Oh, hey! Look!  I figured since we're basically going into a large battle, why not do up a suit of battle armor for Sam? I'm figuring this is how he'll look from now on too...

that's what I was thinking too, but; Celtic warriors wore leather overskirts as armor. Celtic is basically Irish, British, and Scottish(And Gaul, and Roman, and Arab, and Asian, and German...).
And, now to more prevelent issues: Marcus and what to do.
Really this is the best opportunity I've had to bring him in, and I did say he was a short term character. It's either this, or something else. New bad guy maybe? It's your call.

Well, it might be good to have an extra villain back in Paris. A few less active people are around there still. Jynx, Nushi, Julio, ect. Idk...I figured that even if most go to DeLeon there should be people back in Paris so that time doesn't basically stop there.

Ace could easily make those armors while in "Straven's hideout"
Over the years, he learned how to make armor.
Useally only his own size. But he could try. Right?

I think I know what Priya means.
I discussed it with her on MSN earlier.
She practically means, that instead of having a boring "Let's go south. West now...
Now south-west " thing. We skip a to a town away from the location. The mountain.
It saves time, and a lot of boredom. And, we don't really know how to travel there. We'll have to use real maps. And that'd mess up the RP. Because our Paris isn't the same as the real Paris in that time.

There is also an in-between option if anyone wishes to consider it. Yuuske has a kind of teleporting power? Well, sort of but not exactly. Anyways, we could have him take us as far as the city of Lyon which is a little south of Mont Blanc.

whatever I guess...but a few comments, because I'm not sure where you guys are getting the map thing
Cobra had planned to simply wait for the distraction, then lead everyone directly to a sewer where they could follow the path down a bit until he met up with them and led them to the safe area.
Then there izs the whole thing with Salem and Straven, they are both supposed to have events occur and Cobra is suppose to be with them.
...are you guys saying you want to fast forward? Because I'm going to be posting in two different time frames at this point, which i can certainly do, its jsut that i dont think anyone else saw it, because Cobra is the only character involved in both the current and would be future scenario.
I dont really care though, if you guys want that's fine...but I thought we were using the teleportation thing anyways. I fiogured it take sa while to summon a pinpoint portal, so we would all get to a safe area, summon the portal and go, but that Cobra's fighting off the guards with the others would buy you time to do that. I dont know anything about Yuuske's abilities though)

We'll do it later. We have to get to the hideout... And make strategy plans and stuff first now.
Also. Priya. Have I got permission to make and use that new character already, so that I won't be RPing all alone.."cuz everyone will be in Deleon?

I was speaking by what Thymen wrote. First go underground to think over plans and explain DeLeon THEN we head there by whatever means[time skip, teleport, or go across France.
We mentioned a map because DeLeon is on the other side of Paris[On the border with Italy] so quite far from Paris and we'd have to familiarize ourselves with France a lot more to pull off traveling like that.
And yes Thymen, you have permission.

Thymen- go ahead, hell, I could do it(IRL) it's just chainmail between two sheets of Cloth armor(Google "linen Cuirass".) and "Plates" of boiled leather stitched to an overskirt. It'd be better if the veil was actually black though...
Cobra- you've got a point there, skipping time might f**k-up whatever he's got planned.
Priya- going across france on horseback is actually a very serene trip. Might also give everyone a little more time for character development.

A time skip at this point may not be the best idea. Armor sounds good Thy. Also, some characters already a part of the story have yet to even be introduced officially to the other characters *cough*. We need a little bit more time for character development before we reach the mountain. With my character for example, Havessa just got pulled along for the ride, none of the other characters even know her name, let alone the other way around. No jumping into things too soon.

Yes Yuuske does know, as she just said it look at her post back on page 233, he says "I am the true Queen of the Snow Kindom, also called the Kingdom of DeLeon." and I don't quite remember but she or someone else did mention that she is Allure, but I will have him formally introduce himself to her.. infact I will edit the last post to include the introduction.
