Cyrus had only his crossbow. He was inefficient and unskilled with any other hand-held weapon. "I should be flying," he muttered, but locked his crossbow into place anyway. "Android," the pilot/mechanic said, recognizing the subtle, telltale features immediately.

Zain nodded and opened a small panel on his gauntlet, he flipped a such and spun a knob then closed it once more, aiming at Kuromi, he fired, a bolt of photon energy blasted at the android's head.
Rene loaded a clip into her M16 and smiled.

Kuromi had stopped singing when she noticed a group of people had come, who seemed to be unaffected by her singing. When Zain attacked, she quickly jumped out of the way of the photon energy blast and landed on another building. She immediately aimed her rocket launcher at Zain and fired several rockets at him.

Zain fired at the rockets, shooting them down, then he aimed at Kuromi and fired again.

Kuromi jumped out of the way, firing more rockets at Zain as she did so.

It was then that Raster showed how he corrupted others: by using his mighty strength to render them unconscious. Any who were such afflicted became corrupted immediately. And no amount of armor could protect the frail human mercenaries from Raster for long.
So focused was Zain on Kuromi that he did not realize that a giant of power (if not of size) had jumped horizontally, traveling far faster than reflex allowed Zain to turn, notice Raster, and jump out of the way, silver baseball bat in hand. Zain was about to be in for one hell of a migraine... along with a dose of corruption.
Rene could keep Kuromi busy. Cyrus, who had been behind Zain and saw Raster even as he was preparing to jump, however, did have enough time. He dropped his crossbow and tackled Zain to the ground, where Raster sailed directly over them and leveled another building in the process.

Zain growled, blasting the rockets away.
Rene aimed her gun at Kuromi and started firing, green glowing bullets that blew up on impact arced at Kuromi.

Kuromi dodged the green glowing bullets. Then she jumped down to another building and shot rockets at Rene.

Raster attacked Rene now, swinging his silver baseball bat with enough force to reduce in one swing a building to rubble.

Zain continued to blast out the rockets that Kuromi fired, he knew his gauntlet was running out of power, but he was beginning to recognize this type of android, and he thought he knew a way to disable it, unless someone had made modifications.
Rene growled, her katarr whipping around to block Raster's strike, "Don't mess with me dude, just back off."
Soon other mercs came back to regroup with Zain and Rene as they began to fire at Kuromi, half the force of the mercs had the corrupted citizens locked up in an old schoolhouse.

Kuromi's left eye suddenly glowed a bright blue, a flame appearing over/on her eye. She suddenly had her katana out and sliced through all the bullets that were fired at her as she shot another rocket at Zain.

Green flames licked up Rene's katar as she glared at Raster, "Back. Off."
Zain blasted the rocket away then opened his gauntlet quickly, a wide-burst photon flare should be able to fry Kuromi's systems, as long as no one had modified her. He switched up his gauntlet to the proper settings then aimed at Kuromi and fired, what appeared to be a huge wave of photon energy flared out, striking Kuromi, Zain hoped this worked.
((Why isn't Cyrus doing anything?))
