Wotan Manasal Mentioning the whole website instead of just /b/ has pretty much the same negative effect, both because almost every other 4chan board is full of their respective shitposters and because /b/tards aren't the only users that hate newcomers. *shrug* It's where I found Touhou. No way around that. Gaia has a worse reputation in some circles, anyway (and I don't mean the chans). It's the Internet. You learn to live with bad posters, or you waste time worrying about things that don't matter in the slightest.

I'd say I had a pretty clean introduction compared to most. It was this video right here, actually. It took a month or two for me to actually find out what it was, though.

Hello everyone, im SuzumiyaIkari, PCB Alice Margatroid told me about Gaia, and how everyone can RP here. So i signed up to check it out and im here because i thought maybe some of you can help me with an RP story which i will post at the Roleplaying & FanFiction section.
Favorite Touhou characters:
Yuyuko(The Prettiest in Gensokyo), Meiling(Hiya!), Reisen(The Gunslinger Rabbit), Wriggle(Rider Kick!), Youmu(love her swords), etc. So many characters to love.

Yo, I'm Stenzor. I've been addicted to Touhou for almost a year now, but only started playing the games a couple months ago. Love them so much that I downloaded every Windows game! I just can't help myself D: How I first heard of Touhou? I don't remember how, but I stumbled upon this link - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t4y-pQb-UDAI just never forgot the picture. I don't know why...but it got me into Touhou, and I've been helplessly addicted ever since ,^_^ Umm...I guess that's it? -derp- (I'm sure I'll be stalking these forums religiously) >:3

new guy here. I stumbled upon Touhou like 3 years ago. I heard the name till i looked it up. sure enough i got hooked. I may not know like a crap load but i do either wiki it, download Doujins and play some of the games from here to there.
i enjoy it cause i love some of the stories or Dojuin ones a lot.

Hi, I became a touhou project fan since I been watching the GTA SA anime modd videos. I descovered Flandre, and she's the first I descovered. I became more familiar to touhou and I plan on doing art and fan fics about it. I also need more character information too so Please help me whenever possible ok?

Hello fellow nameless fairies!
so, are there any guild projects that are touhou related going on at the moment? like making a flash out of SaBND or SSiB? perhaps writing something for walfas, or a vid attribute to kams? can I join?
anyway, i knew about touhou for quite some time before i gave it a try. i saw many cute pics on danbooru, and i expected it to be an RPG or an anima, (if touhou 13 will be an RPG it would be awasome!) and i was disappointed to see its danmaku. so disappointed, that i stopped exploring any further and didn't discover the hordes of the neat doujin games.
that is, untill i stumbled upon Moemon, which naturally lad me to touhoumon. whan i first started, i couldn't tell reimu from sakuya... i had to try different attacks before i realized letty was rock/ice, and was pretty impressed by the cuteness of hina. and Yuuka. i still play it, albit a different version of it.
I also searched daily for funny pics and vids around the net, but lately due to school i can't do it anymore and i'm losing track of the page i was on danbooru sad
anyway, cool place you have here guys. if anyone here finds a way to the true gensokyo, take me with you!
