Sally wandered around her room, bored. She felt a sudden wetness spread across her head, making her nauseous. Urch... she kind of understood Chinese water torture now. She plonked on her bed, looking up at the ceiling. "Blargh..." she murmured, falling asleep.

The guard ran back to Kiri's cell just to make sure she was there and see if she was willing to eat. Reaching the cell the guard couldn't propertly see her.
"Kiri, I know your in there."
From the shadows dark eyes starred up at the guard.
"Listen your life is meaningless so just eat this food and be a good little lab rat."
Kiri lifted the small needle she had given up on using to open her cell. She just couldn't get her shadow to work. Every time she gave it the pin it would fall to the ground and start to roll away. Smirking she threw it like a dart a got it right in the guards eye.
The guard immeaditly jumped back and holding his eyes started cursing off a storm.
"B*****, DAMN, F***, you'r lucky I can't kill you. But don't think the Doc wont hear of this. Oh yes we will be giving you a proper punishment."
Reaching up he pulled the pin out of his eye. The damaged skin falling off a mechanical eye.
"Wow and I thought I was suppose to be the freak here."
Stepping towards the cell the guard just smirked.
"We'll see what kind of freak you are when the Doc's done with you."
With that the guard left. Kiri called after the guard.
"Ya run off to tell your boss your just to sacred to fight me yourself."
The guard just continued heading for the elevator and ignored Kiri.
'I am NOT going to get killed because of some stupid b****.'

Reaching Dr. Gerard's room he knocked before stepping in.
"I'm sorry sir for bothering you again but she still has weapons on her and I know it's not my place but I think she needs to have a greater punishment since she dosen't seem to care about what happens to her and still wont listen."
The guard came in with a bowed head but as he spoke he raised his head so Gerard could see the damage done to his eye.

Brynn Syvra strode into the hall, still braiding her hair. She looked around and found where Dawn was sitting before heading in that direction. She ended up sitting right down next to Dawn and continuing to plait her hair. She had only braided to a little down her shoulders. She had a lot of hair, so it was going to take a while. She kept her eyes either on the table or on the braid, but her ears were focused and listening.

Alice gave him a suspicious look. Pain killers? No he wouldn't lie to me. He's my friend... She thought to herself.
“No more going all Rescuers on me for now on though, alright?” He said, Alice frowned.
"As long as you don't get yourself into any more trouble like that! Do you know what they would have done to you? Especially since you have been sent to solitary already!!" She growled back. Jack looked down at his feet.
"Jack how do you think I got these?" She said as she held out her arms to reveal the scars; obviously not self inflicted.
The guilt was plain on his face, and now Alice felt bad. She sighed heavily and patted the spot on the bed next to her, motioning him to sit.
"Nah I'm o-"
"Sit." Alice commanded.
"Yes ma'am." Jack replied with wide eyes, plopping down next to her. Looking up to him from the spot on her bed was giving her a head ache.
"Just promise me that you won't do anything like that again?" She asked, her voice pleading.
"...Yeah sure."
"Say you promise."
Silence.
"Say it!"

Jack fidgeted uncomfortably on the side of the bed. Alice’s eyes were burning little holes through him.
“I promise,” he said, sounding defeated.
Jack remembered the pills left in his pocket. They felt like they were weighing him down, holding him in place. And he remembered the line of powder waiting on his nightstand. He fidgeted again, clenching his fists nervously. He couldn’t look at her.
“What did they do to you?” Jack asked to take his mind off of anything else. “You must have been gone for a couple of hours.”

Dragging herself to her feet Kiri had no idea what to do. She knew that she was about to probably be beat for that stunt she pulled but she really didn't care to much.
Dragging herself over to the door she tried again to make the shadow move toward the lock but it didn't even move this time. Flopping down she breathed heavily as she felt like passing out.
'It's no use I don't have the strength to even move the shadow little alone open this lock. I'm sorry hungry I'm starting to think poisoned food might not be so bad.'
Smaking herself Kiri continued outloud.
"No I can make it, I've been in worse situationshins. After all if they were going to kill me they would ahve done it by now."
Her head slumping Kiri fell into a half sleep and just layed there with open eyes as if she were dead.
'Yeah I've been worse.....I'll get out......it's only a matter of time.'

The guard fidgeted in front of Gerard.
"Umm sir canI go now I think I might need to get this eye replaced?"

Alice sighed and leaned her head back against her pillow.
"I don't really know. They have never done that before. Usually when I act out I am taken to the first floor, not the labs." She paused and rubbed a sore spot on the back of her neck. She felt a small lump, probably from being man handled when being brought back to her room. "They may have altered my powers...." Her voice was wistful as if she had spaced out for a moment.
Jack was still staring the floor when he spoke.
"You should get some more rest, you don't look so good...." His mumbled to his feet.
"What? I can't hear you." Alice said as she leaned forward.
Big mistake.
A sharp pain raced from her neck down her spine, Alice screamed out as the pain made her vision tunnel.
"Alice?!" Jack looked confused, worried and slightly in pain himself, all at the same time.
The pain finally receded, leaving a dull ache in it's wake.
"You alright?"
"...Yeah I should be fine." She answered in a strained voice.
"Why don't you stay here a little while until you feel better. I'm uh...going to go take a shower.."
"Ok." Her eyes were still closed waiting for the pain to spring on her again.
She heard the door close as he left with a soft click.
Alice sighed and opened her eyes. Her head felt like it was in a vice.
That look he had....something is really bothering him..I can tell... she thought to herself. Her eyes closed once more, but this time she could feel exhaustion pull at her mind, pulling her deeper until she finally fell asleep.

Dr. Gerard fold his hands together on his desk, and seemed to be deciding something.
"Very well then. Send James down to retrieve her and bring her to the first floor restricted area."
"Use tranq. darts Sir?"
"Yes but only a level 1. I don't want to compromise test results. Oh and when your done report to the lab for maintenance. Everyone is getting updated anyway."
"Yes Sir."
The guard left and made his way to the basement. The elevator ride was smooth as always, and before the doors even opened he could smell the scent of anesthetic. Despite the image that usually comes along with the name "basement" this one was nothing of the sort.
The walls of the hallways where stark white and made of marble. While the operation and recovery rooms where a pale grey. In the far back of the lab floor (as the guards called it) where the guard's quarters. Small cramped white rooms that resembled the subjects' rooms.
The guard stopped at the room second to last and knocked twice.
"What?" A voice called out. it was deep and cold.
"Gerard has ordered that you retrieve subject 709 and bring her to punishment."
There was the sound of rustling fabric from inside the room. The door opened to reveal a tall man with dark hair that hung in his face, and biceps that more than intimidated the other guards.
James rushed passed the other guard, not bothering to button his jacket, leaving his chest bare.
"He said to use a tranq.!" The other guard called after him, but he ignored him.
James made his way to the subject's cell in minimal time. He opened the door to find the girl asleep in the corner.
"Get up." He commanded, startling the girl.

Kiri jumped pulled out of her nap by a loud comanding voice. Opening her still tired eyes to see a very handsome and intimidating man before her.
"Oh cutie are you here for me."
Not saying anything James grabed her by her hair and dragged her to her feet.
"MOVE."
As he dragged her by her hair towards the elevator at the far end Kiri began to struggle.
"Hey this is goin alittle to far, you haven't even bought me dinner yet."
James just stayed quiet and pulled her into the elevator.
"Sorry I don't think I'll go with you."
Concentrating as hard as she can Kiri tried to get any of the shadows near her to do anything with her powers but just got a huge headache.
'Come on I can do this.'
Taking a deep breath the large amount of shadow that James was making jumped up and latched onto James causing him to lossen his hold on Kiri's hair. Jumping up she ran for it as James began to break from the shadows.
"I have to get out of here, that'll only hold for a second if I'm lucky. Why can't I have a knife on me. I need more than these pins."
Taking a right at the corner she kept running till she felt a sting in the inner part of her left leg.
'No I got to get away.'
Ignoring the blurryness that instanly came to her again Kiri took another corner at a full sprint and didn't look back.
James came after her very relaxed he knew she was running towards a dead ehd and that she would be out soon.
'But then again I don't feel like wasting my time with this little girl.'
Putting another tranq. into the gun he fired.
"Now what was it the guy was sayin about the tranq., probably dosen't matter that I used a level two."
Feeling another pain shoot through her leg (this time the outside part of the right leg) Kiri began to loose her footing and fell foward. Rolling over she watched as James came towards her.
"I'm...adding you...to my.......torture.......be....before kill list........"
Passing out Kiri's right arm fell lifeless as she had tried to lift it to trap him again.
