pickle relish ((Buh...buh...the Police! *disolves in envy*)) Hana watched Kira with interest. I wish I had something useful like Byakugan. I mean, I can do my mom's techniques, and my dad's, but they really aren't that special. She waited for a couple moments, and then asked "Can you see the tower?"
Kira nodded. "Yah, I see it." She said, as her Byakugan disappeared. "It is about a hundred kilometers that way!" She pointed in the direction the tower lies.

((Yay! We finally have our third teammate. We have an all girl team. xD))
Hana nodded. I think that's the way I pointed originally. But I can't remember. It sure is handy having Kira on the team. And she's nice, too.
"Okay. Well, I guess we should get going then, huh?"
((Sure! Ummm...we're all on the second part of the Chuunin exams, the wonderful forest of death one. We're all already chuunins, but we're pretending to be Genin so we can fight an undercover Akatsuki member. You're on Kira and Hana's team, and we're about to head to the tower. Anything else you want to know?))

"Alright then, let's go. No point in wasting time." Ryu grumbled. She hated being on a team, to be honest. Working with other people was too hard for her. She wasn't compatible.
Ryu finished re-tying her forehead protector over her eyes, then took off.

"I think I'm gonna puke," Ibaraki scoffed.
While it was true that he used women like tissues, he only did so because he didn't want to go through the sort of hell his parents did. They were living proof that love brought on nothing but trouble. The only reason Kiku was diffferent was because she was a challenge, simple as that. Right? Right.
"Oi Jubei, why don't we take to the trees? they're big enough for all three of us to rest in comfortably and it gives us a good overveiw of everything coming from this way."

"Good thinking, Ibaraki. Let's go."
He jumped straight into the air and landed gracefully upon a high branch. He gave the area a glance over and then waved his hand to signal Ibaraki and Mai to join him.

((Heh. I'm doing a drawing of Emi and Hana right now. If it turns out okay, I'll post it. It looks alright so far, but I'm not exactly an artist, so I can still ruin it. sweatdrop ))
Hana watched Ryu leave, and shrugged at Kira. She shoved her kunai back in her pack, and followed.
It was hard, sometimes, being stuck on a team with the two sisters. They may have been related, but they were nothing alike. Ryu obviously wasn't a team player, and didn't waste time with pleasantries on the other two. Hana sighed. If we can get through this task without killing each other, then everything will be alright.

Kira sighed. Ryu seemed to be being more mean than usual, witch meant that at home, things would be living hell. She sighed, and followed Ryu deeper into the forest. Why does Ryu hate me so much? If she'd take the time to open her eyes, she'd realize we both dislike our parents and that we're not that different. Why doesn't she see that?

Suddenly, suddenly,
Ryu sighed as her Byakugan led her through the forest. Why does Kira have to be so damn perfect? It's like she doesn't know it, but she's a Mary Sue. When I was 16, I wasn't nearly as good at fighting as her. Why does she have to be a damn godlike little sister?
Ryu was obviously brooding, but she was also watching all around her. It wouldn't be exactly great if she was seen as a weakling older sister. That wouldn't be good for her reputation.
I don't feel so insecure.

"Ummm..." Hana was in between the two sisters, and the silence was killing her. Both were obviously brooding, probably about being stuck with each other. Hana wasn't the brooding type. She was the talking type, and neither of the girls were talking. "Nevermind," she muttered.

I know my hidden looks can be deceiving..
But how obvious should a girl be?
I was taken by the early conversation piece,
And I really like the way that he respect me.
Mai jumped up, following Jubei's suit.
"Hey, you don't have that damned byakugan activated, do you?" She asked, worried about him abusing that kekkai genkai.
After a few moments, Mai turned to him, still waiting for Ibaraki to join them.
"Heh. Sorry, I know you wouldn't do that!" She said, giving him a hug identical to the one Ibaraki had given her. The bone-crushing type. Not literally.
She released him, a grin plastered on her face.
I've been dropping so many hints..

Kira sighed, looking at Hana and Ryu. What am I gonna do? She wondered. And how does Hana feel being stuck between Ryu and myself? It must suck for her.

Ibaraki gave the area one final glance before leaping up to where the others were. This was the time he could really use a copy of Icha Icha, during long boring watches. Holding back a yawn he turned his head towards Mai.
"What's the first thing you plan on doing after we get outta this forest?"
About a league away Kiku sat in a tree as well, Byakugan activated and keeping watch as her teammates did their thing. She debated pinning her hair back during the mission so it wouldn't be as much of a liability and she wouldn't have to resort to giving it a quick chop in case she was caught.
"Stupid blind spot," she mumbled turning her head just enough to see.

Emi went jumping past several groups, not waiting long enough to let them attack her. I wonder how Rikou and Hiro are doing. Whatever. As long as they meet me by the tower, we should be fine.
She passed Team 7, hearing Mai's voice as she went. "...third test? Maybe see Akira-kun..." She passed by too quickly to hear the rest of it, but that much was enough. She laughed derisively to herself.
Wow, Mai. That's pretty pathetic. You just met the guy today, and you're already in love with him. What do you see in him, anyway? He's just your typical guy.
She continued on her way to the tower.
((Heh. Emi's such a b***h. I can't wait until she falls in love with someone, and has to eat her own words. xD))
