Unfortunately I'm the oldest in my group of friends, so even after I hit 21 we couldn't do a lot because none of them were. That's been a few years though, so options are better now.

You think vegas is a boring place? s**t. I live in a small hick town in Alabama, chalk full of nothing but Churches and Banks. And it has the world's ONLY dry Oktoberfest. And it gets worse, there's absolutely nowhere for the local youth to hangout on the weekends, except for the parking lot of Wal-Mart and a park nearby. My town is so boring that we have a fairly low crime rate. Nothing ever happens here. Vegas is better than this place, no doubt.

And it gets worse, there's absolutely nowhere for the local youth to hangout on the weekends, except for the parking lot of Wal-Mart and a park nearby. My town is so boring that we have a fairly low crime rate. Nothing ever happens here. Vegas is better than this place, no doubt. It's not "boring" per se. It just sucks to be here when you're underage because you are surrounded by so many things you can't do. Trust me, I know the kind of town you mean. Right now I live in a small town in Ohio, where the teenagers hang out in the Taco Bell parking lot.

Someone stole a couple flower pots off of this old woman's porch, and it was in the paper for months. So if you dont like shooting guns and blowing s**t up in very dangerous ways, you might as well kill yourself here.

Therefore... there's nothing to do anywhere... I mean we get the occasional local metal band 15 mins into town.... but that's seldom. The best band I've seen at the civic center... is Disturbed... we had Pantera here once before I lived here... but they got banned from ever coming back...

The last big band to play in my town was Slipknot, and they got banned from performing in Alabama, ever again. evil

I think the best concert I ever went to around here was a Rush concert when I was a five month old fetus.

Or I can drive about an hour and a half to Cleveland, but there's nowhere to see a band closer than that.

I went to Fargo for my last one D: it's like a 2-3 hour drive. It was for Mudvayne though, so it was worth it.
