Mike nodded, then shrugged somewhat. "well, thats the key, i guess." his glance shifted to the Pikachu, then back, "still, your pokemon," he made a head gesture to the Pikachu, "are amazing to watch." he had no clue why he was rambling.

"Thanx...."
she said....
"but I do the same as every other trainer... just train hard i sopouse... and I take advantage of TM's also, just like Volt here's brick break..."
she said motioning towards the little pikachu, not mentioning the fact that all her pokemon (except volt) she stole from strong trainers...

Mike nodded, still blissfully ignorant of the fact that she was a Rocket. "right. thats how it goes, pretty much." he looked at the tv again, without thinking, then back. "i definitely hope to get to battle you at some point." Medicham, almost instantly, smirked, and nodded, in agreement.

Mike nodded. "yeah. he is." he looked back to Medicham, then to Crystal again. "he's my strongest." he purposefully avoided comparing him and his pokemon to others. he hated bragging.

Mike smirked a little. "well... i sure hope youre wrong." he laughed slightly for a second. "though, ive only really got to see your pokemon against weak trainers..."

Maria clapped as the battle ended. People around her cheered and whistled. And Eli was so excited small sparks started coming out of his cheeks. He looked back at Maria and grinned. "Raichu! Rai!" Maria nodded and smiled. "Yeah that other trainer didn't know how to handle his Pokemon at all."

Mike made a fake, determined look(like that one ash used ta do... er still does... i dunno...). "dont worry, i wont." he was still a bit nervous about the idea of fighting ghost pokemon. his face changed back to its normal state. "i should be up soon..." he said, looking at the screen again.
