the only thing that comes to mind is new year's resolutions. if fits loosely because they start small then they get bigger than life so you cant achieve them, so they die. but every year you make a new one.
so what is it?

well thats not very accuarate, trees dont die every year they hibrenate and reawake every spring. granted i'll give ya the points for the good riddle, i was thinking to literally but i hold death in a higher regard than a long sleep because in a sleep you are still on earth but in death you break down to the basic elements. thats why i'm not very good with riddles, over analyze and literal

how are I today? well i'm cranky for no reason..... i'm getting angry at a drop of a hat now a days and it so much so that I've been able to notice it myself. thats a bad thing so i'm not sure as to why that is. I can restrain myself on the interweb some times... *glare through the INTERWEB!
