Sed: Aaaaahgh!

*Not being able to dodge the attack from all the concentrated attacks, he backs away from the fight into the field of asteroids.*

Dan, I'm going back on Darkness. HH won't last another one of those!

Dan: Pathetic. I'll take care of that other guy!

*He boosts his way directly towards Freyja, his Beam Saber in hand, and manages to get it's left foot from the strike.*

Feh. A foot. Next, it'll be an arm!

Leowen quickly looked down at the AI screen to see how it was doing. Unfortunatly its tageting curso began flying around the screen before locking onto absolutely nothing off in another direction. ATTACK blinked on its screen as its justs fired randomly and flew off, spiraling away towards its non-existant target.

"Damnit! Piece of s**t!"

Leowen raged as he pulled around to face the enemy mechs

"Once I kick your asses then Ill go get that piece of s**t. Come on! Show me what you've got!"

Dan: Sed, you get that guy that just left. As for you..

*He turns to Viator.*

Seems like your buddy just left you. Let's see how you'll do against me now.

*Just then, the Aqua Valiance would emerge itself into view from the Hyper Gate.*

Navigator B: Captain, there seems to be a combat signal just ahead. Two Vanguardian Identification and three which seems to be pirate units.

Get the missiles ready for launch, and go help the Vanguardian Units. Where are the Vanguardian Patrol Force? Send a signal to the Patrol Force. Open a transmission to all units there.

Transmission opened.

This is the Aqua Valiance of Grand Vanguard. Prepare to be captured, pirates. If you resist, expect to be destroyed.

Jeln: s**t! That's a carrier ship! Dan, Sed, we're gettin' the hell outta here!

Sed: Dan, hurry up and get on board before they catch up on us.

Hell, I ain't leaving until I get something to take back with me!

You greedy b*****d! Just grab that foot and get out of here!!

Damn them..

*He grabs the foot of Freyja and docks back in the Sky Darkness with Sed, and leaves the space immediately through a Hyper Jump.

The pirate units have just left Grand Vanguard Space, along with one Vangaurdian unit that seemed to left within our range.

Open Transmission to remaining Vanguardian Unit.

*Open Transmission.* Report. What are the conditions?

*sees a gun on the ground with no ammo* This could be useful...need ammo though. *looks around* Who is here?

*At the docking bay, an Armored Module was being transported from a separate floor of the docking bay.

The pilot, Yuri, pilots the Alterion to an open area, where the Aqua Valiance is scheduled to dock at. Once in place, she starts to think to herself in the cockpit of Alterion.*

( I knew that this day would come some day, but.. Who knew that it would happen here as well.. ? This is just like 5 years ago..

... Mother.. )

-------------------------------------------------------------------

*Transmission.* I'm going to be taking my Huckebein Mk-III with me along with the AM Gunner and AM Boxer parts on board.

GV Crew A: Yes, sir. We will have them at the docks as well. Also, are you sure that you do not need our escorts on your way?

No, that will be fine. The Valiance will be fine. If we are going some place far, then I will ask for your assistance. All we are doing as of now are to help transporting things. Besides, I'm sure you will need your ships for patrols around here in case the Renegades may come to attack.

Yes, sir.

That will be all. *Ends transmission.*

Squawk. o.o *Looks around curiously from Locke's shoulder, at it's surroundings.*

(OOC: I got a little...stong with the language so just highlight it to see it, if you dont wanna see it then dont read it)

Leowen look at the screen

*Open Transmission.* Report. What are the conditions?

The next thing that popped up on the Com officer's screen made him fall from his chair, though it was not the thud as the Officer hit the floor that made the rest of the room turn to him. On the screen was a very angry Mech Engineer roaring with anger in a fit of rage while spewing every known curse known curse to man and alien alike.

>>"...God damnit....sone of a bit.....WHAT?!.....Conditions?! Are you F..king stupid?! You're god damn, half assed machine, that cant do s**t just flew off with MY mech right before it got stolen by some junkyard pirates!! I want some damn good compensation for losses! Tell that ******** Locke that he better be paying for repairs to my Mech! I came here on a fuc...."<<

The Com officer stumbled back to his station and stammered into the mic "Sir, Please enter Bay 7, a...er....higher ranking officer will speak with you there" Right as he closed the transmission.

"AH! DAMNIT!" Leowen slammed his fists into the Mech's controlls sending sparks flying. "RAAA!" Grabbing the controlls and fired his rockets and piloting into the Carrier's Bay 7.

Navigator B: *Sighs at the sight of Leowen's transmission.*

That's ol' Leowen.. Sir, Viator has docked on board.

Alright. Take the Valiance back to Grand Vanguard. Navigator, send a search team here for Leowen's lost mech, incase it may still be floating about. We can't afford to lose that unit if it what I think it is. I will find out when we get back.

Pilot A: Yes, sir.

*The Aqua Valiance turns it's direction towards the hangars of Grand Vanguard, busy of patrol and defense fleets, empty of trader ships.*

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sed: See how we shouldn't have bothered with some mechs? That's why us pirates don't attack mechs! They're a pain to take down as compared to trader ships, and trader ships have more goods for us to steal! What the heck did we get from that fight? A FOOT?!

Dan: Aw, CAN IT ALREADY!! I didn't think them Vanguards would come out of their gate! Besides, I don't see you coming back with anything in your hands!

Are you asking for a fight?! I can't stand you, you know that?! When we get to that Hideout, I'm leaving this ship to join a better pirate group! It's better being stuck here with you and your judgement!

Jeln: Hey, cool it! You two have work to do!

If it's for repairing this ship, I'm refusing! There's no point doing anything for this ship if I'm leaving. I'm taking my Hyper Half and find a new group to work with. Hell, I'll start my own group if I have to.

Alright then. Hey, Dan! Go pick up that mech that you were fighting earlier, that's floatin' outside the ship. It looks like it's dead.

WHAAT?!

*He jumps up and turns around to look at the monitors, and there it was. The foot-less mech that had scored a painful shot at his Hyper Half, floating outside.*

Aight, I'll get it.

*He grabs his space suit on the way to his mech, Garland, and takes off to the lifeless mech, drifting away in the ocean of darkness. He grabs a hold of Freyja with Garland, and leaves his cockpit for Freyja's, with a phase gun in hand.*

Dan here. I'm gonna check on the pilot to make sure it's not a trap.

*He mumbles to himself.* Yeah, like the pilot suddenly had a heart attack during the fight or something, and somehow drifted over to us by itself.

Actually, I was following that mech. I figured we could have atleast taken that one, since there were no warships or carriers on the way it went.

*Just then, he would open the hatch for the cockpit and peek in with his gun ready. However, he was surprised to see that there was some chunk of metal filling the pilot seat, connected by wires everywhere, instead of a human being. He would go in as far as he can without getting tangled in the wires to observe the cockpit.*

Uh.. no one's here.. Just some.. box..

What box? If it's safe, just bring that thing in the Darkness. We'll check it out later. Let's just get the hell out of here before those Vanguardian units reach us.

Uhh.. aight.. ?

*He returns in his mech and carries Freyja back into the Sky Darkness, now headed for the Pirates' Hideout.*

Pilot A: Preparing for docking...

*The Aqua Valiance comes to a halt within the hangars, where the Racer Pilots' Units awaited in a the line that was awaiting to be boarded, along with Yuri's Alterion.*

We have arrived, sir.

Alright, have a short break. Return here in 0500 hours. Have the crews bring the mechs I've ordered in the Valiance.

Navigator B: Sir, there's a transmission for you.

Open in main screen.

*In the transmission was Yuri from the Alterion.*

Hello, Governor Trufeld. I am Yuri Eldform, and the professor has requested me to go with you to test out this prototype model.

*He checks on the side-window of her Identification, that was displayed on the right side of the main window, where Rolard, his pet Phoenix have been resting at, ontop of one of the control machines.*

Your father has sent you? I accept to take you with us, but before we do, I would like to go to speak with him on a few, certain matters. Once you board the ship, you should bring your things with you. Our trip may be a fairly long one before we stop anywhere.

Thank you, Governor Trufeld.

*He ends the transmission, and calls for Rolard before he leaves to go see Leowen.*
PostPosted: Wed Jan 12, 2005 1:57 pm

*Moments after sensing Leowen's presence at the hangar, he arrives to see Leowen still in a fit as he repairs any damages made on his Viator.*

Leowen, I believe we should go visit Professor Eldform now. You can work on the repairs when we set off. Our break here will not be for long. I would also like to discuss some matters with you along with him. I believe the Pirates are making their move as well while we are busy with the Renegades. This war is hurting our community as well as it being a downfall for our commerce.

Come with me. I'll set the teleportation course straight to the AACMI Research Lab.

*He walks back down the hallway, to the small, teleportation room on one end of the ship. There, after setting connection with the lab's teleportation device, he activates the large machine, causing it to begin whirring as parts would begin to rotate, showing a rush of energy at it's teleportation boundaries, and the inside lighting up, ready to send anything to the set destination.*

Starting repairs on Viator calmed Leowen's nerves but he was still too irritated to even bother complaining to Locke He'll hear about this once I report to that scientist.. Leowen stepped onto the teleportation pad Damnit, I allways hated these things the machine activated and the farmiliar blue light surrounded Leowen. When his eyes cleared he was standing in the office of Professor Eldform, Locke soon appeared next to him. Long time no see..
PostPosted: Sat Jan 15, 2005 2:01 pm

*After Leowen arrives in a meeting room, secluded from those of the others in the lab within the floor, Professor Eldform turns to Leowen to greet him.*

Prof. Eldform: Ah, I see you have returned. I have heard from Governor Trufeld what had happened. Such thing was bound to happen. It was not your fault that you have lost your mech, as well as the AI Program. However, when the enemies gets their hands on the prototype, it may not be very pretty during the battles if they ever plan on mass producing them, even if they are not complete.

Yes. I have also sent a search team for Leowen's lost mech, Freyja, however, there still haven't been any reports of it being found. I am afraid that the pirates that had attacked Leowen go in the general direction of where Freyja has fled.. I would not be surprised if it was to loot the mech for profit.

Also, if that were to be the case, I believe it would be better than the Renegades finding out about it. I highly doubt that the pirates would have organized any form of factories to use for any type of mass production as of yet, and would not consider producing any copies of the lost AI Program. Things may be different if they tried to sell it to the Renegades though.

Ah, perhaps so. But in the current model of the AI Program, it would be very difficult to even unequip it from the current mech, from what Yuri has told me. Leowen, your mechs are certainly marvolous, but it makes a couple of additional functioning programs a bit more difficult to set on your models. If you are interested, I will have one of my assistants to send you a sample blueprint of other mechs, pointing out any important points of the control circuits for certain items, as well as the AI Programs.

Yes, Professor. I also came here to talk about Yuri. She has told me that you would like me to take her and her mech with me to test a new type of Tesla Drive Engines.

Ah, yes. I believe that advancements in AI Programs wouldn't be enough to fight against tough opponents in a war. What we are testing is the new, compact form of the Tesla Drive Engine, which I am sure you have knowledge of, considering how the Bilt Falken uses it. Well, the Alterion is a prototype for testing out the compact engine. I believe that it is ready for testing in actual battle.

*He turns to Leowen once again, who stood there rather impatiently.*

Leowen, did you bring the Recording Device with you? Considering that the AI Program has underwent one of the three situations of it going haywire, I believe we may be able to find a solution on fixing where the glitches can be. For the statistics it provides, I am willing to pay you 10,000 credits for you to continue this mission, although it may not be near enough to pay for your lost mech.

"My mechs are fine the way they are, you try to mix your cheap a** systems with superior ones and s**t is going to happen. But, as long as I get paid I'll look at your shitty blueprints..."

THe Scientist nodded and turned back to Lock and continued discussing statistics about their inferior mechs and AI programs I should just my my own damn machine..One that..

10k...it's a start...
"What do you think? I downloaded it before I left the mech" Reaching down Leowen touched a button his arm and a small data chip popped out. Pulling it from his arm Leowen handed it to the Professor.
