"You haven't caused me any trouble at all, Danni." And with that, he snagged the waitress, ordered up a sundae, and waited patiently for it.
While they waited, Alex took Danni in. Red hair that was so... vibrant. A soft face, but one that could cause some trouble, he could tell... Nice, toned body. She was beautiful. And from all the times she had made him laugh, the inside was even better. He wondered what she thought of him, if she was scared of any little part of him that he had exposed. God, he hoped not.

But it seemed she was not. She laughed and chattered with him as easily as anyone else. Appearance mattered little past the fact she enjoyed someone nice to look upon. People were who they were and that was how she judged them, not by hair color or style of clothing. It wasn't right to do that.
" And that is why we never let Ella near a stove." She grinned.

Laughing. He was laughing so hard, and not entirely from the story, but the way Danni told it. It was like everything was all spread out for him to see, and he even felt like he knew Ella after all the tales.
"Jeez... you guys sound like a real family."
The sundae had come to interrupt him, in all it's gooey, chocolately glory. Two spoons, one for him and the other he handed to Danni.
"Ladies first. And if you don't go for the cherry, I'll be offended."

Danni donned a sly grin and wrapped her finger around the cherry stem, making a deliberate salacious show of eating it, just to mess with him. Inwardly, she was chuckling at the flushing on his face, and the looks she drew from some other customers. As she finished and took the first bite of the sundae, she prided herself on not laughing or blushing.
" Are you taking a bite, or not?" She asked, raising a brow and placing double meaning into the sing-song sentence.

This was going to be a very interesting friendship. As he tried not to look phased, he got an idea for his own show.
"After all that, and you didn't even tie a cherry stem." Alex took the stem from beside the glance, placed it on his tongue, took it into his mouth, and in little time at all, pulled out a tied stem.
"There." It was placed upon the table for all to see, and he laughed. "Now I can take a bite."

Danni laughed and wriggled her fingers at him.
" Beginners luck!" She smiled, and just as he went to put the spoon in his mouth, snatched it from him, ate the desert, and popped it right back into his hand within a matter of seconds, grinning.
" We're even." She winked at him and continued to eat.

"Even for what? And how do you know that that was luck, hm?" His blue eyes glittered mischievously with the question. Yes, he wanted to kiss her. Yes, he wanted to be with her. But all this joking was just confusing, so no moves would be made until he could sort things through.
He could only settle for scooping up a dollop of ice cream with his finger, and dabbing her nose with it when she wasn't expecting it.
"Ha!"

Danni looked crossed eyed at her nose before shooting to tongue up to lick it away, in a rather hilarious gesture.
" We can never know if it was luck or not, can we?" She winked and did the same to him, scooping a bit of ice cream with her forefinger and pressing it to his lips, both to silence the retort no doubt he had and just for the fun of it. They were making a scene of themselves, but both seemed to not really care.

Well, that's that, he thought as he opened his mouth to gently bite her finger and lick the ice cream off. It was fast, in the blink of an eye, but Alex wanted to play the game, too. He wasn't about to be left out.
"Careful, you're finger at least might know now." The blush coloring his ears was a giveaway, but hey. He was having fun.

She grinned and wiggled the tip of it after pulling it away from his mouth, the whole digit tingling happily.
" Yes I think it does." There was uncharacteristic color in her cheeks, matching her flaming hair perfectly. It was all so much fun.
" So, where would you like to head after this?"
' Somewhere private preferably?' She thought to herself, smirking inwardly at that.

"Hm... I dunno. Whole day ahead of us, whole school to see... wherever. Just say when you want to get rid of me, and I'll go."
The bill came, to which he slapped down a credit card. Ah, savings accounts and the convenience of plastic.
"What else is around here?"

" When I want to get rid of you? Then I'm afraid your in for a bad sort of luck, stuck with me and all." As he stood, she curled her arm around his again with a smile.
" Well, more shops, there's some water gardens, grounds and such..its very nature oriented place, this campus."

It surprised him when she curled her arm around his again without him even extending it.
"Any more ponds you can nearly shove me into?" he joked as the bill was paid. "I meant it when I said I'll go wherever. You choose."

Danielle smiled, twisting her mouth in an irresistible way.
" Alright...we'll stop by the water gardens then. I promise I won't push you in." She grinned and gestured to the door.
" Shall we?" Without an answer, she carted him off towards the gardens after the bill was paid.

Annabelle Souris arrived arm in arm with her love, Pyralis. The staff at the inn were learning to recognize them, and secretly adored watching the two as they sat and ate and laughed in their simple environment.
"Goodness, I can't feel my nose," she said as their waitress brought them to their booth away from prying eyes. "I knew it grew cold here, but this is a bit too chilly for my liking."
Truth be told, Anna loved all the seasons, but when wind took away feeling from your extremities, it was difficult to enjoy the winter.
