My friend wears WWII replica uniforms to school, walks around with a Russian helmet on, and occasionally has a period gas mask attatched to his bag. OH! He has the red star pinned to/airbrushed on all of his military paraphinalia. And he has one of those amazingly fluffy russian hats with the ear covery thingies (with the star pinned on. XD)! It's fun to pet. Parker's a hoot. XD

On topic: Combat boots are the SECKS. I always wear mine ninja
Zarud, my grandaddy has a revolver too, not to mention some hunting etc.

XD I know my Soviets so ask me ANYTHING and I can explain it! ex: The furry hat is called a 'Ushanka' I have one, also that coat is a Conscipt's wool trench coat made in 1939. My rifle was made in Jan 1943 in the city of Stalingrad. The boots are a from 1952, the uniform pants are from est. 1940 and the tunic is late 1970's. The hat is a replica. and the helmet is also late 1970's parade marks(the red star). the 4 medals and 3 pins I have are all originals. 1 is VERY rare and normally fetches for over $200 but I got it for free. The coat was practically a steal for $40 when its worth at LEAST 10x that due to its condition. My regular belt is from the early 80s and the second one(with the strap) is from the mid 1960s.

I have several ушанка ("ushanka"), I also have tons of medal and badges in my home. My dad used to be a jet pilot and engineer in the army. Damn...I have a lot of Russian army stuff at home. Lol. My great grandmother was a parachuter, I have her old passport for it xd

My friend had a pair for only a few months and the soles wore out, cracked (HIS SHOE HAS A HOLE) and the supports on the insides were non-existant. My grandpa served in WW2 in the Navy, but he was on a cargo ship out on the eastern front. XD He saw no real action, but he's pretty damn thankful of that! The gunner on his ship couldn't hit the water for the ocean. He has no cool stuffs. The entire male half of my dad's side of the family was either in WW2, Korea, or Vietnam, and they're all the children of or are coal miners. I have a very loud and obnoxious family. XD
