She smiled and said, "You'll find out when it's time for us to go." Asuard raised one finger up to her joyous lips and said, "For now, you'll just have to guess to yourself." She gave a short chuckle and then smiled.

Bran laughed "Fair enough." He said as he took a seat in one of the chairs "Just have to be a surprise then eh?" He asked as he looked to ruckus "What about you?"

Asuard walked pass the two and found herself a seat. She turned to the two and listened to them for now. She knew that this wasn't a party where she could enjoy herself, she just liked to make the best out of the situation.

Bran looked at Asuard, he was thinking it could be seen in his eyes she was a very attractive lith and if she didn't know it, it could be told by the way he looks at her.

Asuard noticed the way Bran had been staring at her and then tried breaking his stare with a sudden smile. She knew that the only female lith Bran had ever seen was just Athlyn, but seeing how interest he seemed to be into Asuard herself, she couldn't help but try to get him to talk more to her. She wanted to be more comfortable with him, but sometimes it was hard because she would run out of things to say. She tried to stay away from narrow subjects, but then she couldn't find any broad ones either. Then a thought hit her, "What do you usually do here in the human city?"

Bran smiled "Nothing really I usually just read about the humans and their pasts, a very hostile race they are. I have to ask you this, what is your clan like?" Bran asked in a curious voice

She blinked at him surprised and then replied, "My clan? Well, as I know it, it's pretty peacful there." Asuard smiled and continued, "As you had known, we were hidden away for years. Being so undisturbed, we became stronger and more organized than when the clan was first built. Everyone there live happy lives, no one dears leave the clan or put it at risk." She looked down, "But I left, because I wanted to bring you away from the chaos that was taking place. After hearing about how corrupted Victor's clan came to be, I thought it would end there, but no, he came and destroyed your clan too. Even though my clan is of full lith and will not accept anyone who isn't a full lith, I thought that it was enough...what Victor was doing was destroying the race of liths, we can't have that, no, not when the hunter angels are already trying to do that."

Bran nodded "So how are they accepting you as a leader if you've put your clan in danger?" He asked "My clan was all about fighting but they died on false hopes I wish I could have changed it."

She shook her head gently and said, "I haven't put them in danger. I have not led any outsider into the clan, the only outsider I wanted to bring into the clan was you, where we could support you there until your own clan start to reborn there." Asuard looked at him and said, "How can you have change it? Abandon Athlyn? Or to be able to prevent her from becoming what she is now?"

Bran shook his head abit closing his eyes evidently beating himself up about it "My men died thinking that she would bring a child of lith into this world." He said "But Ruckus informed me of what would really happen...she can't carry a lith child...and I promised to protect her but now...seeing how she can't even respect us enough to stay here where its safe, I don't know what to think."

Her hand slowly rose up to touch her ruby necklace, as she watched him. Asuard stood up and walked over to Bran, her hand reached out to touch the side of his face for the very first time. She lightly tilt her head to one side and gave him a gentle smile, "Your men died thinking you would have a lith child. They will have what they want."
