Maku the Dark Atrasententia You have to account for the fact that people can THROW knives too. Indeed, but to throw a kill shot with a knife is pretty difficult. Not only must you be close enough to be accurate, but you also have to have the "umph" to pierce anything tell that to a Samurai, damnit! >.> and Ilphae, yeah... iii-_- money and prestige are always the only way to get your way in teh world...

Well, eye shots are fairly rare, due to the amount of skill needed. One would just put that into something else, like using the knife as a weapon, not a throwing knife.

Just as Hallgod has mentioned, eye shots are rare. And surprisingly, eye shots don't always guarantee a kill shot.

Or if you live in one of those counries that puts prostitutes in a position of esteem. I know in India there are temples to a goddess of fertility where there are holy prostitutes that take the money earned from their services and put it toward the temple.
