Korsu noticed a commotion in the thoughts of some of the people in the town. Curious, he started to head in the general direction of the thoughts and then paused. He noticed that the soldiers were getting more numerous as he got closer to the thoughts. He then saw two men and a women along with a cat that he thought looked out of place.

Mimi nodded, standing up. "Yeah..." She said, walking out of the room. She then used her telekinesis to make her scythe and pistol come to her. "I'm ready." She told them.

"So we're deciding to fight?" Mina asked.

Hiro was a little surprised when Annexus put him on his feet. Then Annexus told him that, if he joined his army, Hiro would never want anything again. But what Annexus asked was impossible. Hiro would never abandon his fellow Eternal Eyes. "Never! I'll never join your army!" Hiro yelled! He then ran down the street, passing a woman. I'll never be able to outrun him, but maybe I can lose him in the maze of the town. He turned into an alley. I'm lucky that he made the mistake of letting go of me. If he hadn't, I would have died as soon as I refused to join his army. He came out of the alley and saw soldiers. Cursing quietly, he ran into another alley. Then he came to a sudden realization. This is a dead end.

Annexus was now acutely aware of both Lilly behind him, and the woman to the left. He turned his head suddenly. "Azelf, Lilly, now!"

Felicity charged out of the room. She made a V-line towards Annexus. "Hello dear, dear, Annexus. How have you been?" She asked casualy while looking for signs of him trying anything with her. None so far that she coulod see.

Lilly started drawing. She already had it all planned out in her head. Each stroke was quick and precise.
Leah cursed in her head. She had to help out. Suddenly out of the rubble where the cat once layed, a wolf now stood. It growled at the king and crouched as if getting ready for a fight. Leah, still in the illusion of a neighbor, quickly thought up something else. Her eyes strayed to the girl with the pad and paper. Finally she had the perfect illusion. With each stroke the girl made it seemed that 3 strokes were erased. Physically Leah did nothing but act totally supprised.

Annexus smiled, forgetting completely that the boy had escaped him. He waited until Felicity was just in range, then in one swift motion pulled the sword from the ground and swung it at Felicity, in almost blinding fast speed.

Felicity ducked just as the sward went towards her head. "Very quick, but Annexus, you f all people should know i am one step ahead." She teased him with a smile and a sweet voice.

Annexus had expected the move. "But I'm quick to catch up," He said, bringing his foot up toward her chin, and spinning the sword back toward her side, leaving only one opening, into a jagged piece of wood sticking out of the ground.

Mina quickly summoned a lion, which were easy to control. A wave of weariness swept over Mina, but she ignored it. She then said, "Leo, attack Annexus!" The lion then started running toward Annexus.

Hiro leaned against the wall for a little while, catching his breath. When no one came, he thought, Huh? He's not chasing me? Maybe something, or someone, distracted him. Running back the way he had come, Hiro saw two girls facing Annexus. I have to help, he thought. He quickly ran into the cellar where he was before the army came, grabbed his crossbow and darts, and ran back out. Carefully aiming the crossbow at Annexus, he fired a dart.

Meg saw this comming and before he could do much more she countered. "I am sure my brother would hate that you are fighting his fight." She said with an even bigger smile. Annexus eyes twitched slightly as he realized exactly who she was. "Wouldnt want to piss Wade off now would you." She said sarcastically while seeing the lion in her vision.
