((Eh, wrong usage of words there then. Impenetrable means that nothing can break/cut/etc. it, which is false since it's Genjutsu. You're taking the technique out of context if you mean it the way you said it.

If you're going with the usage of it as in it being dense, again, wrong usage since that pertains to light and not something physical.

Now, you can say it's dark and hard to make your way around unless you do a Genjutsu release. Which would have made sense both the anime and manga...
