Amanda sighed rolling her eyes "he wont be back till late..and I know more then you think. He didn't hurt me. Trust me he didn't." she stood up and slowley walked to the kitchen. "I'm Amanda...you must be Jacob.."she sat on the counter.
"Nice to meet you...thanks for the truck" she tried to sound polite..but he was overreacting."um..if you guys plan to stay and wait for my Dad..I'll order a pizza..."

Jacob nodded, still not able to get over his earlier feeling. He was occupied with looking at the ground when he heard her say that she knew more than he thought.
"...what do you mean by that exactly?" His eyes narrowed, this girl was cute...that was true, but she was odd and it made him uncomfortable.
"I know this really isn't my business but....are you and...Cullen," Jacob spat the name with easily recognizable disgust. "together by any chance?" He wanted to jump at any time to nail the Cullen's for stepping over the line and getting close to a human.

Amanda shrugged. "I mean...I know..."she sighed and tossed him the book. "I know...ALOT" she stated planley.She tied her hair back for the time being and reached for the phone. "the sequal is upstairs along with the third...so I do know about you...not trying to sound like a threat or anything...."
When he spoke about her and Edward,she blushed lightly. "um..I dunno.I mean we just met today..." she said,trying to preoccupy herself with the phone book.

"You know....if you keep hanging around the Cullens, people are going to start thinking things...and the whole thing about knowing what and who we are...well....you're probably going to get an unpleasent visit sometime soon from them...or the Volturi." Jacob smiled, knowing quite a bit about the Italian vampires.
"I just want to make sure you're safe...." Jacob looked away, he wasn't used to talking like that around people, then again, he usually hung around his pack so there really wasn't a need for that.
"Well, by what I saw...and smelled...and by the way, you reek...I think you two are getting close and you have no idea how dangerous that really is. What if one day he loses his control? Huh? Then what? You're dead, that's what." Jacob had a tendancy to yell a little bit but that was only because he was riled up. "You'd be laying in a gutter dead....or you'd be walking around like one of them. Either way, you'd be nothing but a parasite to your family...." It sounded harsh but it was the truth.

Amanda looked at Jacob with a serious look. "one..why do you care?..two the treatys shot..just look your in my room. And three...It's up to me if I choose whether or not to hang around them."she started to grip the phone.
"And another thing...if we do happen to get 'close' as you think...then we do. It's up to me. " she rolled her eyes ready to dial when Charlie walked in with a pizza.

Jacob turned around quickly after hearing footsteps, he was about to shift when he noticed that it was just Charlie. He had gotten so wrapped up in the conversation that he almost thought it'd be Edward or something....then again, that made him feel stupid, if the bloodsucker wanted to ambush them, they'd probably be a lot quieter.
"Hello sir...I was just...well...I was...umm...with Billy here." Jacob laughed almost hysterically, he didn't know what else to say.
"Umm....I'll finish talking to you later." Jacob looked towards Amanda and pleaded with his eyes that she'd agree to that at least.
"Let me help you sir...." Jacob offered and took the boxes from Charlie, setting them down on the kitchen table.

Amanda put the phone down. She got up and went to grab lates when Charlie banned her to the couch. "Grrr dad. Its just a sprain.."he didn't agree.
She limped to the couch and sat down. What was with everyone...it was just a sprain.Not the end of the world. She sighed and leaned back on the couch when Charlie came and gave her a slice of pizza."thanks dad.."

Jacob sat down next to Amanda, he wasn't in the mood to eat. He kept thinking about how the bloodsuckers were beginning to befriend humans....didn't they know it was dangerous? Sure they were basically indestructible, but the humans aren't.
"Stupid, nasty bloodsuckers...." Jacob muttered, sighing and closing his eyes.
"Are you serious about this guy? This...Cullen?" The name made him shudder with anger and frustration.

There was no way in hell that Edward would leave Amanda alone with the dog boy. He had ran home and collected some equipment for himself in case he needed it. After he was sufficiently decked out, Edward changed his clothes and ran back to Amanda's house. He scoped out the surroundings and made sure that Jacob didn't go with his pack, then he quietly snuck around to the forest edge and placed motion sensors on the ground, just for a little reassurance that no one was going to sneak up in the middle of the night and hurt her.
"Is this going over board......" Edward smiled and shook his head, it was perfectly fine, what he was doing. He wanted to protect her and this was one way to go about it.
Edward had finished hooking up and starting the sensors, once he was satisfied, Edward grabbed a book from his bag, it was a Biology book that he had taken from Amanda when she wasn't paying attention. Now he had a reason to go over. He smoothed out his clothes and rang the doorbell, he could smell Jacob and almost gagged.

Amanda looked at Jacob "I told you..I just met him today." she didn't like the way he called him a Cullen. "Honestly..his names Edward" she finished her pizza and put it in the sink when the doorbell rang.
She slightly jumped. She limped over and noticed Charlie was eyeing her."I'm fine geesh.."she opened the door. When she saw who it was..she couldn't help but smile."hey.." she wasn't expecting him...so soon.

Edward smiled and kissed her lightly on the cheek.
"You....forgot your book in my car..." Edward whispered, he noticed that Charlie was home and didn't want to alarm him...that is...until he saw Jacob.
That dirty mongrel.... Edward thought.
It wasn't enough that Jacob was alive and bothering him, he had to hang around Amanda as well? Where was the justice in the world.
"I'll kill him..." Edward almost growled, his teeth bared, he looked ready to pounce.
He hated him so much, he always got in the way of things and never knew when to butt out and leave him alone. His pack as well, they were always accusing him and his family of ridiculous things. Everytime an animal was killed, it was the Cullens. Everytime someone was hurt, it was the Cullens. Every single little thing was their fault.

She blushed when he kissed her cheek.She took the book and put it on the counter. She heard him.
"edward..not here.." she whispered .She smiled. "Um...dad...It's Edward Cullen." she hoped Jacob wasent going to all wolf in the house. "Did you wanna come in or..." she hesitated...not wanting a fight to brake out.

Edward smiled at Amanda, though his smile didn't really touch his eyes like it usually did.
"No, I think I'll come in...just for a little while...hello there, Jacob." Edward spoke calmly but his eyes said otherwise.
He turned to Charlie and composed himself like he should have at the beginning, there was no reason to make more people hate him that need be.
"Hello, sir. I hope things are going well." He smiled but was in tune with Jacob's thoughts. Most of it was a jumbled mess of cussing and such, but some was audible. Like he hated him, that was obvious, and that Jacob had a small crush on Amanda.
Son...of....a...b***h.... Edward thought to himself.
He whipped around and sat down next to Jacob.
"If you touch her...I'll make sure your life is a living hell....believe that...." He whispered, just enough for Jacob to hear.
Edward got up again and slipped her arm around Amanda.
"How's the ankle?"

Amanda blushed slightly. "It's better..." she could sense the tension in the room. Especially Charlies...he was eyeing Edward. Uh...oh Charlie had only nodded to Edward.
She looked up at Edward "thanks..again about helping me.." she emphisised the word help for Jacobs part. SHe was surprised he wasnt saying anything.

Jacob's shoulders were hunched over, he was trying very hard not to punch Edward's lights out. He shuddered once and calmed himself down, it was a lot harder since the PROBLEM was in the room with him.
"Hey...Edward...how about we take a little walk outside...just for a little bit." He looked up, his eyes had gone feral. They had turned inky black and empty.
He smirked once and took off out of the house. He called over his shoulder, "Sorry Charlie! Emergency!" He kept running, leaping into the air, Jacob's body stretched and he transformed into his wolf form, his clothes ripping into shreds. He picked them up and ran off into the woods, he knew the bloodsucker would find him.

Edward smiled widely at Jacob.
"Having a little trouble keeping cool I see." He taunted, it wasn't a smart thing to do, fighting in the house like that, but he had to, there was no other choice.
When Jacob bolted out of the room, he shook his head and tsked.
"Such a shame...I do believe I should go check on him though...just to see if he's alright that is..." Edward got up and pulled Amanda aside so he could speak to her alone.
"I'm going to check on him....it'd be best if you didn't follow but I cannot stop you....be safe." he whispered the last bit and kissed her hand.

She blushed "just...don't kill him or get hurt...kay?" she whispered.She didn't want him to leave.She bit her lower lip lightly.
Charlie called out that he was taking Billy home. "Alright!..I'll be in bed when you get home!" she yelled to them.she looked back at Edward.
