the boys words vibrated in Hikaru's mind until he could figure out a plan. "You have me, a medic nin, three muscle people, and some kid whose alright with Ninjutsu." that's it Hikaru thought as he came up with a plan that he had hoped would work. "first things first, we need to get out of here. we will move in a triangle formation. the three muscular guys will make up the three points of the triangle with the ninjutsu kid and the midic nin moving freely inside the triangle and you shall follow the triangle and make up the rear defenses. we should travel about ten feet apart from each other. stay aware of your surroundings so we can make it out of this alive. Any objections?" Hikaru asked as he was pretty confident that his plan would work.

The beast hissed as she kicked at it, but quickly darted away. It was obvious that this creature didn't like the idea of pain very much, and therefore probably wouldn't stick around after being hurt some. As Mika swam towards the surface, the creature decided a new approach, it slithered up near the girls arm, and tried to n** at it. It figured if this worked it could go into a constricting position and just wait until the girl drowned. So once again it tried to bite the girls shoulder so it could then wrap around her.

The girl was getting closer to the surface but also was the animal getting closer to her. Mika moved quicker now, though it was to no avail. She was no match for the serpents speed underwater. It caught her quickly and then passes her. Damn, this thing is fast! Just as the turned to watch it swim, it came at her. The monster was attacking her, its teeth sharp and out, but quickly she tore her shoulder back causing it to miss her and overshoot her body. Mika was relieved as it accidentally swam past her. This was her time to head for the surface for a quick breath. Mika swam franticly towards the surface and popped her head above water. The then exhaled heavily, and inhaled the same way. Around her she saw the lush of the oasis, though Lokail was nowhere to be seen. Mika rolled her eyes. She cound not stay up long. As she knew the danger would be right below her. Quickly, Mika jackknifed her body and kicked her way back down to meet her attacker.

The boy smiled and gave a thumbs up. Good plan, Ru-ru! Though i think i'm going to hang in the middle, we Genjutsu users should stick with the ninjutsu users, you know what i mean? Though where will you be in all of this Ru? The boy smiled seeming a little confused at Hikaru's forgetting he was a Genjutsu user, however it wasn't his fault. How was Hikaru supposed to know their friendship? The three melee users formed the points and the plan went on as planned. However after about a half hour of movement the green boy walked up to Hikaru. Though, your mention of killing... I've been wondering for a while now, why do you kill? I mean i guess we all kill, but how do you do it so easily? I mean watching you murder, it makes me think you'd even kill me...

the serpent moved around Mika's leg yet again. It continued to glare at Mika with those same hungry eyes. Meanwhile Lokail looked down into the water, wondering if they were both dead yet. He wondered if Mika was making use of that knife he gave her. Who knows, maybe she got unlucky and ran into the few adults, though she probably was just having a tough time with one of the kids... Under the surface the serpant darted its forked tongue out at Mika, in a strange way it seemed like it was licking it's lips. Finally, it snapped at the girl, hoping to take a chunk off of her small arm.

It seemed as Mika swam back down towards her attacker, it was coming at her. The serpent came up straight and quickly. Before she knew it, the water snake was right next to her, snapping at her arm. Her eyes grew wide as she did not expect it. Mika spun her body to the left, away from the attack. Quickly, the small girl jackknifed again. She swam in the direction of the monster, as she did, she dug in her right pocket for the 'present' she had received from Lokail. She looked at it quickly.Thank you Lokail. As she drew nearer and nearer to the serpent, Mika pusher her right hand towards it holding the butterfly knife in it. Once it was in reach, Mika took a quick swing at the monster.
(( Under butterfly knife, it says I can use a preform check. What does that mean?.. ))

Hikaru was a little surprised that he was being asked this question. "Well. I guess I would have to say the reason I kill so easily is its either them or me and I don't plan on dying anytime soon, and we are ninja, killing is what we do. and about where I will be in the formation. It's simple, I will be in the front." Hikaru said with confidence as the idea of leader was becoming easier and easier to accept.

The boy shrugged but kept a sort of mellow grin on. It was obvious that despite Hikaru's sins and everything he had done, this boy still cared deeply for him. He shrugged and looked up at the blue sky, letting out a very deep sigh. It's interesting. When there are wars in stories, and thousands of people dying, the sky is always described as something epic. How many men have died today? Yet here it's as beautiful as ever... It was obvious that this was only a passing thought he was having, something to say while he formulated his main point in his head. But, what about when it's not you or the enemy? I mean yeah, sometimes it is... But as you run in for the finisher, couldn't you whack them in the gut with your blade as opposed to beheading them with the blade? I've watched you... And i wonder, do you enjoy it? The boy avoided making eye contact with Hikaru, obviously treading water that was uncomfortable.

Hikaru looked at the boy with a sad look in his eyes. "You don't understand. have you ever heard of the golden rule, do unto others as you would want them to do to you. I do not kill because its fun, I do it as a service for my enemies, they stand to fight me and they will not win so the least I can do is give them the fitting end of a warrior." Hikaru said as he thought back to all the times he had won battles. "Weakness is a disease that needs to be extinguished. if you pick up a weapon then you had better know how to use it."

The boy grinned as he continued to walk, he slowly began to drift back falling into his normal position. However as he drifted back he muttered one last set of words. Do onto others as you would do to yourself? Wouldn't that make you suicidal Ru-ru? this was said as more of a joke, and obviously didn't have very much conversational merit. The rest of the afternoon continued normally, however something was happening in the grasses... An enemy force was getting ready to penetrate this group of people.
((Alright, i'm going to say people on the outside can act as scouts. That means you Hikaru, and the Taijutsu specialists. I'll roll for the Taijutsu specialists. You may roll also, if you pass either you prevent the ambush

The serpent dodged the girls slice, it was obviously afraid of the knife, and only drifted back and forth hissing at Mika. Now trying to consider whether it really wanted meat that much it backed away a little. Though it was obvious that it wasn't done, just being careful. It knew that if it wrapped around Mika she would be able to slice it easier, so the new tactic was going to be jumping in for little bites and nibbles out of the flesh, while trying to stay away from that damned knife. It hissed and then darted at Mika once again, hoping to take a bite out of her fore arm

(( So since my dodge bonus is 15, I don't have to roll for that correct? )) (( Attack Roll 17 + 3 = MUAHAHA! )) The monster quickly swirled around in the water, staring back at the young girl. 'This has taken to long!', Mika got ready to charge at the serpent as it darted right up to her. The creature snapped at the young girl with its large, sharp teeth. Its aim was clearly for her arms, that was a frequent target. Quickly, Mika whipped her arm away as it got closer than it had ever before. Mika was becoming frustrated with this serpent. She glared back at the creature and then quickly swam under it. One underneath the drew back her left hand, containing the 'gift' from Lokail. 'Take this Nessy!' Mika then swung at the serpents belly with her knife.
(( I can say I hit you correct? ))
The small blade opened the flesh of the serpent, letting out a small trickle of blood. As Mika drew back her knife, the edge was red. Though it quickly washed away under the water of the oasis.

All of a sudden the air seemed to feel different and without warning a member of the ANBU appeared in the oasis. "Kazekage sama sorry to disturb you but I have something for Hikaru Monterio." The ANBU member handed Lokail a large scroll and a sealed envelope. "this is a gift from the boys uncle. I don't know what it is but the matter is of the utmost importance. good day sir" and with that the ANBU member was off again.
