Missy put her hand on her pistol after seeing his gun. "I'm sorry, but what to you expect. You cant blame me for being startled." Missy retorted. "How do you do, sir. My name is Missy." Missy said. "There is that better." She added sarcastically.

He smiled, showing his sharpened teeth. "Yeah, I'd say so. Sorry I just ran up on you like that, I was just out having a little fun." He saw her defensive body language and her hand nearing the handle of her gun. "You can hold my gun, I don't really need it right now anyway. To tell the truth, it's not even mine. There was a military armory near where I came from and this looked the best to me." He hadn't even fired it since he got it, but he had plenty of ammunition and seeing as how it was belt-fed, he didn't have to worry about it jamming. What was it that my uncle said? Oh yeah. "Life is unpredictable, so make sure your weapons aren't."

Missy relaxed a little. "I think ill pass, but maybe next time." Missy said while looking at his tattoos. She always loved tattoos. "So what do those represent?" Missy asked him while pointing at the tattoos on his arms.

"They are a symbol of my inner struggle. It's a me versus myself thing." He turned and showed her his back. "The black one represents the original me and the red one represents the anger within me. It drives me to do things that I know I'll regret. They're dragons because dragons are a symbol of grace and power. They command respect, almost to the point of seeming arrogant. I've been told that I sometimes share these qualities with them. If you see a creature with this tattoo, don't shoot it. That thing is me. The ink doesn't fade, no matter what I do."

Ian opened his eyes after a moment, looking out of the diner down the street. There appeared to be a newcomer to the group. This is getting a little more interesting." he thought to himself, getting up. He got up, looking around the diner. There was bound to be more useful supplies for the journey to the mall. First off...he needed a drink. Ian climbed over the counter, searching around as best he could until he found something he hadn't had in a long time. "Oh, ace." Ian said happily, pulling out a single bottle of probably flat beer. He walked to the barricade, sliding through, the popped off the cap, walking toward the group. "I thought we were headed to the mall." he said casually. "Do we have a plan?"

When Lithil first saw Orex, the stream of words that suddenly erupted from her mouth could barely be deciphered as: "Omigodit'sagiantlizard." She recoiled back, lower eyelid twitching and hands held out in a comically cartoonish gesture. Even she, the evolution machine, wasn't mentally prepared for something like this. Watching the odd exchange between Missy and this... Orex person, she gave him the same treatment she did Dan- suspicious glaring. However, the glare softened for a moment as realisation dawned on her dusty features. "Hey, he has a similar mutation to me!" She noted aloud, eyebrows raised in surprise. That doesn't mean he's a good guy. We already established the fact that there's a bunch of psychos using the unaffected to their own needs. Still, he did give up his gun...

A puzzled look crossed Orex's face as a lady who had clearly been startled by him blurted out a statement which left him feeling like he missed something. "What exactly do you mean by that?" He was pretty sure the outburst was unintentional, but that was no reason to disregard it.

Lithil blinked as she realised Orex was addressing her, ice eyes wide in momentary shock. She wasn't aware she had spoke her thoughts aloud, but quickly redrew her composure. "Umm... one of the side affects of not being turned into a drone is that you get a strange mutation thinger done to you. Like, some people read thoughts and stuff, or control elements. I dunno if you know this already, you probably do, but I'm just checking. Anyway," Lithil knew she was talking really quickly, but she had a tendancy to do so when startled or embarassed. "My, er, skill is really similar to yours, except I can't really do the whole 'make myself a lizard' thing." She waved her hands about.

"I haven't seen anyone besides these fleshbags since I bro..." He cleared his throat. "...left home. I knew nothing about other mutations. I've been killing stuff and enjoying life." He took a step and wobbled a bit. "Forgive me for being uneasy, but I've been a lizard for about two weeks now. Two legs aren't nearly as stable as four." He chuckled as his frustration slowly settled, then started to walk, falling back into the routine. Once he had gotten his human functions working again, he turned toward the blue-eyed wonder. "I'd like to see what you can do. Lizards aren't the only things that I can imitate."

"Seems pretty legit." Lithil remarked, scratching the back of her head. In her current 'relaxed' state she was relieved to know her spine was still there and not, say, curled up at the base of her jaw. She couldn't figure how it must be like to be a lizard- she was capable of thinking like a predator, sure, but she couldn't become cold-blooded at will. "You sure you can keep up, if you're thinkin' of copying my style?" She took a few steps forward into the battlefield, grinning over her shoulder at Orex. She paused a moment, arms wide and palms up, letting her evolution skill work its magic throughout her body. You could see the muscles ripple under her skin as they unraveled from her amino acid stores up along her bones, making her smooth skin writhe with the movement. Gross, yes, but kinda fascinating. Crouching low to the ground, Lith threw herself into the air, higher than any high-jumper on steroids, back arching. She landed squarely on her hands, rising up on one finger, suddenly leaping back into mind-numbingly fast backsprings in succession, finally finishing in a high-bounding mid-air summersault. She landed neatly on the balls of her feet with the posture of a gymnast. "Just a preview." She said through shallow gasps for breath, grinning.

Missy was pondering over the tattoos while Lithil showed off. She laughed at Lithil, well not really at her. She laughed at the fact that her and Lithil had so much in commen and she thought it was slightly funny.

Ian sat inside a bus stop with the glass broken, watching the exchanged between the newcomer and Lithil. He took a large swig of the beer, watching her fly through the air. Ian put the bottle down when she was finished, clapping his hands. "Well done." he said with a grin. "So, Sheila, is that it? A few tricks an advanced free runner could do?" he asked, laughing. "I'll admit the speed is fast, but come on, mate, I've seen people do similar things...though a little slower."

Missy laughed at what Ian had said. "I would like to see you try that Ian." Missy said to him playfully. She noticed the beer he put down and smiled. "If you want the good stuff, My bag has homemade beer in it." She said while turnign to watch Lithil's reaction to Ians comment. 'This should be fun' She commented in her head. She walked over to Virgil's body were it lay still. 'He must have got hit hard.' She thought while sitting nest to him. She pulled a couple of hunks of grass that were around the concret and made a make shift pillow. She gentaly lifted up his head and placed the pillow-ish thing under his head.

Dan was watching the events fold out infront of him. This is quite a weird group. He looked over to see Missy tending to a guy that looked like he had passed out. He noticede that she cared for the man like a mother would a child. He tilted his head slightly and tried to think about how life was before he was captured, but he couldnt. He didnt remeber anything from his past, and that bothered him.

Lithil stuck her tongue out at Ian. Even though her body could lie at ease and make it seem like she was far older, there was moments like this where her younger mentality showed through. Pouting, she retorted: "Hey, I couldn't do that before. Is it wrong that I'm proud of that?" She sighed. "But, if you do wish for an encore, I suh-pose I could oblige... Now, lessee..." She glanced around the battlefield, folding her arms. "Ah!" Plucking out a pair of pipes from her arsenal, she checked the chain strung between the two and hurled it at a nearby car wreck. Well, usually hurled or any other variation of 'throw' usually implies that the thrower lets go, but... Dear god, arms should never be able stretch that far! The pipes wrapped around the bar of metal between front-seat-window and back-seat-window and her hand mutated to catch it after it wrapped the chain around twice. Digging her heels in, she put her back into dragging the car towards her. The car protested for a moment, maybe trying to reason that normally, teenage girls shouldn't be able to move it, but Lithil's new muscle mass argued differently. Her arm still stretched out like Silly Putty, she hauled the car into the air in an arc over her head. At the apex of this, she let go of the pipes and sent the car flying overhead into the rooftops where it promptly crashed and burned. Reeling her arm in like some kind of weird fisherman, Lithil winced. "Never get used to that..." She muttered, shaking out her arm until it regained normality. Turning to the Australian, she raised an eyebrow. "Good enough?"

"That was quite a beautiful display. I doubt I could pull that off. I'm more of the 'break stuff' type." He dropped to his knees and slapped the ground with his palms, letting his flesh ripple from his hands out. The change swept up his arms and then all over. His form had shifted not fully toward a lizard, but somewhere in between.
He still stood upright and the tail was shorter and more flexible. He had a thinner, more muscular torso, leading up to a head built like a komodo. His arms were long and quite built. He stood at about ten feet even and had about a twelve foot arm span. The tattoos were still on his now slick skin, right where they had been. He began to speak, but this time it came out sounding low and rough, more like a growl. "I'll see what I can do." He backed down the street about thirty feet, then got a running start. To tell the truth, it was more like jogging.
He began with a hop, then sprung off his toes into a handspring. He used the airtime to twist until he was backwards. He then landed on his feet and continued the sequence with two reverse somersaults and ending with a handspring into a double backflip twist. He landed smoothly with no bounce, step, or wobble. "I know, it was terrible. I told you I couldn't do it. Also, there's no way I would whip a car with a dislocated arm. That's just asking for trouble. I will, however, toss one."
He put his hand under the edge of a nearby car and flipped it over, then grabbed the drive shaft and picked the car up with one hand and hurled it out of sight, not that someone could see very well in the horrible conditions around this city. An explosion could be seen a few hundred yards down the street.
