Rya blushed as she was turned. She didnt know what to do at this point. She didnt want to displease her master.

Pre had finally left her memories in the fortress in ruins. The black flames that engulfed the forest had died down, leaving only the charred remains; what her insane self remembered most vividly.
She danced over to the charred tree trunk and sat down atop of it. She felt satisfied for doing this.

Rya gulped to keep herself from stuttering. "Yes, master." She spoke softly.

Pre looked around to see if there were any ways out. Using a complicated chant she found out that escape is impossible for someone of her stature. She also found out in the same instant that disobeying Jesse means certain death; if he is capable of leaving this fortress while she's not.
Her eyes wandered down to see the medallion on her chest. It was supposed to keep the taint of the fortress away, but she was tainted anyway for being too far away from nature. She pulled the amulet off her chest for a moment to see what would happen. After a minute or so, she didn't feel any different, so she left the amulet in her hand. She inspected it closely.

There was a knock on the Door. "What is It?" A specter phased through the door, dropped an envelope in his lap, and Left. He slit it open, and sat Up. "A masquerade Ball? Haven't been to one in Centuries!"

Pre received a knock on the door to her room, "Yes?" She asked.
A black crow demon fluttered into the room and handed her an envelope. She looked a little surprised, but thanked it and sent it on its' way.
"What could this be...?" Pre wondered and checked the envelope, "No name on it..." She speculated and opened the envelope cautiously.
Inside was a card with some words written down in a language she didn't understand, "I can't read this... What language is this in anyway?" Pre wondered and inspected the card.

He replaced his arm, and looked through a Closet. "Hmm...Black on black, with a black cape..Nah. Too Showy." He looked for a few more Seconds. "Perfect! definitely black on black with a black Cape!" He strode over, and pulled his favorite mask from a Box. It was intimidating, to say the Least.

Pre continued to study the weird card she got. She didn't know whether it was an invitation of some sort or a challenge letter. It was almost a mockery to her; she can only speak the language of this planet, but she can't read it.
She finally stood up and exited her room. After a few minutes, she located the room where Jesse and Rya were.
She knocked on the closed door, hoping she didn't intrude on something, "May I come in?" She asked.

Pre entered silently, with her hands in front of her crossed. Her black wings fluttered slowly, "Sensei, I have received an odd letter, but I can't read it. Could I trouble you to read it for me?" Pre requested and handed the invitation to Jesse.

"It's an invitation to a Masquerade Ball. Seems..the Fifteenth, Deralo Castle." He smiled, taking her Hand. "How do I Look?" He was avery vain creature, got up in black, and a rather plain iron Mask.

Pre studied his clothing for a few moments, then spoke up, "You look very frightening Sensei. You will certainly stand out at the Ball," Pre said. She was kind of curious about what he planned on doing while he was there, but decided that for now she shouldn't question it.
