Ashe blinked, trying to understand Flint's movements, then it hit her. "Ohh..." She turned and knelt down, spreading her wings flat out and cupping her hands behind her. "Climb on." She moved her tail to the side so it wouldn't hinder Flint as he climbed onto her back. She silently thanked Providence that she had left the window open. This will be fun.

Flint, normally fearless, as still feeling nervous as he stepped behind Ashe and put his feet on her hands, climbing onto her back. Still feeling awkward, he wrapped his arms around her somewhere in the area of her stomach. "This'll be fun." he said, even though he was likely going to regret it.

((Demon: I hope you don't mind me acting out for you. It'll go a bit faster if I did))
Ashe stood up and said to Flint, "Let go a bit." He complied and she hoisted him up a little more. "Now hold on." He wrapped his arms around her neck and his feet under her rib cage. "Good. Let's go." She took one arm and grab the windowsill. Hoisting herself up she jumped out of the window and started running down the alleyway. Jumping up to the roof tops she launched herself and Flint airborne. She spread her wings and caught a thermal which lifted them up far above the rooftops of the city. With that done she made a beeline for Mike. "You can open your eyes now, Flint," she said, just incase her ride did close them.

[Nope, it's ok ^^] ----- Flint, ready for anything, took one last look around the room. Last chance to reconsider... Too late. They where already airborne. He did, in fact, close his eyes. He barely opened them when Ashe said he could open them. "E-easy for you to say." he stammered, looking around. It was actually exhilarating...and terrifying at the same time. "B-but I d-don't do well with h-heights." he continued.

"Just thought you might want to enjoy the view," Ashe said, with a chuckle. "Don't worry, I got you." She did. Flint was lighter than she had expected and he didn't hinder her wing's movement, so she concentrated on making sure his hands where around her neck and his legs under her ribs. She caught up with Mike shortly after and called out, "Mike, wait up!" She fell in behind him and waited for him to acknowledge her.
((now we wait...))

(Sorry for the delay guys, lots of stuff going on this week. Building catapults in physics. I'll make one in the roleplay if I have to *smiles*)
Mike had been flying for a little while, glad that not only was he easily out of range of any normal human's archery skills, but also that his wings were still as strong as before. He effortlessly flapped his wings, the strength behind them being strong enough to lift his weight and that of three or four other people before having to struggle slightly to stay in air. He reached a good height above the city and began to glide, the moonlight that went through his velvet wings making them look blood red. He loved the night, the cold air, the moonlight, the tranquil silence that occured when the humans had all but fallen asleep. They didn't know what true bliss was, true concentration, true wisdom was, until they let their mind wander in the dead of night.
As Mike was coasting along, he heard something behind him. A flapping sound, almost like leather flapping roughly in the wind. Suddenly a voice called out to him. He recognized Ashe and turned around, still flapping his wings to keep his speed.
"Well, pleasure to see you up here in your true form Ashe." Mike said with a small smile. Then he saw Flint on her back. "And Flint! I would have never guessed that you of all people would be caught this high off the ground! I owe a bar keep back in Tellitha a few pounds of gold. I didn't think dwarves would ever fly!"
Mike smiled at his joke. He was more human at night. The moonlight illuminated his soul from when he was still a boy. His innocence, his immaturity, his humorous nature. He was human when he looked demonic. To him it was sort of ironic (RHYMED!!! DAMNIT!!!). Everything about him was brought out when people would run from him or exorcise him. A human demon. A demonic half-elf. He was filled with opposing forces.
Just another mysterious knot in his web of existance...

Djers could not escape his subconscious, and another dream surfaced.
*flash*
((And don't worry this time)))
Several dwarfs are seen from a distance. Most of them are standing, so it seems. The camera zooms in to reveal that one of them, the Great Lutist Haschen, is sitting on a log. He dons a well-polished lute, and, sitting with his eyes closed in a meditative state, begins to play a tune. The crowd brims with excitement as the dwarf's fingers move, but no sound comes out. The crowd is nonetheless jubilant.
The camera zooms out upon the scene, a moderately-sized village. A lone dwarf is seen on the outskirt of town. He, too, has a lute, but one of the strings is broken.
He is seen murmuring.
The rules of the Lutist Society cannot be moved. Play our anthems, or do not play lute.
Dwarf anthems are, to the dismay of anyone musically inclined, incredibly simplistic. These three-chord tunes are now heard from the background, from the central, sitting dwarf. The crowd is now more hyper than ever, in spite of sour chords occasionally played.
Rummmm, strummmm, plummmm...
BURMMMMMMMMMMM.....
Djers Haschen awoke in a cold sweat. His panting had also startled Lido, who was now also wide awake. The wolf let out a reassuring whimper.
"Oh, don't you worry about me, boy."
He sat up in bed and moved to pet his pooch, now at his feet.

Flint was still rather pale, trying to keep his eyes anywhere but down. If he looked down...he saw the ground rushing past at a very high altitude. Looking to either side, he saw nothing. In front, Ashe's head. He heard Mike speak and poked his pale face out from behind Ashe's. "Y-yeah, well, she k-kinda talked me into it." he stammered, inadvertently looking down. He gave a small gasp. "H-how high up a-are we, a-anyways?" he asked.

Ashe smiled at Mike's joke and Flint's comment. "Actually this is more of a half-form," she said to Mike. To Flint, "High enough to stay out of archer's range." To both, "Let's head to the forest. We can talk there and Flint can be on solid ground again."

(sounds good to me)
"Sure thing." Mike said with a small nod. He gave them a small salute as he ceased his wing motion and began to tilt backwards. He encased himself in his wings, plummeting towards the ground at high speeds. With a quick snap of his wings, Mike changed his momentum from downward to forward and took off towards the forest. He figured it would be nice to be back in nature. He might even sleep out in the woods next to a small fire like he did when he was still alive. Mike went a little bit higher to get out of range of any archers on the wall of the city. The last thing he wanted was a calm city to go into high alert in the dead of night. Mike eased up and let Ashe and Flint catch up, letting them lead the way to the part of the forest they wanted to go to. He was still happy to have some companions he could travel with.
He was also worried that they'd be a liability if he ever transformed into the beast that dwelled inside him again like the night Sorrow was in danger. He was a threat to humanity as long as he existed. He had to fight his fate no matter the cost.

Ashe smiled. "Hold on, Flint," she said. She didn't drop as fast as Mike, but she did tilt towards the ground and fly towards it. Minding her rider and the city's archers.

"Y-yeah, thanks, t-that'd be nice." Flint said, looking down again. He had to stop doing that. His eyes widened when Mike went into his dive, and looked at Ashe, hoping she wouldn't do the same. "H-holding on is the only t-thing I can really d-do now." he said, and closed his eyes as Ashe dived to the ground.

Ashe skimmed the tree tops looking for a good place to land. She found one off to the South side of the city, near the castle, yet far from the wall. She landed gently and knelt down to let Flint off. "There, now how bad was that?"

Mike flew over Ashe's head and went deeper into the forest. He found some old sticks, a few dry logs, and alot of dried grass. Perfect for a fire. Mike cradled the supplies under his arm and walked back to the two. They made a good pair, Ashe and Flint. They were two great people that Mike had the pleasure of bumping into. He smiled as he hoped he would travel with them for a long time to come.
"Here, for a fire." Mike said as he dropped the logs and began to dig a pit. With three swings of his left arm, there was a sizable hole in the ground. Mike placed the logs on the outside and left the dry grass in between them. He placed the sticks in a cone pattern inside the logs and stepped back. He held a large orb of flames in his hand, and using his other to press against it, shrunk it into a small spark. He flicked it into the center of the logs, and the fire started with a loud whooshing sound. It would last for a few hours. Just long enough to get comfortable outside and fall asleep for Mike. He was glad to be Nero Angelo again, the body just being so much more comfortable. He didn't have to strain to keep his form, he just had to relax and let it gain control over him. He was perfectly comfortable just sitting by the fire, using his hand to play with the flames.

For a while after landing, Flint still had his eyes closed. He blinked them open after a moment, relieved to be back on dry land. "I-I still prefer d-dry land." he stammered, trying to let go of Ashe. It took a moment but his muscles finally obeyed and he dropped to the ground. "N-no offence." he added, walking over to the fire. "But that was strange, going from wanting to have a chat to rocketing across the forest." he said after a moment, finally stopping his stuttering. "I gotta remember to make sure I'm ready for takeoff every time I say hi to you." Flint said, grinning weakly and looking at Ashe.
