"Well, as far as I can tell, I don't a have any magic. However, I've always had a special talent for those mechanical things... specifically things that go boom" she added with a side look at Kimmi, "Though really, I could even fix an old fashioned watch, or a child's a toy of any size. As well as truck engine or a head piece... really, it has no limit I swear. Even if I've never seen an object before, all I have to do is study it for a few hours." she stopped after that, realizing she was rambling a little bit, but still, it was something to be proud of...
"And my aim, rarely miss a shot" she couldn't help adding.
They were already cruising on their way back to the camp now, and Khana suddenly realized how tired she was. When was the last time she'd actually slept? Better yet, when was the last time she'd slept for more than two hours at a time?

After a brief glare, Khana stuck her tongue out at Kimmi , "You know, I'm not just the trigger-happy girl. I used to be a lot different then I am now, but this whole thing has changed everyone, and usually not for the better." she said after, crossing her arms.
Then she added more quietly, looking away "And yes... all my guy friends used to hate me, envy me, and ask for advice all at the same time." she had just confirmed Kimmi's little statement.

Kimmi shrugged and nudged her again. "Their loss." She hopped out of the cab. "You know." She said not turning around. "Not everyone is different from who they used to be." She smiled over her shoulder and winked. "I'm just me." With that she took off towards the children. "Who's ready for a bedtime story!" She gave them another of her animated happily ever after fairy tales by the fire and then sat and colored with them till they fell asleep. Yawning she grabbed a blanket and lay down near the children and was quickly asleep.

Kimmi was having similar issues. Her eyes shot open and she slapped her hand over her mouth to keep from screaming. Taking a deep breath she assured herself it was just one of children and not the zombie child that had attacked her. She stood and stumbled out of camp where she was promptly sick. Siting back she kicked sand over it as she recovered from her dream. "Stupid nightmares. Enough things in reality to freak me out. Don't need traitorous dreams to do it too." She muttered.

Satori noticed that Kimmi had left camp feeling sick. He followed her out to where she was and sat down next to her. "Is something wrong?" Satori asked slightly worried."

Fillup and Serg sat on the ground, leaning over a map of the area "Well it should be 20 miles south, then 50 west, and then we're goign to have to walk for a bit..." Serg pointed to a narrow valley with the flash-light "It should be there, but if it's not then we're screwed son..." Fillup nodded at the old vet.
"We always take risk Serg, this is just another one we have to take" he popped his gum, there was no emotion aside from sadness in his voice.

After getting back to camp, Khana had stumbled into her tent and fallen asleep immediately. At first she slept soundly, a refreshing dreamless sleep. However, it wasn't long before she woke up suddenly. She sat bolt upright, but couldn't figure out why, it had been like something was hovering just on the outside of her awareness.
She lay back down and fell asleep quickly despite her rude awakening. Again, it started out quiet, but she awoke suddenly after hearing a scream followed by the sound of a gun shot. She stood up and looked out the tent door, but no one else seemed to have herd it.
Once more Khana lay down, taking longer to go back to sleep this time. She saw a flash of something before her eyes, the source of which she couldn't determine. After this she did not awaken, but continued a restless sleep, continually being haunted by something she could not see, could not find.
