((Hi everyone, sorry for not posting much atm, my exams are actually killing me sad ))
Finishing her sandwich, Mai crumpled the plastic and paper container in her left hand and grabbed her bag with her right. She stood, pushing her chair back into place, and headed for the door which led outside, paushing only to throw her rubbish in the bin.
Her eyes met the brightness of the afternoon sunlight once more as soon as she stepped outside and began to walk back along the path she had come. Glancing around she saw numerous students in their groups, and fiddled nervously with her bag. Swallowing her nerves, she approached the two closest to her, a girl on the grass with a boy crouching next to her.
"Um hi, I'm Mai. Can I join you?"

"Our families are kinda connected." Annabella said, speaking of Kotatsu. She signed at the end of the sentence. Just thinking about him made her tired. "Anywho, I don't know about learning an instrument. I'm not good with instruments. I'm quite clumsy. I think cooking may be the only thing I'm good at. It's my trademark. I taught myself how to when I was very young. Enough about myself." Annabella accepted the map from Kukura. "I think I may need help after all. I'm not good at maps either."
((Sorry I took so long. I'm always busy on the weekends. I'm doing this at a party right now sweatdrop ))

Kukura shook his head a little. Family means less than you think.. He thought. "Guitar is easy. I mean, if someone like me can play, I figure you could, too." He sighed.
Kukura then took a moment to glance over the map. It was a cheap black line copy of a school map, probably printed by the hundreds for the new students. He looked at the different rooms on each floor, and then located the Cafeteria and his eyes mazed the path back to their room, remembering the way.
Kukura then pocketed the map again, pushing his guitar case (which he'd set on it's side and sat down on to inspect the map) against to wall to keep it out of the way before he followed Annabella out the door. "It's not that far" He said, aiming for the door leading out of the dorm building and into the grassy quad.

((wow people are joining Chi there xDD)) Chi saw the boy go next to her. "Uhm, ok. Hi, my name's Chi. What's yours?" The boy said his name was Ishio. "Ohh okay. Hi Ishio." Chi said with a smile. Then a girl went near both of them and asked if she could join in. Chi nodded and said, "My name's Chi, nice to meet you Mai." she said, smiling to Mai. Now she has two people with her, and they were having a great time together. Then Chi looked up the clouds again, and remembered the question she asked herself a while ago. She turned to Mai and Ishio and asked, "Uhm, what are we gonna do here besides sitting on the grass? I'm feeling a little lost ever since I got here." Chi said, feeling a bit nervous and thinking, I feel uneasy asking that question... ((@deimon: nothin much. you?))

(('Bout the same. haha. Nothin' interesting's been happening lately. =P Wanna party...))
Ishio gaze turned towards Mai as she appeared and spoke. "Hello, Mai. The name's Ishio Kawazaki." He beamed up at her then looked between the two girls. "It's nice to be around such cute girls." He said, being a little flirtatious. He sat down the grass and looked up as Chi was doing. "Hmm... Not much to do, huh?" He remained silent for a few minutes, trying to think of something to do. He could skateboard or play the guitar, but he doubted the girls felt like watching him do something and he didn't want them to be bored if they were going to be hanging out. He lied down in the grass and groaned. "So boring... Oh well, atleast there are some cute girls to be around."

Mai grinned back, blushing slightly at Ishio's open manner, and knelt down in the grass beside both of them, "Thank you, it's nice to meet you too." Placing her bag behind her head, Mai lay down too and picked at some random blades of grass with her left hand. "Hmm, I suppose there's not much to do on the first day aside from getting used to the school... What classes have you two chosen?"

Ishio placed his arm over his eyes and sighed. "A bunch of stuff. Atleast it's easy." He reached down and into his pocket, removing the sheet with his classes and other info on it. He handed it to Mai. "Got any classes with me?" He yawned as he waited for a response. The darkness from having his eyes covered and the dullness of the day was starting to get to him. He sat up and looked at the two girls for a moment. "I'll be right back." A little bit later, he returned with a notebook and pencil. He'd also brought his guitar with just incase. He laughed a little, thinking it was probably a little odd, but he didn't mind it. He took his seat next to Chi and Mai and began plucking the strings of his guitar, not playing any specific melody.

Mai took the offered sheet, scanning down to the class list at the bottom. "Depending on how they split us up, we could have quite a few together; we've both chosen Maths, Science, Lit, Art and English." she replied, returning the paper to Ishio as he got up to leave. She sat up and stretched, silently wishing her car journey earlier had been a little more comfortable as she propped her bag up to lean against instead. "Cool guitar." she commented on Ishio's return, lifting her hand to her forehead to shield her eyes from the sunlight behind him.

Ishio stopped playing the guitar as she made a comment on it. He turned his head and smiled once again. "Thanks, beautiful!" He chuckled with his lips closed and he shut his eyes for a moment. "I'm trying to start a band, but I'm a little short on members, ya know? Do you know how to play?" He asked her, figuring he already knew the answer, but wanted to make sure he was correct.

Mai gave a sheepish grin and shook her head, "I can't play very well, the closest I've ever come to being good at something musical is when my parents made me join the choir at my last school. I prefer writing and drawing, although I'm probably not too good at those either." she giggled. "I can keep my eyes open for anyone else here that plays though, if you like?"

Ishio shook his head and laughed a little. "No, it's fine. Thank you though." He set the guitar down, leaning the neck against his leg. He grabbed the notebook and pencil and began drawing. Drawing wasn't his specialty, but he was fairly good at it. He took a quick glance at Mai and then stared at the paper until he was finished. He ripped the sketch out and placed it at his side, then went back to the paper and made another sketch. He yawned once he had finished and handed one to Chi and the other to Mai. The papers had both of the girls sketched on to them. So he handed Mai her picture and Chi her's. "Happy birthday!" He said warmly, knowing very well that it wasn't either of their birthdays.

Mai glanced questioningly as Ishio began to sketch, but soon realised what he was doing. With another smile, she pulled her bag around and fished inside to retrieve her book, and began to read until he finished.
"Wow, this is really good," she grinned as Ishio handed her her picture, adding jokingly "And just what I wanted!" Folding the drawing neatly, she placed it between the pages of her own notebook, containing mainly short stories with a few character sketches. An unanswered thought from earlier popped into her head, and she turned back to Ishio and Chi, "Do you know if we have a curfew here?"

Ishio lied back down on to the grass, placing his hands under his head. He glanced over at Mai and rolled his shoulders to shrug. "I'm betting we do. It is a school after all." He closed his eyes for a moment, looking as if he'd fallen asleep. "About an earlier statement." He opened one eye and looked at Mai. "I'm sure you are an excellent writer and artist. You should let me read some of your work sometime." He winked and smiled before closing his eye once again and spacing out.

Mai sighed, "I suppose... here's hoping it's about one in the morning then." she joked. As a breeze ruffled the pages of her books, She she shuffled slightly, before opening her notebook to her current story and continuing with it. "Maybe, you can read this on when I've finished it if you want to be the judge." she replied with a grin.

"That'd be cool." he replied, following it up with yet another yawn. It had been interesting meeting these girls, but it sucked that there was nothing to do. "I wanna go off campus..." He sighed and sat up again. He looked between the two girls then to the sky as he thought about something. It would be nice if they could go off campus for a bit, but he wasn't sure if they wanted them to leave for the time being. If it came down to it, he'd leave regardless and ask Mai and Chi if they'd like to go with. He waited though. Not wanting to hasten things and maybe miss out on something at the school. "So, where are your dorms at? I've got room 5. Seems I'm a~ll alone too. Boring, yet good."
