✮ It Takes A Lot To Know A Person:
xxxxx Amrita is a gentle soul, afraid of conflict and strife. She abhors battle, and is strictly a pacifist as long as she retains control of herself. When in life-threatening danger or trying to protect someone, she may fully revert to the form of a small-ish albino dragon whelp, and in that form she acts purely upon instinct, lashing out with her fiery breath easily. She's completely mute, and has some difficulty with facial expressions as well. This saddens her, as she would love to have lots of friends to spend time with and also protect.
However, all the while she's somewhat afraid of her dragon blood, afraid of losing control of her power.. and most of all, afraid of being discovered, and hated for who she is. Therefore she attempts to hide her draconic traits the best she can.✮ History Lesson ✮ ✮ The Good Old Days:
xxxxx The Brood were once a nomadic tribe of dragon-people, living at the outskirts of the Desert of Death, mostly keeping to themselves. However, their great power evoked the jealousy, fear and wrath of an overzealous Goddess, who condemned the Brood to be wiped off the surface of the planet. A great war followed, as the Goddess's followers were led to believe the dragons were trying to destroy the world - though nothing could have been further from the truth. Many of their tribesmen were slaughtered without mercy, without even putting up a fight, as the Brood as a people are opposed to violence.
Those who wished to survive fled underground, many choosing to give up their ability to take on the form of a dragon and live on as ordinary people. A few children who they'd attempted to send away, to safety, away from the raging war, ended up trapped within magical Chrysm ore, sealed there in a deep slumber for centuries.
Amrita was one such child.
She recently awoke when an excavation team dug her up, first thinking her to be dead.. upon awakening she quickly fled, terrified that she would be captured. Despite not having seen much of the battle, she retains a deep fear and distrust of people, and continues to live mostly in hiding.
