Ami nodded at Nick. "Alright. But you sure you don't want another go? It was pretty interesting, fighting against you and your skills."

Nick gave an abrupt laugh. As if, was what the laugh said, and Nick began walking towards the exit, still rubbing his arm. He wasn't trying to be rude, and he had thanked Ami, but let's face it--getting your arm hacked off isn't very pleasant.
Nick sighed even as Halcyon got her idea.
Halcyon lingered near Ami, and scratched the back of one leg with the other. "Hey... so what are you doing around here? Just fighting whoever comes along?"

Ami looked over at Halcyon. "Yeah. That's pretty much it."

"Well, I mean--what else do you do? I'm Halcyon, by the way," the girl said, grinning. "That's Nick. We're... traveling."

"I'm Ami. Nice to meet you," she said. "And what I do? Anything really. I take on most jobs given to me, like bodyguard duty. But I had some free time, so I came here to test my skills against other fighters."

Halcyon closed her eyes and wobbled somewhat. When Nick rushed over to steady her, her eyes were open once again. But Halcyon's eyes were sharp and focused; full of apprehension.
"You need to... watch out," Halcyon murmured. "He'll be... coming for you."
Nick waved a hand in front of Halcyon's face, but received no reaction. Halcyon seemed to be seeing something else, something far-off.

Halcyon's eyes were no longer sharp and focused. They were dull and vague again, and the Halcyon they knew seemed to have returned.
"I... uh... dunno," Halcyon replied. "I have... er... visions...? What did I say?"
"You warned Ami here that someone would be coming for her. Some man," Nick replied helpfully.
"O-oh..."
Nick turned to Ami, with Halcyon still gripped by the shoulders with his hands. "Halcyon has prophetic visions... the conditions for these things are somewhat bizarre. But saying your name to her triggered it.
"These visions have never been wrong," Nick continued, "as far as my experience goes. Apparently, you're in danger. Someone will be 'coming for you' at some time or another, for some reason."
Halcyon bit her lip. "Um... please don't take this the wrong way... I'm sorry," she apologized, then turned away, cheeks hot with embarrassment.

"Oh... Well, no need to say sorry," Ami said, the last part directed at Halcyon. Ami didn't seem that phased by the fact that she was in danger. "And thanks for the warning."

"Can you tell who it was?" Nick asked. In the past, probing with questions had done no good, but Nick didn't see why he had to stop trying just because of that.
"H-he was here... in this Stadium... hours ago," Halcyon said slowly, thoughtfully. "I can feel the lingering presence. Evil--" and then Halcyon cut off with a choking cry. Down on her knees, now, Halcyon cried a little.
Nick sighed and helped Halcyon up. "Okay, now you're just being a drama queen."
Halcyon snorted. "...So? What I said was true."

Ami had no idea who this guy would be. She had only arrived at the Stadium about an hour ago. "Any ideas why he would be after me?" she asked Halcyon.

Halcyon shrugged. "Beats me," she said. "But I do know I'd recognize him if I saw him. But--as good as you fight (and someone else I know doesn't)--you shouldn't be in any trouble."
Nick rolled his eyes at this, but said nothing. Apparently, they weren't leaving until Halcyon wanted to... and Halcyon seemed to be ready to take her good sweet time here, with Ami.

"Alright," Ami said. Then she heard the next match be announced. "Might want to move to the stands."
(( Next match will probably just be NPCs. Just to entertain the NPC audience. ))

Stiffling another sigh, Nick followed.
