She grinned "Thank you... I'll let him know you wish him the best as well.." Inwardly she rolled her eyes. They obviously liked each other but as long as Allie was stubborn there was no much she could do... except maybe... help Fier move on..

Fier was camped out along the river staring blankly at his reflection while his brain worked overtime. He didn't get it. Allie was Allie - dating didn't really fit with her. "I mean, I know she's beautiful - everyone knows that, that's the way it's always been. And I guess she could kinda balance me...she's ice and cold and thinks and I'm fire and hot and action..."
