(Rest Post)
Groaning to herself, just cuz she felt like complaining about something, Shuiro leaned up against the mine wall and sank herself all the way down to the floor. Needless to say she was tired... after all, she'd just busted through five walls, reaping rewards from them, as well as taking a beating. Plus it was dark... very dark... Why the hell anyone would want to work here, she would never know. She was just glad that she was getting something out of it... Silver ore, coal, and something else... another type of ore... She'd have a good amount of ryo by the time she was done. What to spend it on though? Perhaps a comissioned weapon? What would a normal kid her age buy? Probabaly the latest magazine or movie tickets... Nah, she needed something to improve herself, adn that's what she would do. Taking in one deep breath at a time, she leaned her head back against the stone hoping her body would relax enough to continue on.

Slowly getting up, the girl stretched out her aching muscles, popping the kinks out of her spine, neck, and shoulders. Then, for a test round, she pulled back her fist and shot it at the wall opposite of her. Dust and rubbled shattered down upon her as she closed her hand into a fist around what felt to be more ore. Well, well, well... I'm rather lucky today, now aren't I? Let's see if this luck holds up... It was obvious that she was still a bit tired, but what was the point to training yourself if you couldn't push a limit or two... after all, no one got anywhere without pain, right? Lingering there for a moment, the breat caught up to her and she pulled her fist out of the wall, straightening her posture... It was time to head back up to the surface, but she didn't see anything wrong with knocking down a few more things on her way out.

The clangs of metal pick axes against stone echoed louded through the cavers, almost with a beat and rythem. Some tunnels seemed to be a little bit worse for wear, or so it seemed to her in the dim torch light. To be honest, she couldn't really tell the difference between rafters hanging by a hinge and a person.... Though why anyone would want to hang from the cieling in a place like this was unknown to her. Every now and then, Shuiro would give a wall or two a good test kick, before she found one to be a bit 'soft' compared to others and kicked it harder. With her foot imbedded into the wall, she almost went off balance. Blind and klutzy... what else? Shaking her head, she pulled her foot out to find that there was nothing in the brokenness she'd created.

Alas, these are the times and joys of the blind girl... cursed to find nothing but darkness in the caverns benieth the earth... And so she ranted in thought... a short story forming, one that would be interesting to tell to a child... maybe. Her knuckles, and now legs, were starting to wear down on her, but she felt like she could do a little bit more. She heard whispers in the distance, and they were heading towards another cavern. Following quietly she caught the jist of what they were talking about. There were diamonds to be found... and the two that left were heading to tell their friends. A smirk crossed her face. Now what would they think if a little girl found it first? Heading off the way they had come from, she found where people had seemed to have been working. She could feel the gouges in the stone where their axes had met. Sucking in a deep breath, the blind girl struck the wall with what force she could muster up and felt it crashing down. Knees buckling under her, she got away from the cavern quickly tand into another for another good rest. A smile crossed her face, however, as she twirled a diamond between her fingers.

Shuddering slightly, she gripped the kjewel in her hands and stuffed it away with the ore she had ocllected. She felt as if, perhaps, it would be close to the time where she should be packing up... after all... it wasn't that safe down in the mines... and she was growing weaker... much weaker. She wondered if she should chance it. Perhaps one more wall? Maybe two more? Could she even make it? These were all questions she would have to answer once her body had rested as much as it could in the dump they called a mine. Atleast sitting down helped a little bit... She would have to do something about her hands later... They would be hurting for a week after this.

Travelling through cavern after cavern, tunnel after tunnel, Shuiro finally got to where she could see a glimmer of daylight... before flinching away from it anyways. Her eyes were far too adjusted to the darkness of the caves to even want to go back up there... atleast not for now. She wanted to give her hunt for treasure one more shot. Doing so, she wandered down a side cavern, so the light wouldn't hurt her as she worked. She was gonna give this whole thing one final shot... and the shot she gave it just happened to be with her fist... and it hurt like hell. Groaning in pain, she recoiled her hand to her chest, feeling for damage with her other hand. She felt lucky to not be bleeding. Nevertheless, the wall crumbled... but not enough... not enought to reap rewards. Rolling her eyes, she sighed. She would crack this one before she left, and she would leave with dignity.

Sucking in a deep breath, Shuiro took a deep stance. She wouldn't injure her hands anymore that day, but use her foot once more. She could get enough power from it to make significant damage to the mine wall, and hopefully get soemthing from it. After all, a last shot was supposed to give you something special... that way it wouldn't be pointless. Lifting her leg, she kicked it firth and then snapped it back into place before moving back into her deep stance. As if it were a delayed reaction, the wall crumbled down a minute after she had rested back into her stance. She shifted through the rubble, searching for something... anything. Just as long as it was worth something. Smiling her hands moved over chuncks of silver ore. All she did was scrape up what she had found and decided the whole things wasn't so bad. She figured she'd just continue, but keep close to the surface rather than stay down deep within the earth.

The young blind girl felt like there was nothing to worry about, and knowing the sun and blue skies were close at hand gave her a bound of new energy. Enough so that she almost shattered the wall in one strike, however there were still areas that needed to be loosened up and such. She just hoped to find more valuables... Something to use, to buy something else with. She was wondering what type of weapon she might perfer. Something theat could enhance her already powerful static attack? Or perhaops something that coyuld cover her weaknesses? Like range and ranged attacks? So many possibilities, and she would soon be able to pay for a solution.

Striking in various places, the blindish girl was disappointed to discover that fate had not graced her with more eyo winning items... There wasn't even coal around this cavern... Perhaps she was in a dead end? That was most likely. Shrugging the failure off, she moved down into another side tunnel and examined it, hoping to reap some rewards from it. It was harder to tell when she couldn't see. Curse that damn magnitization!

Moving along nicely, Shuiro decided to jsut finish off walls with her kicks for a while. She was getting tired of using her fists and she needed to work on her leg strength, even though girls were naturally stronger in their legs than arms. She didn't want to loose that strength, now did she? Of course not! It would be awful... Laughing mentally as her thought process wandered around, her blind eyes trying to follow the walls as her hands guided the way, she came to what seemed to be a nice spot for her and round house kicked it. Like usual, pebble and shards of stone scattered and tumbled everywhere... Luckily she was rewarded, though it was small. More coal for her. Of course that was fine... every little bit adds up to a lot.

An other kick here and there rounded out the walls a bit as larger stones fell and rolled to the floor. She was pleased to find more high grade coal that would become a part of her collection of goods. Counting in thought she realized that all her winning added up to over one hundred ryo in worth. Smirking at this little fact she moved on to find another wall to beat down and find good things from.

Even though she was having quite the adventure treasure hunting, Shuiro had to convince herself to stop sometime. Debating over whether she should stop after ten or twenty more, she settled on just knocking down one last wall. She figured if she continued on she would get addicted and never stop... atleast not until she dropped in a pile of rubble too sore to move. So one last wall it was... then she would run for it and not look back until she was a safe distance away... She knew that that was what had to be done. Smiling, she wanted to make this last go be one hack of a try and pounded the wall with her fists furiously. Like usual the stones and pebbles rained down, but once again, nothing. No prizes in sight.

Raging on, she beat the wall all the way down the corridor and back. It was like a ahilstorm... only they were rocks, not ice. Searching blindly through the rubble, Shuiro felt no odd textures of anything really. Then, just to make sure, she sent out a pulse, or ten, and fell over. Her headband was still in her pouch and it gravitated towards the floor. The poor girl would now have more than bruised hands to deal with. With closure, however, on not finsing anything more, she quickly bolted out of the room just happy to have created havoc in the mines... She would count her prizes more thuroughly when she got home, but right now she just had to keep herself from going back. Money is the root to all evil after all... she didn't want to sink deeper than she already was...

The 4th and final event. After this, we start again with the random picking. Hopefully I'll get a few more. 4) Actors Round-up Thank’s to the current Tsuchikage being so well known in the film industry for both decent and indecent films, Iwa has become a bit of a hub for recruiting new talent for movies. Star’s are being born and fading faster than a Supernova could possibly keep track of. Why don’t you try your hand at stardom.
Rules: The player will have to audition for a role that fits their personality. The auditions consist of 2 scene try outs: 1 is a pure acting scene and the other is a combat scene. For the acting scene, the user must past a Performance(Acting) DC based on Rank 5 times. For the combat scene, the user must defeat a foe of your rank with exactly half your stats(rounded down) but make it interesting. Take too few posts and your not ‘exciting’ enough, take too many and you’re too much of a ham.
Gennin: Performance(Acting) DC 15 / Combat Posts: 3 min, 6 max Chunnin: Performance(Acting) DC 25 / Combat Posts: 4 min, 8 max Jounin: Performance(Acting) DC 50 / Combat Posts: 6 min, 10 max ANBU: Performance(Acting) DC 75/ Combat Posts: 7 min, 10 max Kage: Performance(Acting) DC 100/ Combat Posts: 8 min, 15 max
Other: Obviously, since this isn’t a REAL fight, you can’t die nor can you be knocked unconscious. If your HP reaches 0, you simply lose that portion.
Restrictions: None
Special: If you give your character an acting scene that goes directly AGAINST their personality, increase the DC by 10 (+2 per rank past Gennin). You will get extra reward for it. *Reward's increased by 1.5x if you do this

[[Chunnin level reverse personality roll. Roy is cynical and care free so the roll will be the typical hero, caring and determined…]]
Iwa was alive with the festive mode that came with a film crew. People were lined up down the road as far as the eye could see. Some had been there since the morning before, camped out hoping for their chance to make it big. Thankfully, however, this new film was a combat film so anybody with official ninja training got pushed to the head of the line so long as they could show one Jutsu. Roy had already qualified for this… kinda helps when you stick a bomb in the directors hated assistance pants. It was good for a laugh.
The Kage tower was being used as a temp set for the auditions, at least the first part anyway. Roy walked in when his turn came up and he glanced around. He had haphazardly grabbed one of the scripts, not paying much attention to which one it was.
There was a table before him. He noticed it as the table the Mission distributors used. Of course they decorated it a bit differently but he noticed it still. He arched his brow a bit at the colorful bunch behind the table. One was a man in one of those gay berets tilted to the side to make himself look cool. The next was a woman smoking a cigarette at the end of a long stick. And the last was just some fat balding guy. Roy simply sighed and looked to them.
The man with the beret looked to Roy and arched a brow. He began to speak low to the woman next to him, “Gah, zuch talentless ‘acks zis town ‘as. Marcus’ ‘ad better appreciate what moi ‘as done for ‘im.”
Roy had a somewhat blank look upon his face. In all honesty he wanted to hit the guy but didn’t. He glanced to the woman who’s lips just curled into a smile as she continued to take puffs from the cigureet.
The balding man simply smiled, “Ok kid. You’re one of the ninja from this village right? Come on and read the script and give us a good show ok?! You’re the first ninja we’ve had in here today so we’re expecting lots.”
The guy was hyper… great… an emo, a mute and a bouncing butter ball. Good grief.
Roy looked to his script and his eye began to twitch. He read that the script was labeled Hero. He didn’t like it a bit. Looking for the lines, he passed through and noticed the lining of how the hero was suppose to work. He sighed since this was completely outside his personality but whatever. He was bored.
He cleared his throat and looked to them and began to read.
“Never fear young lords and ladies, for I have come to save thee.” He was certain that if anyone mentioned this after this day, he’d kill them right then and there.
