Anyel is leading the way in front. Bel follows and Kite brings up the rear. As the journey continues, Anyel can feel himself dehydrating. As he begins looking for signs of water, he catches a glimpse of a shadow, lurking low in the bushes.

"Anyel...?" Bel blinks as Anyel steps away from the group.

Whatever was there has disappeared already. Anyel is distracted by signs of water nearby. He is rewarded by the sight of a stream that leads shortly to a pond. The pond is big enough for his purposes, although barely. However, a creek feeding into the pond promises bigger bodies of water farther on.
Kite watches Anyel curiously as the quiet man moves suddenly into the bushes.

Anyel isn't worried about whatever the shadow was, he's much more interested in getting wet. "This looks like a good place to rest," he says, turning back to his companions. "Sit a few moments in the shade. There is something I need to attend to."

"Hey...! Where you going...?" Bel starts to follow, then on second thought, grabs Kite by the arm to tow him after Anyel.

Kite makes a small sound of displeasure at the rough treatment and stumbles along with Bel.

Anyel sighs and stops, waiting for them to catch up. "It's nothing to be concerned about," he says, and points to a fallen log. "Sit there and rest, we still have a ways to go."

"The stream," Anyel answers in a tone that suggests his patience is wearing thin. "I will be back shortly. Stay here."
Leaving them on the log, he begins to follow the stream.
