The plants told Sandra about there being more heavy rain and heavy pieces on them, but the elf barely heard them. She was on the verge of sleep but her magic buzzing through her kept her awake and it gave out energy as was appropriate to the plants. Shiki would have been able to see them still growing and changing. The ivy returned to the places they had previously held.

 Shiki noticed that there was no more enemies around and the evil presence faded away. Shiki cautiously looked around and then jumped back when he saw all the blood, "I know this was what I intended...But if I can't remember it..." Oh great, not again, Shiki thought. He looked at his knife and retracted the blade. He needed to bathe himself before going back to see Sandra, so he walked away from the bloody scene and looked for a pond or something.

A few moments after Shiki left the plants resettled themselves and stilled.
Back in their hotel room, Sandra finally faded into unconsciousness as the magic ceased to flow from her. She thought that she was having a very strange dream.

Still with his glasses removed, he found a small brook running through the forest. He started to clean himself and wash the blood from his clothing.

Sandra curled up with her head resting on her arms and her nose stuck into the crook of her elbow. She looked very peaceful as she slept. Using magic from so far away had taken a lot out of her.

 "Assassin, huh?" Shiki muttered as he finished drying all of his clothing. He put his glasses on, then pulled his clothes back on and went back into town. He looked around and realized that it was already pretty late. So he hurried to the hotel and back into the room they booked out, finding Sandra there asleep. He was glad. At least he didn't have to explain anything to her. So he silently kicked off his shoes and climbed into his own bed with all of his clothing on. He didn't have anything else to wear anyway and now it was all pretty clean. His eyes drifted closed and he soon wandered off to sleep.

Sandra slept until the sun shown in the window and onto her face. She stirred a little before opening her eyes and sitting up. She had had a very very strange dream. She figured she should be thankful she got so much sleep because she is usually restless when she's inside. She glanced over and Shiki and saw that he was still asleep so she quietly reached for her bag, trying not to wake him.

(lol) Shiki was lying down on his back the whole night; partially because of the injury he had gotten that night, partially because he normally sleeps on his back anyway. But it looked like he was experiencing a nightmare. His hands occasionally twitched.

Sandra quietly dug through her bag, looking for something. Finally she pulled out a hair brush and started to work on her hair. It seemed more tangled than usual and she wanted it to be smooth again.

Eventually Shiki forced himself to wake up. He couldn't stand seeing that nightmare. But since he saw one, that meant that Len didn't visit them that night, "I wonder where she went...?" He pondered as he calmed himself down a little. He sat up on the bed and looked around, spotting Sandra, "Good morning," He greeted.

"Good morning," Sandra replied as she finished brushing her hair. She stowed the hairbrush back in her bag. "Did you sleep well?" she asked him politely.

"I had a weird dream," Sandra said, looking a little troubled. She didn't know what it meant because it seemed too vivid to be just some invention of her subconscious. "So, did your whatever-you-were-doing go well last night?"

Shiki flinched, "Uh...Yeah. It went well. Don't worry," He said, "And what kind of dream was it besides 'weird'? Anything you want to talk about?" He asked.

"I don't know," Sandra said, looking thoughtful. "I don't exactly understand everything that happened." She was silent for a moment before continuing. "It was almost like I was some large plant but I wasn't just one type, I was a lot of types. Anyways, there was this heavy rain or something. It was wet, like water, but it was too metallic to be water." She paused again. "Then people were stepping on me so i reinforced myself but they wouldn't stop so i used vines to grab them. then... it gets really weird..."
