our field show this year is Earth,Wind, and Fire's "Rock That/September" "Fantasy" and "In the Stone". it has gone well for our first 3 shows except for our guard still working on their routine crying . oh well doesnt affect the clarinet section (or the rest of the band for that matter) too much until competition. some people still dont have all the music down too but that wont be a problem for me next year when im section Leader lol

Grain Valley,MO's theme is Chain Reaction....( Equis and I'm Your Shadow.... or something....) 95 sets and 3-4 movements.... pretty boring since I just about go flying into the color guard on the jazz run part cause I'm moving way too fast and my instrument is a little on the heavy side

Ours is Out of the Darkness.
The gaurd ( heart ) is all evil and chasing the solo gaurd whos an angel. In the middle of movement 1 she changes into an evil person. Then at movement 2 we all change into angels and we just got into movement 3 so i have no idea what happens there.

i is here soup were doing Queen. Crazy Little Thing Called Love We Will Rock You Bohemian Rhapsody I'm insanely jealous. (Queen's one of my favorite bands xD) Ours is Summer Dances. Our opener involves something we (the Guard) calls the 'leprechaun dance' so you can only imagine. (It's very fun, though.)

We're actually doing two shows since U of A Band Day is really early this year. So we're doing Aerosmith for our main show. We're using the songs: Eat the Rich Cryin' Seet Emotion Walk This Way
And then for our second show we're doing The Pretender by Foo Fighters.

Our show is called Latin Sensations and consists of three songs:
Tour de Force (no, I did not mispell France) Open Wide (Every time my bd says the name, someone always has to yell "thats what he said") Flight of the Condor (It's not a boring as it sounds)
Ya, thats about it. I am one of two Drum Majors, so I conduct the first tune and play trumpet (woot woot) for the other two. The trumpet solo in the second one is so fun and hard, I almost wet myself when I heard it the first time. Those of you interested enough, you should defenitly look it up. (Although, I would suggest treading lightly if your looking up "Open Wide"....because, well...ya. Any regular search or website may give you....undesired results. I'll leave it at that.)

Wow, it's been a while since I was here. The MIchael Jackson tributes...I'll be numbering the ones that I see during shows.
Hmm... We're doing a show. About a garden. Of music. We always do some abstract concept like that. That's just how it works. Three movements.
Did someone say they were performing Laws of Motion (or something about Newton's Laws)? I think I remember the band who performed that a couple years back. They're pretty good.
