Raye was even more attracted to the girl now then he was before. She shared his love for all forms of life; people like that were so rare.
"I... I never thought of that before." he said, "He doesn't talk much about himself... Now I wonder why..."
He grabbed Zoey's hand.
"Would you come with me to find Yemits?" he asked, blushing, "I'd really like it if you'd come."

Zoey looked curiously at Raye's hand holding hers. "Okay; I'll come, just a second," she broke away from Raye and put her dry belongings back into her bag. She then mounted Zaccheus. "Come on!" She said, motioning for Raye to follow.
Zaccheus bellowed.

Raye nodded his head and ran after the blue... thing... following the trail that Yemits left behind.
As for his attraction, however, he began to lose hope. It was obvious that Zoey most likely probably maybe didn't share the same feelings for him. Sorta kinda.

Raye looked up at Zoey, still running after Zaccheus, who was still speeding after Yemits, who was still rocketing after... well, something. Her silky brown hair, gleaming in the sunlight complimented her beautiful face as she smiled at him. The boy grinned and reached out to her with his hand.

She took his hand in both of hers and, using all of her strength, yanked Raye up onto Zaccheus's back. Zaccheus ran akwardly, having only two arms and no legs, his tail whipping around above the ground, though only by inches.

Raye sat behind her, blushing deeply as they sped along the path toward the enraged Yemits.

"So what is Yemits on Earth? I mean, he IS your Guardian, right?" Zoey asked, her voice a bit jerky due to Zaccheus's awkward movements.

Raye stared at Zoey, his eyes fixed on her. He then came to his senses.
"W-What?" he stuttered, "Oh, uhh... he's a turtle on Earth. Cute... little turtle."

"I love turtles!" Zoey exclaimed. "Zaccheus, do you even know where we're going?"
Zaccheus halted. He let out a small squeak.
Zoey sighed. "Zaccheus..."

Raye pointed at the enormous rut in the ground where Yemits had dragged his tail as he moved.
"Just follow that little trench." he said.

Zaccheus squeaked once again, eyes only on the trail as he lurched forward.

After taking a short nap, Dante transported into Ether.
He found himself in the Sylstern Forest, as he always did.
"Hey, Sleipnir," Dante quasi-asked.
"Hmmm?" Sleipnir responded.
"Why is it that we always arrive in this forest, rather than anywhere else?" Dante asked the now-dragon.
"Well, this area holds the Focal Points of Ether, the only way to enter."
