Senritsu looked over to Serena as she watched the girl stumble of the tree. “Just be careful. We’re close to the sea so the tree bark is going to be a bit slippery.” Keeping herself on one leg, Senritsu found her hand gliding upwards towards the red ribbon on her neck. Her habit of fiddling with it every chance she had never failed her, even while standing one legged in a tree on a cliff with a near sheer drop to the area beneath. Her green eyes set upon the body of the Orochi child as she kept herself balanced. He was a strange person. He had the air of being too much into himself, and too much of a smart aleck for his own good. He seemed smart, perhaps even to challenge her own intelligence, but his was too corrupt for her to take pleasure in finding another person of the same intellectual standing.

"Ah, thanks, Senritsu...you, too--be careful." Serena wondered how this girl was. Every time she's talked to her, it always feels like she's talking to someone way more mature than she should be. It was actually something she quite admired in a person. It really showed their intelligence and ability to handle themselves. So far, the Raiken had taken a liking to the girl and was kind of glad that she was apart of the team.

On the other hand, Shisei might be a bit tougher to work with. Mostly because of him. Serena kinda felt that she would be able to put up with it for a while, but if he was going to continue being his usual self-centered character, then she didn't know what she was going to do. He would at least follow orders, no?

“No problems there. To be honest I'm a bit more worried about you. That first try of your's didn't seem to convincing. I’m almost always careful. The only times I’m not is when there’s something on my mind. Then again, more times than not, there’s always something on my mind.” Senritsu giggled to herself as she spoke. It seemed like the longer haired female was having a bit more trouble than she was at first, but she seemed to have gotten the hang of it now. That was good. She’d hate to see Serena have any trouble with their first training. Her attention once more landed upon the snake child as she wondered just how he good he would be at learning Jutsu and doing these exercises. Senritsu knew that these two were stronger than she was at the moment, but she’d prove she could be just as good at what they do if she gave it a try.

Even though his back was turned away from the group pale ears did listen to Sukotto’s request. Many of his requests Shisei did not care for. Teamwork and fighting for Shimagakure was not on his list of things to do. Why would a boy who wanted to be the best want a team? Why would he have any desire to work for a village that exterminated his home like misbehaved rats? There was no reason aside from the fact of using the village’s resources. The youth listened as the male gave orders to the other ‘teammates’ on team. Seems like the Uchiha was ready to work the team. The snake wanderer would not be left out either. His voice also gave training to Shisei on the use of the ram seal. The hand sign the boy was using mostly. Sukotto had stated a point that Shisei had found out about over the break. His near murder by the chain snake had proven insightful. The serpent youth had always preferred to keep his hands and digits concealed out of natural inclination to not make his actions known. When he fought with the bloody eel though, is when the serpent youth realized just important that factor of secrecy was. The dread hair gave a mental note of small appraisal to this person. He did not expect the senior shinobi to have thought that out. It was fortunate that he had reminded the boy of this because Shisei had forgotten about it. He was too wrapped up in catching up with jutsu to take note of that detail at the moment. “Understood…” was the boy’s terse reply as he turned and moved away from the group. Even if he was a part of this little band did not mean they had to be around each other. The gold eye stared back at the two girls for a minute with a curious thought in his mind. If the two of them fell to their doom right now would the teen try and find replacements for them? After all other teams should be made already made. Last night they did a graduation ceremony for one of the groups. If they ‘accidentally’ fell then wouldn’t it just be a team of one. That seemed like much better odds. Although for now that would have to wait for another time. The flip side to that would be that they could find replacements that he found distasteful. Turning back away the boy hid his palms below the brown sleeved jacket and began to adjust his fingers. At first two fingers poked up within the jacket sleeve, but Shisei quickly made adjustments so they could not be seen.

In a flash, the entire team had set to training. Sukotto wasn't sure how they'd respond to starting their training so quickly since he made them train on their first meeting day, but each of them seemed to be sated with what he had assigned them with, even the Orochi. With his squad formed and busy working on their training, Sukotto began thinking of the jutsu that he had in mind more deeply again. The final element in it that would tie everything together was the wind affinity. A fascinating kind of ninjutsu indeed, wind jutsu was all about surprising your enemy with an invisible and deadly force that could easily be underestimated. In addition, wind seemed to be one of the most adaptable elements, in that it could likely be combined with nearly any other element in an effective way. Sukotto figured that if two shinobi were to merely aim and execute their respective lightning and fire jutsu towards a target, then the two wild elements would merely follow their user's path of aim without combining, and would be more like two separate jutsu. The wind affinity could act like a glue of sorts, wrapping around the lightning and fire, and effectively fusing the two together, which was the ultimate goal of the ninjutsu that Sukotto had been creating. The plan seemed to make enough sense, but Sukotto was sure that there would be downfalls to it.

The chuunin had been a little nervous while giving the team his short and direct speech, but now that everyone was training, he felt strangely at ease. One of the downsides of the jutsu that he was inventing would be that it would really rely on the wind affinity side of the technique, and would work only if the wind-user had enough control over it to drive the lightning and fire into the opponent. Indeed, the amount of control that the shinobi would need would probably put them up in the ranks of low level medical ninja, which could also be beneficial in the long run. It wasn't fair that the majority of the strain would be placed on one out of three of the ninja, but Sukotto figured that being able to know what it felt like to control such a powerful force that was comprised of the entire team's power would make the extra training worth it. In addition, there would probably be a certain degree of personal prestige derived from being the one who steered the team's strength. Sukotto hoped that this would be enough to convince "that" member to proceed with the learning of the technique. He happily figured that the other two would be willing enough to go through with it, so he figured that there was little concern in that area. The Uchiha felt as though he was getting close to finishing the jutsu, but still felt as though a few important concepts were missing.

Sukotto figured that he needed to spend a little extra time with the wind element in his thought process, since it was vital to the technique's success. He hadn't needed to focus on fire element as much, since he had been familiar with that kind of jutsu for years, ever since Ichi had taught him the Hōsenka no Jutsu. The user of the wind element would need to bend its bursts around the fire and lightning, creating some sort of funnel that would tie the three elements together. Sukotto was hoping for an end result that would resemble a miniature tornado or vortex that comprised of all three elements. The important thing was to get the jutsu's beam spinning, so that it became more accurate and powerful. The lightning's unpredictability would be a little more controlled, and the fire jutsu's power wouldn't overwhelm the others, causing the jutsu to fail. Unfortunately, the combination would need to be nearly perfect, so all three users would need to have a great deal of focus in addition to a decent level of ninjutsu skill, so that they would be able to understand their element well enough to know how it behaved. The Uchiha wasn't sure exactly how much training this jutsu would require, but he figured that it would take a lot of general training to get to the point to be able to even use the jutsu, and more specific training to perfect its use.

Serena smiled back at Senritsu. "Well it definitely seems like you're good at focusing. Me...well I'm not really sure, heh. It's kind of weird but I actually tend to focus more if I multitask.." This actually wasn't as boring of a task as she thought it would be. It was quite nice to have someone to talk to, especially another girl. The past years working with Xyn and Sorri were definitely fun, but sometimes they wouldn't really be able to relate to the things that she was experiencing. She wondered what they were doing now...

It was kind of weird to work with another team...it didn't feel like a squad as of yet. None of them knew each other very well, so their teamwork might be slightly iffy at first, something they may have to work on. Each member seemed like they would all have something different to offer, meaning for a well rounded squad. Sukotto would have probably chosen them for that purpose.

Concealment would be a big part of the boy’s arsenal. Especially if the boy was going to be a practitioner of jutsu. It was something that the chain snake proved in their battle. It would also be something that the serpent child could use against others in battle. Obscuring his hand seals could be used in many ways. Especially if Shisei became very versed in the speed of hands seals. A person may not be able to predict his jutsu if they do not see all the animal symbols. This could make a person misjudge his jutsu. It also presented the chance to begin and stop jutsu at will. The dread hair could pretend to start a technique, hide his hands and then start another. Even when he began to use jutsu in front of the opponent they may never be sure. Always keeping the opponent guessing and filling their heart with anxiety of what may come next. This would especially be true if his jutsu variations are diverse ranging in all forms. An opponent cannot fully prepare for a large arsenal of dissimilarity. Anytime they would expect one thing Shisei could easily revert to something else. A different style entirely. This had multiple advantages for battle in which little snake would like to exploit one day. Unfortunately that day was in the future and not now. The boy’s mind had dwell on the possible topic that he had forgotten to return to his jutsu training.

It seemed as though both Serena and Senritsu had mastered the training that Sukotto had given them within mere moments of attempting it. Serena had seemed to have a bit of difficulty in the beginning, but she quickly improved after Senritsu gave her a little encouragement, which was what Sukotto was ultimately aiming for. While he was glad to see Senritsu do so well, he was afraid that he hadn't challenged her enough with the training, and decided on revising it a little. "Well done you too. And I like to hear both of you helping each other out so that the training is easier for the two of you. Senritsu, I want you to continue this training, but instead of balancing on one of your feet, I want you to balance on both of your hands. I know it seems ridiculous, but you never know what you'll need to do if you end up getting thrown towards a tree." After instructing Senritsu on what to do next, the Uchiha eyed Serena's staff that she had brought with her. "Serena, how about you show me how much you know about using that staff? You don't have to be too fancy, just demonstrate a few moves to me." Finally, Sukotto turned his attention back on the Orochi, who seemed to have a modest start on his jutsu training. "Try lowering your hands a little, Shisei, I think that it will really help with the concealment of that jutsu."

Senritsu gently glided to the ground from her spot in the tree. It was a pretty easy thing to accomplish. Focusing was easy when there wasn’t anything to distract you. “I wouldn’t go so far as to say I’m good at focusing. And yes, sometimes people are better at doing multiple things at once rather than on one. It just puts you ahead of everyone else. After all, while they are busy doing one thing, you’re busy doing two. You’ll stay ahead of the competition that way.” The Uchiha winked towards the Lightning child as she looked over to Sukotto for whatever else he was going to be giving them. Senritsu was a rather hyper child when it came to doing things. She always did them quickly, and efficiently so she could continue on with whatever else she was to be given. The books Senritsu had gotten from the Library before had been set beside the tree she was using, but they’ll have to wait for another time. Working around other people would be taking up her time more than anything at the moment, and they would be what she’d need to focus on at the moment. She could always work on reading the books while she waited for the others to finish. Sukotto’s voice grabbed her attention and she nodded when she was given her next goal. Performing a simple back flip, she landed herself in the tree on her hands, beginning what she’d be needing to do.

Senritsu‘s ability to focus on something had always been relatively decent, but why had Sukotto asked her to continue this little balancing act while Serena was sent off to do an exercise with a weapon. Perhaps if Senritsu had a weapon herself she‘d be doing the same thing, but unfortunately, she didn‘t. She hadn‘t been able to find Orika and request her help in making one before she came here. Perhaps a drop by the weapon shop would do her good in finding a new weapon. The bow Orika had mentioned before had really gotten into Senritsu‘s brain as something that would be good for her. Senritsu could feel her hands slip a little as she kept her balance. Letting out a sigh she moved her hand back into place as she continued her odd hand stand. She didn‘t see how this would do her any good in anything. It was rather boring to do. All it was to Senritsu was another odd Sukotto training that just had to do with something for the body. That was mostly all he ever gave her anyway. At that exact moment, her body had moved forward too much and resulted in Senritsu's body falling out of the tree. It was all too easy for her to flip over to her feet.

As she landed on the ground on one knee, Senritsu huffed and stood up normally. Well, that wasn‘t good. She climbed up the tree once more and lifted her feet above her head to ready herself to begin this little focusing exercise again. It started off normally, Senritsu‘s hands were slipping, but it was too simple to move them back to their original position and hold it. There was a slight stinging in her upper arms, probably from them holding the rest of her body up in the air. She didn‘t weigh much, but she wasn‘t very strong, especially in her arms. It was easy to see why she would start to feel the lactic acid beginning to pool in her arms. She‘d have to finish this up quickly, else she end up falling again from the pain of it pooling too much inside of her arms. That wouldn‘t be very good for her, and none too pretty to see happen either.

The pain in her arms was increasing with every second she stood like that. When she couldn‘t take the feeling any longer, she lowered her legs and sat down in the tree, resting her back against the crooked branches. All she needed was a little break before she could continue on doing this. Doing anything physical wasn‘t her cup of tea, and this was exactly the reason. The feeling of being pushed physically in a way she wasn‘t used to. Senritsu was used to running, anything having to do with running was right up her ally, as for working her arms, that was a whole other novel. She watched as Sukotto gave the snake kid more help on his Jutsu and Senritsu couldn‘t help but giggle to herself. When Senritsu had learned that Jutsu, she finished it so quickly it was insane. All it was really was putting the seal to memory and recreating it. How could this boy not do it easily?

Slowly, the pain in her arms was beginning to subside and she decided a moment or two longer of rest would allow her to be up to doing the exercise once more. Another good try at doing it seemed to be a good amount of time before she felt satisfied she‘d done it all correctly. As for what she‘d do after she completed this would be something she‘d think of later. Sukotto would probably want to finish up with teaching Serena and Shisei what they had to do. She‘d have to find something to keep her attention while he was busy then. The slender bodied child kept herself upright on her hands as she continued to watch around her at the three bodies that seemed to be busying themselves with their own trivial matters. As soon as she was satisfied with what she's done, she slipped out of the tree gracefully and landed gently on the ground before. "Sukotto, done," she said aloud, rubbing her arms from what he'd had her do.
