"Poe was more of the Romantic time period; it's an odd time for the arts in general in American history," she commented idly, mind drifting to thoughts of American poets. "Well. A mix of the Gothic and Romantic ideas, really. He's great at suspense, I'll give you that, but I like a wider variety to talents. Besides that, everyone and their mom claims Poe as their favorite." She snorted slightly at this, shaking her head.
"Shakespeare, though. With how many pieces he wrote- really versatile, too, you gotta give him that- the power of his work is just reinforced by the idea of how great all of it is. Great, believable characters, too. Lady Macbeth was always a personal favorite, though I'm fond of Iago and Mercutio as well. There's just a lot of depth and development in them- and you really don't see that in Poe's works." She paused a moment, frowning.
"Well. Not that Poe wrote plays, mind you, but there's still a romantic depth in Shakespeare's work that I don't feel like Poe encompassed. Without going into the creepy zone, anyway." Shrugging, she turned back to Ariel and flashed her a smile.
"He did give us the Detective Story genre, though. I'll give him that.'

Yes, she was still hungry.
She went ahead and walked up to the...giant and held up her plate, turned on the tear ducts, and pouted. Usually she'd go for a more cutthroat approach, but the time seemed right for some acting.
"Please sir, may i have some mor'?" she asked in the most pathetic voice she could muster. A british accent didn't hurt either.

The large audio shook his head in disbelief at the intern, shamelessly swallowing hard. Torturing campers? Fine. Cleaning that sort of stuff? Not fine. He watched the camper eat only half the pancake, then turned his attention away as a camper came up to the counter.
At her request, Chef snorted and flipped a couple now room-temperature pancakes onto her plate. "Knock yo'self out," he said, shrugging. "Seconds are free as long as there's leftovers." Since all leftovers go to the interns... heh. It'd be interesting to see if they knew that or not, gathering at his back door like a pack of well-trained strays. Ah well, he'll haveta see later.

Lucifer at settled at the table with the least number of campers, snort, as if he wanted to sit with those losers. Oddly enough he wasn't bothered by the events around him, or the smell that had filled the room, lingering even as one of the 'interns' cleaned the mess. Heh, simple match lite under his nose, ah, the smell of sulfer, problem solved.
His nose twitched, taking a bite of a pancake. God, that was the worst pancake he'd ever eaten, no wonder people were throwing up. Whatever, it was free and edible (in the loosest sense of the word), so who cares.
Hmmm, do pancakes burn? Heh, well let's find out shall we.
A smirk, Lucifer searched in his pocket for his lighter. Ke ke ke, he held the lighter to a pancake, flick, the orange flame caught the pancake, quickly spreading the others on his plate, though not as quickly as he would have liked, next time he'd have to use lighter fluid. Ah, but still, such a beautiful sight.

Somewhere in between drifting in and out of conversations and noticing the vomiting girl (Elli only clucked her tongue), the aspiring pirate girl finally got her own plate of pancakes.
"Much obliged." She thanked. Plate in paw, she took a second to deliberate on where to sit as the other Audios she initially intended to eat with had scattered. She blinked, however, at the sight of a camper burning his food.
She found herself gravitating towards him, if only to ask "Ye likes yer pancakes well done?"

The past events had been missed by Noel who had been scanning the tabliods and latest fashions. What had been on his mind was a new suit, ahhh , now that would be something.
It wasn't till he looked up did he notice an intern cleaning someones puke and Carmen missing and someone burning a pancake...
The brit mod quickly dived back into his fashion adds wandering if he really was all that oblivious. Quickly, that thought dessolved as he eyed a new pair of shoes and tie. Ties were the god of accessories, they could be just about anything.

After seeing her old conversation had pretty much died, Helen decided to take a risk and get some pancakes. Walking up to the counter, she started having second thoughts. The chef looked mean. Not just a little grouchy, but full on 'Im going to eat you' mean. Taking a deep reath she picked up a plate and pushed in front of the big guy.
Taking her pancakes, which looked oddly like they spent some quality time with the floor, she cast about the room. It looked like she'd missed some... interesting events in her time reding. Yeah, that's what she was doing. She noticed the pirate girl from earlier and saw she was headed for the guy burning his pancake. Interested, she made her way over to him, comparing him to multiple Videogame baddies in her her head the way over.

Helena sat back down at her table, which was now clean. Cotton was still nowhere to be found and the table was empty, save for her. She looked to the table and scratched it a little with her nail. She felt bad for whoever had to clean it. It should have been her. She made a mental note to apologize to that person, and the chef for throwing up. She mustered up some courage to speak to the scary man and stood up. Turning, she walked over to the counter where the chef stood behind. "Umm...Excuse me, sir" she said, nervously.

Lucifer looked up, yellow eyes peering over the rim of his sunglasses. Well done? Yeah, sure, if by well done one meant burnt to a crisp of nothing but ashes and glowing embers. Ah, yes, that was one way of putting it.
"You could say that."
His maw parted in a smirk, a sinister, eerie gaze. A look that may have worried the staff, watching him, wondering what dark secrets lay in that gaze, oh the plotting that must have been going through his mind.
Hmmm...interesting. Why on earth would anyone dress like that? Wasn't it hot? (though not as hot as -he- could have made it, ke ke)
"Nice tat."
He indicated her tail as he spoke. Skull and crossbones, he liked that, though he would have preferred flames.

Elli canted her head and countered the other teen's eerie gaze with a confident grin. Her tail swished behind her, obviously pleased, "Thanks, thought it up meself. And I gotta say the one ye have is mighty wicked." She gestured to the flames on his tail.
"The name's Eliazuli," she began, "But I find Elli rolls of me tongue better." She sat down with a chair between them and lowered her tray onto the table.
From the corner of her eye she noticed Helen and motioned her tail at the other girl, if only to acknowledge her approach.

Billy almost jumped when he saw some pancakes on fire. Would that spread? He sighed. Too many surprises. He quickly got out some notebook paper and a pen and started to write it down. Perhaps he could use this later in a campaign? Just when he put his pen away, it exploded, like they usually did. He sighed and started to look for a napkin. "Anyone have a few napkins I can use?" He asked out loud, taking off his vest and taking out all the pens and other items inside of it.

After all that had just gone on, Luna decided that she was no longer hungry for pancakes. Using a paw to shove her plate away she groaned. When a boy asked for napkins, she held hers up. "Here, I got some." she said, placing elbow on the table and her chin in her free paw. she swished her tail irritably. When was the fun going to start?

Billy nodded. "Thanks." And started to wipe up the ink mess. It looked like a squid had nested there and then suddenly inked. He'd have to get a new pen. He put the notes into his bag, making sure not to get any ink on them.
After cleaning most of them up, and hoping that the scary chef didn't care about the stain, he looked at the girl. Wait, was it that girl who had been flirting and such? Well that might not matter much. Since she seemed to look bored he decided to try to start a conversation. "Um, I'm Billy. What's your name?" Sure, he may be totally obsessed with D & D but that didn't mean he couldn't converse with people/potential D & D players.

Luna eyed the boy from the corner of her eyes. She hadn't met him yet, and he was kind of adorable looking. "Luna Marie, but you can call me just Luna." she said with a half a** grin. "You don't know when the fun will start by chance do ya?" she asked, turning a hopeful glance in his direction. Taking a paw, she swiped a few strands of her brightly colored hair from her nose and stifled a sneeze.

"Um... I think it's when all of the campers arrived. I think I heard that there might be some more but I'm not sure. And i think we also have to wait for the host to tell us some more things." He replied looking thoughtful.
((Sorry if I'm totally wrong about other campers being mentioned out loud, Don't want him to act like he knows everything but I though it had been said...))
