Len looked at Roy for a second, then snorted, bending his knees to crouch next to the other. Apparently he was okay with this although Roy would have to get up on the pegasus' back himself.
Anna took Soren's arm, leaning a bit on him to support herself. "I'm sorry, I'm kind of stupid sometimes," she admitted to him. "I'm not really very good at keeping myself safe. But, thank you, though, Soren." She beamed at him happily, then blinked as she realized what she'd forgot. "Oh! I didn't tell you who I am yet. My name's Anna!"

"Anna? I see," Soren replied as he adjusted to keep the two comfortable. "You really ought to watch your step... What's that?" He jerked his chin up in the general direction of that which had apparently tripped Anna. "A staff? And where are you going?"

"Yes, I should, but Tibarn was already fussing at me for trying to leave once..." Anna looked away for a minute. "I was, uh... rushing to go out that window before he caught me again. Nobody here is talking to me, so I got bored and I wanted to go out and find someone else." She smiled at Soren. "Uhm, but I guess I can't now, right? I don't know where that staff came from, it was just there. Maybe somebody else left it there."

"No, you definitely can't now," Soren responded with a sigh. "Just a moment." He reached for the staff with the hand that was already occupied with the Warp staff, either tugging Anna along or leaving her to stand for a few moments (dependent on how she reacted to the movement). Once Soren had both staves in possession he guided Anna away.
"If you want company so bad, how about you speak with me?" He fixed his eyes on the girl and offered a gentle smile. Loneliness was something he was not about to encourage.

Anna wobbled for a moment, without Soren's aid, and would have fallen over if she hadn't grabbed at his arm again just in time. "Ahh! I... uhm, whoops?" Her face turned a bit pink in embarassment. "I'm sorry, I'm clumsy today, I guess."
She stopped for a second when Soren offered to speak with her, then her fce lit up with happiness. "Oh! Well, yes! That, that'd be really nice!" She turned her face to him and smiled at him happily. "You see, I don't get to interact with everyone else very much, I'm usually in the background, so it's pretty rare that I actually get to come out and talk to people. And there's no point if nobody will talk to me."

The mage nodded in understanding. "Ah, yes. There is something about you that makes you blend into the furniture." He shrugged almost matter-of-factly though he took care not to drop the poor girl. Soren opened the door to a generic bedroom without occupants and waved himself in with Anna.
Soren allowed her to take the choice of sitting in the plush leather chair or the bed before closing the door. "There. Away from outside disturbance. Everyone's still in turmoil about the blizzard and the battle..." He dusted himself off with a hand, following the flicker of his bloodstained sleeve. "...while I have shaken it off perfectly well."

Anna looked a little stricken at that remark. Blended into the furniture? That... that wasn't what she tried for... she was supposed to have personality! So she would have to try harder from now on, she guessed, so that people would notice her.
The girl seated herself on the bed, then looked over at Soren confusedly. "Umm, battle? I guess I missed that... though I noticed the blizzard. Everybody's being so fussy about it, but it's not really that cold, is it? I mean... I was out in it and it wasn't so bad." Again, her clothing pointed to her either being insane or completely oblivious; probably the second. "But it's okay now, right? Won't the blizzard stop soon?"

Soren stared through the frosted window for a moment. He appeared to contemplate something, little notes of a peculiar song still chiming on the fringes of his mind. Then Soren turned his eyes on Anna, a nice little grin carved across his face.
"What, the blizzard?"
He pulled the window wide open, letting in a blast of death-tinted hail and snow, biting wind and screaming gusts.
"Well, I thought it was pretty cold. No wonder Tibarn tried to stop you from leaving!" Soren called over the howl of the storm. Still, he refused to shut the window just yet. He grinned defiantly at the blizzard, although deep beneath the surface disorder began to eat away at his insides again.

Indeed it was a frightful sight outside. Wind was blowing harshly, and snowing was flying everywhere. One probably couldn't see five feet in front of them. Yet, in the midst of this weather, a young girl was out enjoying herself, as if nothing was going on. The little girl knelt and played in the snow cheerfully, and giggled softly. Almost nobody seemed to notice her... except perhaps one man, who had just looked outside. As the winds picked up, her image vanished and her laughter faded away slowly, as if she was not even there. And was she truly there? Or.... perhaps it was merely the blizzard playing a joke with the eyes. One could not be sure.

Either he had glimpsed something or he really was a bit touched in the head. The grin vanished from Soren's face completely as he stared through the blizzard, squinting now through the winds that were invading the room. He could swear his ears detected the sound of quiet laughter in the voice of a child, while a vague form was blurred in the cold and ice pelting the walls. By then he would have shut the window since ice was being hurled against him.
The laughter and form seeped out of existence. He blinked hard and shook his head, wondering if it was proper for him to be experiencing more than one illusion in one day. First he had that dream, and now he was seeing and hearing things. Nevertheless Soren was fearful that it was no more illusion.
"Who's there!" he called into the storm.

Sue's eyes peeked open. She was surprised she could wake up this early, as the sun's rays never peeked through the thick clouds that now covered the FEF kingdom.
Yes, the blizzard had died down some... but the temperatures weren't warming.
It was still nearly nowhere close to weather she could actually fight in, to keep her mind clear enough to know when to dodge, use her bow, or sword, much less direct her mount.
"Another day inside." she sighed. She overheard the Younger Soren and Anna talking. "You're... awake too? Hey... we should make a strategy or something. I heard that Anna gave tacticians tips when they first started out, and Soren IS a tactician."

Finn had hid in the kitchen long enough. He emerged from the kitchen again, patting away dust that had collected at his tunic. He heard some people mention stew, so he quickly went to the person that had mentioned it. "Excuse me, do you still have any stew left? Me and another would like some in that case."
"Hngh...huh? What the...I fell asleep again?" Lance said as he sat up. He thought his nose would hurt, but it didn't. Had someone caught him?
Quickly looking around the room for any sign of Alihi, as he felt a need to apologize for dozing off in the middle of a conversation. He did see Alihi, but he immediately forgot himself when he saw who was with her.
"AAAAA-IIIIII-DAAAAAAN~!" he yelled out as he rose up with a spin, quickly moving to their side, then lunged himself at the tactician, making the two of them crash into the floor. "Finally someone that should recognise me! I've been so lonely! No one ever seems to know who I am anymore!" Lance wailed as fake tears streamed down his cheeks as he clung to the terror-stricken Aidan now.

Peering at lance oddly, Victoria raised an eyebrow to see him clinging to the male tactician so fondly...
"Does that mean they're..." The bishop didn't even want to complete her own sentence, and she shook the thoughts from her mind.

Isadora came back from the upstair after taking a hot bath. She was wearing a white wool sweater over her top. She wore a leggings under her long shirt too to keep her body warm. Isadora had left her armor on the bed for she didn't want to be cold by its texture.
She then went to the kitchen where she saw everyone. When she got herself a hot cup of cocoa, Isadora took a seat and took a sip from the cocoa. After a sip or two, she placed it down on the table and muttered to herself. "We need a plan to rescue Nino."
