Hee! Feeling much less rambly and more worky today.
So, umm, that's what I'm doing.
I don't remember the last time I got to the climax of a novel-length story. It's very exciting. And yet, I feel oddly lost.
Imma go watch some action shows for inspiration.

Belated, but I know how you feel with the falling in love with your boys. smile I am absolutely 100% the same with mine; kind of the same thing happened with me, even, about the way they weren't supposed to fall for each other at all and just DID. I'm not sure how.
Sally always used to try and slash Henri, my main character, with Conor, who is his best friend, and it never really worked for me. Then I brought in Zealot, who I was supposed to kill off but never did, and it was over from there. Now all I think about half the time is Conor and Charlie (which is Zealot's real name) doin' stuff... They're wonderful. They make me so damn happy.

First of all, I'm happy to report that I feel nothing for the Soom October doll besides a vague sense of "Ooh! Shiny!" Which is good, because I'm going to be making minimum payments on last month's until sometime next year. Oops. Anyway…
After I finished the last scene, I actually watched some TV for, oh, about forty minutes before I became bored and attempted to sit back down and write more. Only to remember of course that there was nothing else to write! So I tweaked the formatting on the files to make them easier to print and went to bed early.
This morning, I feel as though I could do anything, which is a very dangerous feeling indeed. So far, no one has perished. I'm just as distracted as I ever was.
I've learned a lot, but I'd have to say the biggest thing I've gotten out of this mess is the fact I've finally convinced myself that one thing I say is true. If you don't sit your a** down and write it, it's not going to get written, guys. Additionally, there will always be holes you can't see in your outline, your characters will end up surprising you, funny and sexy are where you find them and you can never have too many zombies.
You'll also end up with a list of things to fix. Mine is hilarious.
I've sort of come to terms with the fact I have to redo the one character design. It's been 600 pages, and I still couldn't tell you what the one female lead looks like exactly.
I haven't got a screaming clue what's happened in the world since Friday morning. Did I miss anything?

Lol yay Savin ^^
Perhaps now do what they do with the anime .. the ova, oav .. whatever.. the extra scenes? xD
And yes, you must sit down and write.. you can totally tell in the story I just finished where I stopped and started, cause like .. every time I ended up using the character, I couldn't remember if I described them .. so.. d'oh I described them repeatedly in 'full' over about five of the twenty-eight pages .. -head to desk- And I always have a loose mockup of what the character looks like then a doll for further general reference.. I used to art but that got time consuming and expensive @.o
Anywho.. yay for being done with the first draft! Hopefully it becomes close to final to -nods-
And as for what happened since friday, I ono, I've been buried in my next book .. writing of course xD;

Yeah life has been boring since friday haha. You haven't missed much.
And I've kicked myself to make me write, even though it isn't about my two special guys, its a side one which keeps me writing. (Follows Saint's guide for writing).

Aww, you guys #^_^# *GLOMPS~*
So, after having my sister and then a family friend show up sans announcement last week, I am back! And my novel, printed out, weighs as much as a holiday ham.
I have six things that need re-written for certain, one character to rework and some foreshadowing to grandfather in. But, ultimately, I am very happy. My editor however wants my head. XD
So, I'm getting ready for NaNo and redoing my wardrobe. I suddenly grew tired of dressing like a frump. Half of my closet is now on it's way to Goodwill.
It's so strange. As soon as I mentioned this, every fashionista on my LJ showed up and was redressing me from afar XD.

Wow that must be a huuuge novel. Your poor editor...but it is their job xD
Shopping for a new closet is either fun...or annoying. I can never find something good.
Wellll good luck!!

Oh wow =o long visits unannounced can be stressful Heh thanks to the internet I no longer have to print out my books for editing xD; of course with grandmother I did, but.. she's no longer around
I did something like that just before fall.. I basically went through and took out everything that didn't fit or looked good .. I pretty much ended up with like 5 styles of shirts which I've all gotten multiple colors of and 2 pairs of pants and a skirt xD; I'm sad .. g'luck on your re-establishing style!

I love my editor, but she is amusingly stern. Probably for the best. No one meanders in prose like I do! And that is nothing to be proud of sweatdrop .
So far, I've had two order go off sans hitch and one that's blown up in my face. Goddamn, how can EVERYTHING I ordered be BACKORDERED? Is there a strike among clothing packers or something?
I started NaNo, got distracted, and started again with another story. Basically, I have a vague setup for this one and some charming characters. I will write whatever I think of while brushing my teeth in the morning. So far, so good!

Awah lol gotta love editors who can straighten out our musings
Backorders? I ono, maybe with the crunch down of economy their stock shrunk up like a shrinky-dink in the oven..
Heh xD; yay for getting on track, whether or not on the specific book -waves arms- yay!
