Ed stared on. The snowball fight had shaken her up enough. She had fun with it, but watching an FEFer who resembled her counterpart in almost every way bleed from the head was not comforting. The wolf stared at Victoria, one of those who had almost been caught up in the snowball fight.
Then Ed picked herself up. She turned around, feeling less than bright for the first time in ages, and walked away from the lake. Her little wolf paws left behind a trail of distinguishable pawprints in the snow.
Folding her ears, Ed began to wonder if something was wrong here. And where had Rath gone? Alihi, at least, had returned to them.

"Mm," Blossom responded noncommittally. She looked up at the sky, seeing the flakes drifting down, then back at Rie. "I wish he'd have come. It would've been even more fun." Blossom reached up with one hand and pushed her hair away from her face.

Blossom giggled and watched Rei walk away. He looked insulted, but he seemed to recover quickly. "He'll be fine. I'm sure of it. It was just a snowball, after all. Nothin' permanent." Blossom looked over at Alihi and smiled.

He walked out from behind the tree, and over to the female tactician.
"Ah. If it isn't the princess from before! And look, you brought friends! Isn't that nice. Except for the... er... scruffy looking guy right there." he said, gesturing towards Aidan.
"My fair damsels, I fear that I failed to introduce myself. My name is Zelos Wilder, and I am the Chosen of Tethe'alla. Now, if I could be graced with your names?" This time, he gestured towards Blossom and Rie.

Blossom looked over at Rei curiously. When had he obtained that redhead wig? It was an interesting costume, granted. But how dare he call Aidan scruffy?
Sure, his clothes were rumpled sometimes, and his hair really screamed for a cut (though if Blossom had any say in the matter, no sharp object would get anywhere near that head of his, much less his hair), and he always had that battered, patched bag of is, and...
...What was the point?
Blossom snapped back to reality as Zel-- Rei addressed her. "...You know my name," she said, blinking innocently. "You should know. Are you feeling okay?"

Alihi twitched, hearing the voice. "Oh god... not this again..."
"Zelos... why won't it get through to you that I am not a princess?" She rested her forehead in the palm of her hand out of frustration.
"Blossom, he isn't Rei right now. He's a player. And there's no other way to put it, either."

Blossom blinked. "But... he is Rei. He's just wearing a suit and a wig. And carrying a sword he probably doesn't know how to use. How is he not Rei once he's put on a suit? Would I be someone else if I put on a suit?" Blossom looked back at Ze-- Rei curiously. "And Alihi's not a princess. She doesn't wear a dress. And as far as I know she's not related to nobility. You aren't, Alihi, right?"

Alihi shook her head. "I'm not related to any nobility. And what I meant by 'he isn't Rei right now' is that he isn't that persona. It's like..." She rested her chin in the palm of her hand.
"... It's like he's playing Pretend. Taking on the persona of Zelos whatever-his-last-name-is and acting and dressing as him."

Isamu looked at Rei/Zelos weirdly. It was odd to him. He walked over to him and handed him a note. 'Weren't you a green hair person with a book about 5 minutes ago?'
