Grinning widely, Asuma's right hand shot to his Dadao, unhooking it from his back. "You know, I was wondering what happened at that meeting. Tansen...left me behind. So two captains were kidnapped?" As his grin held, his face turned cold and malevolent, as his past anger towards his captain and half brother returned. If only he had been there, maybe he could have done something. But, then again, the others were there. Captains, and other vice captains. What could he have done? Still...

As his Baguadao started to change, Asuma disregarded it, as he tightly held his Dadao as it started to melt. It bubbled first, giving off heat, as it turned from regular steel into mercury, making a puddle at Asuma's feet. Putting the sheath, which had been the only part of the sword not made of metal into his pocket, Asuma stepped forward. "Iu-san...I'll take it from here." Putting his right hand above him, the metal at his feet collected into a ball above his head, swirling quickly.

Asuma used his metal making ability, enhanced by his shikai release, to make the ball bigger, as the amount of metal increased. Slamming his hand downward, he pointed his right hand towards the small hollows in front of him. "Hari Ame((Needle Rain)). Be stabbed to death." The liquid metal ball above him turned into thin and razor sharp senbon needles, that after they had been made, raced forward, burying themselves into Hollow after Hollow. Before long, the Hollow in front of them were on the ground, their masks shattered. This still left, however, the numbers that had been staying behind the menos. And those, Asuma did not know their number.

There were still small Hollow around them, but the ones directly in their path were neutralized, not only by the needles, but the mercury they were made of. "What now...Iu-san. Since your the captain here..."

Aerin walked around the area, his zanpaktou unsheathed in his right hand, he heard the words of many people, but one rather "Jumped" out at him as his captains voice, he was only the 9th seat as of right now but he knew he could handle himself. Aerin turned his head to the right quickly as he heard something run threw a dark ally, he then heard something to his left as he sighed and turned his head to the road ahead of him as he thought. 'Just what I need a ambush....should be intresting.' Aerin said as he took a deep breath in and let his reiastu be seen, the silver aura was breath taking as it lifted his hair and faintly the bottum of his Shinigami robes. 'It's over' He thought as he seen then without even turning his head, he was now heading to his captain's reiastu.

The two hollows followed Aerin at his same speed, they ran on the streets to that were left and right of Aerin, there heads where turned, and they kept a steady lock on him as if they where waiting.

Aerin slowed down he knew what he was going to do but did the hollows? He seen the fast, narrow, and upcoming ally that he was gaining, he quickly side stepped into the one person ally and cloaked his reiastu and made no sound as he walked threw the ally. Aerin reached the end of the ally and looked showing one eye seeing that the hollow had his back turned, Aerin with his katana still out jumped out lightly not making a sound and ran full board at the Hollow trying to make his foot steps as light as possible.

The hollow turned seeing the shinigami's blade go across his face and down his shoulder and then the same thing on the other side making a X pattern as the hollow burst away. Aerin quickly ran to another ally knowing that the stupid hollow would rush to the sound of his comrade being slain, Aerin knowing this ran and doubled back to his narrow ally, he ran out hasty as he heard the hollow behind him. The hollow swung a giant arm at Aerin smashing him threw the wall near by and throwing him into another wall inside of the building. Aerin hit the wall hard and breathed in deeply from the impact as he didn't let go of the blade he got up rather slowly as he watched the hollow step threw the whole in the wall smiling a devlish grin. Aerin watched the hollow in slow motion as he heard a voice inside his head speaking 'Move, Move or die it's your choice.' Aerin used whatever will power he had left and ducked a on coming fist and thrusted his Zanpackto into the stomach of the Hollow making him burst away with a screech.

Aerin sheathed his Zanpackto and stepped threw the rubble and walked to his assigned area possibly finding his captain in the mean while.

"We shall cleanse away thine bitterness..." A voice muttered amidst the large group of Hollows. Suddenly, numerous flickers of light appeared all over the battlefield, slicing and dicing every single Hollow in the immediate vicinity of where the voice came from. After the flickers of light disappeared, Xeion reappeared in front of the shinigami assault party which, for the time being, consisted of members of Squad Eight, Nine and Eleven, holding Elena in a slanted manner with his eyes closed. If one were to look closely, tears fell from his eyes.

"Rest in peace..." He muttered once more as the Hollows that were slashed disintegrated into small orbs of light which flew up to the glimmering starlight above. "War is such a terrible thing..." Xeion muttered once more, wiping his eyes of the tears he shed a while ago.
