards his next class. He walked in the building catching a few glances from the other Hunters who must have overheard Xaivier's accusation. Nite ignored them and walked into his class taking a seat. He looked over to the empty seat where Maya sits. "Concerned, aren't we?" He mumbled.

Maya looked at the floor. She needed to hear this from him if he just didn't like her that was fine but because of her species that was just wrong, and it went against everything she thaught he was. Maya flew to the day dorms to find him she landed in front of him and did not look happy. " why don't you like me Ryu. Tell me right now. Is it because I'm a vampire? I heard that you didn't like vampires right there beneath the poor human boy right?" Maya said angrily. She didn't like what she was either but she tried to fight against her nature as much as possible and she was still a good person.

Ryu kept his gaze upon the sky regardless of Maya's demands. "Beautiful aren't they." He said. "Worlds that seems so close yet so far away. Much like the reality that is." He spoke as if he couldn't answer her. How could he? No one could understand what had happened six years ago not even his father. He mustered up what he could. "I hate no one. Regardless of who they are. People just talk when they don't understand thus rumors make the truth misleading to others." He turned to face her and smiled. "What I'm trying to say is that I like you, Maya. I wouldn't want you to change. You are you no matter what race you may be." He walked over to her and placed his hand on her shoulder. "So don't be mad. No one knows much about me but you see me for who I am now not for who I used to be."
