"I WASN'T EXPECTING YOU TO STRIP RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!!" Teresia screamed into the shirt, but her voice was still audible to most. "I need time... for mind.. to mend itself... from an elven anomaly! Please respect a sheltered princess's frame of mind when doing something like... like.. like that!"

Capell laughed at her request, considering it was a bit too late. "Sorry, princess, I grew up in the Slums, this was no big deal back home." He responded with a smile, even though she couldn't see. He sat down beside the water as she regained herself.

Teresia lifted her head, squeezed her eyes shut, and yelled, "YEAH WELL I'M NOT GIVING THIS BACK THEN YOU PEASANT!" Arethusa splashed him with her long, mermaid-like tail as if she were reprimanding him.

With the combination of the splash and the humor found in that sentence, Capell dropped to the floor and starting rolling on the floor, laughing. "Is that so, ma'am? Quite right. Shall I start your bath, or perhaps get you something to read, madam?" He asked as he stood up again. Sykes was focused on Arethusa, who reminded Sykes of himself, only bigger.

"Oh, yes please. I'd like the water to be at the boiling point, and don't forget the lavender bath salts! I'd also like my pink silk robe with daffodils embroidered on it. There's also the fine jasmine tea imported from overseas and I also want those tiny little tea cakes to go with it!" Teresia demanded sarcastically while rolling her eyes.

Capell nodded and bowed as she demanded such things. "I'm terribly sorry to inform you of this, your highness..." He started off. He quickly grabbed the bucket beside the pond, filled it up and tossed it at her. "But the bath's going to be a bit chilly tonight!" He yelled with a laugh.

Teresia glared at Capell and lunged at him, knocking them both into the ice-cold pond water. Arethusa swam away gracefully and looked at them curiously. The sound of Teresia's earsplitting shriek filled the night air. "I CAN'T BELIEVE I JUST DID THAT! I CAN'T BELIEVE I'M BATHING WITH A MAN!!"

Capell could obviously see that this was troubling her, so he kept his composure and asked her without any sarcasm. "I take it you really are some sort of princess, aren't you?" He laughed a little at how silly the question sounded, but it sounded right in his head. "You seem a little too jumpy at the fact that you're in a POND, a giant puddle of water, and you still think you're bathing with a man."

Teresia's face was turning redder with each passing moment. "If you think that THE Count Dracula's granddaughter isn't a princess, then I don't know what is!" she yelled, blushing and slapped him across the face... again. "I'm sorry for saving your sorry life!"

He took the hit and processed the thought that he, Capell Strife, had actually just bitten the granddaughter of Count Dracula, the first registered vampire to the world. "Wow... Um... Yeah." He couldn't think of anything to say. It was a lot of stuff to take it, when he thought about it. His first kiss? Dracula's granddaughter. Person who saved his life? Dracula's granddaughter. First Vampire bite? You get the picture. "Well... I'm not sorry you saved my life, I'm still pretty grateful for that." He finally said with a smile. He concluded that if it wasn't that extreme or important when he didn't know she was royalty, then it shouldn't be any different when he knew that Teresia was royalty.

"Teresia von Leferre is my full name, though I won't say I'm royalty. Count Dracula's daughter, my mother, married into the house of Leferre," she said dismissingly, ignoring Capell's blubberings. "I'm the crazed one in the family, as they all think. Prostituting themselves for blood and wealth. Killing innocent people for the sake of blood. Conflicting with the werewolves so much that the hatred was bred into our lines!" Teresia said ruefully as she dragged herself out of the water and tried to preserve her feminine dignity by clutching her tattered shirt to herself.

He stayed in the water as she got out, god forbid he get hit again. "Sounds like someone's in a bit of a pickle. Is that why you go around as a healer? To make up your what your family's done?" He asked out of his curiosity, which he was sure at this point would be the death of him.

"It's none of your business!" Teresia yelled again, throwing the bucket at his head. She turned on her heel and glared down at him. "The reason why you, Capell Strife, are alive right now is because I will it. I can end your fragile life so very easily," she hissed menacingly, her pointed teeth bared.

"Oh ho, sounds like someone's got a resentment towards someone." Capell taunted as he got out of the water. He had his usual smile on his face, but his eyes gave a glare as if to say he'd shut her up if he had to. "For the record, what your family's done doesn't determine what you'll have to do for the rest of your life, so stop thinking you have to act this way because your royalty or because your family screwed stuff up. Big deal."

"It's none of your business!" Teresia repeated flatly. "I choose to do what I do, I'm not doing this out of responsibility, I'm doing this because it means something to me, myself! So what if I like helping people? So what what if I want to feel needed?!" she screamed, tears streaming again. "All I ever felt like was marriage fodder! I don't want to be a doll put up for display! Why else do you think I kept all these hideous scars?! Why else do you think I threw away my nobility?!" Her fingernails began digging into her bare skin, sending down rivulets of blood.
