Synthic chuckled, "I guess it's too sweet for you. I don't have any other kinds of candy here though," She said apologetically. She had a feeling that she would have to really try if she wanted him to taste candy again. Usually the first experience with anything is the lasting impression.
She then offered another candy to Renata, not wanting the girl to be left out.

His head was pounding, which was a very bad thing for a spell caster. It meant he wouldn't be able to concentrate as well on his spells, meaning they might go out of control and do something unexpected. Not that he expected to do any spell casting anytime soon, but a headache wasn't a pleasant thing anyway. ☆✰★ Theƒσσℓ will look at the fingertip ✩

Some Might Say... Natalia hopped over to the piece that the wolf had spat out. Undaunted by the fact that it was covered in the hound's saliva, she took a tentative lick of it. It was an interesting thing. Mostly sugar. It didn't really taste that grand, but sugar was always an enjoyably quick acting form of energy. She decided not to have any more, now that she knew what it was. It was best for her not to get on a sugar high. ...The Saddest of Pandas

Renata grinned, "Thanks!" she exclaimed happily. She hadn't had candy in forever. The only sweets she had had in a while, was what Synthic had offered her and Daniel at the hotel, th-... Daniel... no... she was going to try not to think about it... try... trying... something else. The candy right! it was delicious. She had quickly unwrapped it and popped it into her mouth with delight, looking to Durihill. "Well have you ever had sugar before?" she asked curiously.

"Only the sugars present in things like meat and plants." he muttered, knowing now what it was that had caused his headache. Not that knowing would be able to help him. But the cookies that other girl gave him had sugar in them, didn't they? Well it must not have been in as concentrated a form as this, so he was able to process them without curling up in pain. ☆✰★ Theƒσσℓ will look at the fingertip ✩

Yuu finished the candy and swallowed it hastily. It was quite good, he'd have to get some out of Milo. That is, if he ever saw him again. But he tried not to think about that. He wondered again if the rabbit was anything special as it went for the salvated candy. There wasn't much reason to take a normal rabbit with them, and every other animal, dispite that Durithill was actually a human, was not a natural animal. But he decided not to speak with it, and lying back down, listened to the people talk once more.

"Oh..." Ren said softly in reply. That explained it. She was used to sugar in the sense, she loved fruit and growing her younger years up in Serenity Forest, there was lots of fruits which had lots of sugar. Even some veggies were loaded with sugars, which most people didn't even know. She watched Yuu licking at the candy as well as Natalia. Something made her curious; most animals spoke even if regular humans didn't understand them. But Yuu hadn't, so... she wasn't sure what to make of that. "Do you speak?" she asked Yuu, hoping he understood her. Most animals understood humans, most she had met. She just hoped if he replied, she understood his dialect.

Yuu looked up at the girl who had addressed him. He looked to Durithill and told him telepathically 'Tell her I can speak, but only to animals, and only telepathically. I lack vocal cords.' He said. 'Oh, and tell her I saw her before, at Deralo Castle.' He added.

The voice seemed to resonate in his skull, causing his headache to come back full force. "Make the rabbit the messenger... Some Might Say... Natalia looked at Yuu and wondered what the answer was. The fellow animal seemed to be looking at the wolf intently. Telepathic communication, perhaps? She hopped over to Yuu and sniffed him lightly. ...The Saddest of Pandas

Yuu looked down at the rabbit casually, which was now sniffing him. 'Fine, since you're in such pain.' He thought to himself. 'So the wish girl speaks rabbit, does she?' Yuu addressed the rabbit telepathically. 'Mind speaking in my place to her?' He proposed.

'Well, just tell her I /can/ talk, just not to her kind. I lack sufficient vocal cords.' Yuu said, turning away now. It was only partially true, as Milo could understand him, and he was human....partially. But it was barely relevant, and he left it out.

Renata listened to Natalia chatter away in regards to repeating what Yuu had just said. Making sure she ran it through twice, since she was still getting used to the dialect and enunciation of certain words, before replying. "What type of dog or wolf do you speak? If it's the common form I think I'll understand it, as long as you don't go too fast," she said with a small laugh. Funny how he said your kind, when her kind wasn't exactly-typical, even if she looked human from her father warlock side.
