A bit overwhelmed with all of the attention she was suddenly getting, Willow ducks behind Eve.

Remus looked over to Serenity. She didn't look like she wanted anything at the time, but even so, he simply didn't want her there. Half because he didn't want to see any more pups, but half because he thought if she stayed longer, he might do something he'd later regret. "Go play, squirt," me mumbled. "You don't want to be here."

Aurora, spotting Remus off a ways from everyone else, trots over to him and waves. "Hey buddy! Why are you all the way over here?"

Serenity frowned up at him, padding back over to Willow. The pup looked shy..so Serenity was determined to make her not so! "Urik ha?" {Wanna come play?} She asked the little pup, smiling brightly.

Stretching, Ovid pulled himself up to his feet, a glimpse of Remus having caught his eye. Nodding at Miko to come along, the tala plodded his way to his friend, nodding at Serenity and Aurora once there. "Why're you over here skulking about?"

Growling lowly, Remus whirled around. "Didn't I ask you to go somewhere else, squir- oh." He blushed, and sat back down when he saw Aurora and Ovid. "Um... sorry. I thought you were the squirt. Anyway, what's the problem?"

Willow looked up at her mother.
Eve just shook her head and nudged Willow towards Serenity. "Go have fun", she tells her.
Willow smiled shyly and murmured, "okay."

Aurora puts one of her paws ontop of remus as she sits down. "Why are you all the way over here Remus? Why aren't you playing with us...what's wrong?"

Remus looked from Rory to Ovid, and siged. "I really don't know. It's silly, really. Just... I don't mind sharing, and all, but... why do I have to share again? My parents like the new ones better... even you two seemed to..." The longer he talked, the more rushed his speech became, until he was barely understandable at the end.

Quirking a brow at Remus' speech, Ovid looked truly bemused. "You think we'd trade you in for a newer model? Remus, pups are going to come along every now and then, but they'll never replace you. What kind of friends would we be if we scrapped every friendship we made for something new? No matter how many new friends anyone makes, they never forget the old ones."

Remus, pups are going to come along every now and then, but they'll never replace you. What kind of friends would we be if we scrapped every friendship we made for something new? No matter how many new friends anyone makes, they never forget the old ones." "Exactly! I know its hard to share, sure I don't have other tala siblings, but I have other siblings, Mommy has lots of pets. But tala will come up all the time, but you never forget your friends." Aurora leans close and huggles Remus quickly before she continues to talk. "We'd never replace you. And we like everyone the same, no one could EVER like another tala better! And your parents, I KNOW, like all of you the exact same. Sometimes younger ones need a little more attention, because they are so new to the world, but they love you all just as much as the other talas!"

Once they were done speaking, Remus looked up at the sky and started to laugh. "I guess you're right... I don't know what got in to me!" Chuckling, he rubbed his head and glanced at his friends sheepishly. "I've been acting more like a pup then the pups. But... it's just, I miss it. Being a pup, I mean. I don't get to be the baby anymore, and I have to look after my new sibs, and I even outgrew my slippers! I know it sounds silly, but I guess when it all piles up, it gets to you." He paused for a moment, deep in thought, and winked. "But then, there are pluses too."

Dropping to his haunches and chuckling, Ovid gave Remus a playful nudge, after smiling gratefully at Aurora. "Who says we can't act like pups? You're only as old as you feel!"

"I know there are some downsides, but there are a lot of plushes too!" Aurora nods. "You can always have fun at any age! Responsibility seems like a drag sometimes, but think of it as helping someone. And I'm sure your mommy can even buy you new slippers ^^" Aurora smiles to Remus and pokes at his small slippers that his paws are falling out of.

"True enough. Fun isn't limited to the little ones after all." Remus chuckled, looking down at his bare feet. "They don't make pen-gins in my size though. Maybe Okasan can have a talk with the slipper maker. That's how she got the other ones." Yawning, he looked back up at the sky. It was getting late, and he'd had a longish day. "Say... d'you guys wanna sleep out here tonight? Together? It could be like a campout or something!"
